Alchemy Master

Chapter 55, Awakening

By the bedside, Hei Gui and the four Elders’ eyes were filled with shock after seeing this scene.

They could sense that Qin Yichen was inputting Yuan Energy into Lin Huarong’s body. At first, they did not understand Qin Yichen’s intention, but now, they did.

This youth was using Yuan Energy to expel the poison! Moreover, looking at the speed, it was even more effective and faster than when he used Spiritual Energy to expel it earlier.

He actually had this kind of technique!

“You two, go guard the door! Don’t even let a fly in!” At this moment, Hei Gui no longer showed any signs of his usual drunkenness. With a solemn expression, he looked terrifyingly alert.

The four Elders exchanged glances, two of them nodded and retreated outside the door.

Just as they walked out of the room, they saw a familiar figure passing by outside.

“Lin Shiyun? What’s he doing here?” Both Elders had confusion in their eyes.

However, they had no intention of catching up to ask. They immediately stood like two guardian statues outside the room, scanning in all directions.

Inside the room, the black spots on Lin Huarong’s arms were dissolving at a speed visible to the naked eye. In less than an hour, both his arms had returned to normal.

*Huuuuu…* Qin Yichen opened his eyes and let out a long breath.

He felt that after clearing the poison from this arm did not take too much of his Yuan Energy.

However, for what came next, he had to prepare. The main meridian was next. To ensure nothing went wrong, he took a Pill to replenish himself.

Hei Gui and the two Elders silently stood beside him, not daring to interrupt.

Now, they would no longer underestimate Qin Yichen because of his age.

“Let’s begin.” Feeling his Yuan Energy had been replenished, Qin Yichen controlled it to suddenly crash into Lin Huarong’s main meridian.

“Ah!” At this moment, Lin Huarong, whose eyes had been tightly closed, suddenly opened. A hoarse cry of pain came from his mouth, and an aura, which commanded authority, spread out like a dam had been broken.

He was like a sleeping lion that had just awakened. His whole being was filled with a dangerous aura.

“Family Head!”

“Brother Lin!”

Seeing Lin Huarong suddenly open his eyes, Hei Gui and the two Elders revealed joyful expressions and hurriedly called out.

At this moment, Qin Yichen also withdrew his Yuan Energy and quietly looked at him.

This did not mean Lin Huarong had fully recovered. Rather, it was just that with part of the poison in his body cleared, he had naturally woken up.

It could be said that as long as there was even a trace of poison remaining in his body, a relapse was only a matter of time.

“I… feel much lighter.” Lin Huarong nodded to them, his voice as hoarse as a saw cutting wood.

“It really worked!” Hei Gui and the other two were overjoyed, all looking gratefully towards Qin Yichen.

“I’m expelling the poison for you. If you can endure this hellish pain, expelling the poison won’t be difficult. But, if you can’t hold on, then I’m powerless to help!” Qin Yichen bluntly said.

Expeling poison was like using a knife to scrape out rotten flesh, bit by bit, from the body. The pain was not something a person could scoff at. It was so painful, even though Lin Huarong was in a coma earlier, his body was still trembling.

Hearing this unfamiliar voice, Lin Huarong painfully turned his head to look at the youth sitting on his left.

Seeing this overly young face before him, he was stunned for a moment. His hoarse voice sounded again, “Little Brother, are you the one expelling the poison for me?”

Although he had been in a coma, he could still feel the changes in his body.

Qin Yichen did not respond to him, but instead closed his eyes again, fully controlling his Yuan Energy to enter Lin Huarong’s main meridian once more.

Fortunately, at this time, there was little Yuan Energy left in Lin Huarong’s meridians. Otherwise, if there had been a conflict between their Yuan Energy, the consequences would have been unimaginable!

*Ssiiiiiiiiii…* As soon as the Yuan Energy entered, even Lin Huarong could not help but draw in a sharp breath, his whole body drenched in sweat.

Seeing his condition, Qin Yichen immediately frowned.

It seems like even if he had the ability to clear the poison from Lin Huarong’s body now, given his physical condition, he probably would not be able to last until then.

Qin Yichen knew he could not rush for quick results. He could only clear a few main meridians, then wait for his body to recover before completely eliminating the poison!

Even though Qin Yichen had already tried to minimise the pain, Lin Huarong was still trembling in agony. It was only for the sake of a strong man’s dignity, he kept gritting his teeth, not crying out. Gradually, he became numb to the pain.

Although he was extremely weak, his consciousness was clearer than ever.

Looking at Hei Gui and the two Elders not far away, Lin Huarong’s eyes showed a trace of comfort.

It seems like these old friends of his had never given up on the idea of curing him. They did not come seeking fame when he was at his peak, nor did they abandon him when he was at his lowest. This kind of friendship was the most precious and sincere in the world!

As time silently passed, although Lin Huarong was in so much pain that he occasionally convulsed, his body long since soaked in sweat, the black spots on his withered face were slowly receding.

“Little… Little Brother, is it… is it done?”

Lin Huarong’s fists were tightly clenched. His nails were deeply embedded in his flesh. He felt that the stream of Yuan Energy flowing inside him was like a scorching flame, bringing about pain as though he was being scraped by knives and gnawed at by insects. Wherever it passed, it would stimulate his nerves as though they were on fire.

However, the benefit brought by this pain was undeniable. The meridians originally blocked by poison were now clear!

Although this was a good thing, he felt that if this continues, he might not be able to hold on for much longer.

*Huuuuuu…* At this time, Qin Yichen’s forehead was also covered in sweat. Expelling this poison, which had long been stuck inside this body, took a huge tool on both his Spiritual Energy and Yuan Energy. Fortunately, the poison in the main areas had been mostly expelled.

Seeing how Lin Huarong was about to reach his limit, he slowly withdrew his Yuan Energy.

After resting for a moment, Qin Yichen stood up, then solemnly said to him, “Although I’ve expelled most of the poison from the important areas, most of the poison in your body are still deeply rooted. You need to recover your body as soon as possible. When the time comes, I’ll completely expel the poison for you in one go.”

“Thank you, Little Brother, for saving my life!” Lin Huarong, supported by the two Elders, managed to partially sit up. He struggled to cup his fists towards Qin Yichen, then asked gratefully, “May I know Little Brother’s name?”

“Qin Yichen.”

“Haha, who would have thought that Brother Qin, at such a young age, would have such ability. I wonder which reclusive Master you have learned from. Today’s life-saving grace, this Lin will never forget. If there’s anything this Lin can do for you in the future, please don’t hesitate to ask.”

Although Lin Huarong’s voice was hoarse, he spoke with utmost sincerity.
