THE GOD EATER

With the assessment of the changes he had undergone after the time loop done, he began planning what to do next. First of all, he thought about the things he wanted to achieve. Next, he figured out the things he was missing to achieve those goals. Then he began outlining plans to acquire the missing items so that he could achieve the goals.

As his mind went through these steps, he scratched his chin and thought, ’I already know how to advance to rank 10. So what I need to do next is to ascend to rank 10. That way, I will be able to stand on somewhat equal footing with the Dao Lords.’

’To ascend to rank 10, I need divine crystals. I might need a lot of it since I have more than one Supreme Metac.’

’I can get divine crystals from Dao Lords, so I should see what I can do to get them to give me divine crystals. Fortunately, I know a lot about Dao Lords now and know some things that I can do for them in exchange for divine crystals.’

’If that doesn’t work, I can also try to get the divine crystal myself from the third heaven. As for trying to fight and kill a Dao Lord personally, I don’t think I’m ready for that.’

He chuckled, thinking, ’I’m strong and can wipe the floor with their avatars anytime. But I don’t think I am on the level of having a star within my body just yet. So searching for divine crystals is a better alternative than walking up to a Dao Lord to have my butt beaten.’

’However, I need more information about that place so that I won’t get lost in there. I also need information about places to find divine crystals. As it turns out, I know someone who should have this information.’

’Not only do they have the information, but they must also need divine crystals themselves. I know how to reach them. The only problem I have to deal with is how to get them to talk.’

As these things went through his mind, he took off in the direction of his future informant. He had only ten minutes to do everything he needed to do before the time loop would restart, so he felt that he was in a rush.

He set off at full speed towards Golden Sun’s Cave Heaven. As for the Time Traveler, this fallen Dao Lord wasn’t an option because Loki had killed him at this point in time.

He was halfway to his destination when Monarch Seer of Truth and False came up to him. The seer had three eyes on his face. The two normal eyes were also abnormal.

One of the eyes was pure white while the other was pure black. As for the third eye on his forehead, it was currently illusory, as if it wasn’t real.

Finally, he had many eyes all over his body. There were eight of them all over his body, and the eight of them were closed.

After seeing all of these features, Loki knew who the seer was and didn’t need an introduction to identify him. To be fair, he also didn’t need to see the seer to know he was. He could determine who the seer was just from his voice.

He was that familiar with the Monarch Seer of Truth and False. Not only that, but he also knew what the rank 8 seer had come to him for.

Even so, he still said to the seer, ”What do you want? I hope it is not to feed yourself to me because I’m currently full. You’ll have to wait one or two seconds before I can have room in my stomach to contain you.”

Monarch Truth and False didn’t know if he was joking or not, but the rank 8 seer stopped approaching him and even took a step back just to be safe.

He also quickly said to Loki, ”Please, don’t misunderstand. I didn’t come to fight you. I come bringing good news from my Dao Lord.”

Loki seemed to ignore what he was saying and instead let his eyes roam over the seer as if he were inspecting a piece of meat and was trying to determine how to start eating it.

While he was doing this, he moved closer to Monarch Truth and False while saying, ”Is that so? Tell me more about this good news of yours.”

His behavior made Monarch Truth and False feel a sense of crisis. His heart began to beat rapidly, and his so-called fight or flight instincts were activated.

He chose to flee, so he flew further away from Loki, increasing the distance between them. When he became comfortable with the amount of distance between them, he finally spoke.

He said to Loki, ”My Dao Lord has a deal for you. They said that if you kill more rank 8 divine beings from the Four Directions Sect and the Martial Body Sect, they will help you advance your large world into a super world.”

In response, Loki shook his head and said, ”Forget about helping my large world to become a super world. I want her to give me divine crystals.”

He had stopped toying with the seer like a cat toying with a rat and had become very serious. After all, this matter was important to him. Besides, he wasn’t actually interested in eating Monarch Truth and False anymore.

He couldn’t eat the rank 8 seer in the previous time loop because he was too busy, but now he couldn’t eat the rank 8 seer because he was still busy with important things, because he didn’t need to eat the seer, and because he couldn’t keep the Cave Heaven he devoured once the time loop restarted.

While he had become serious, Monarch Truth and False were having a problem with the request. The seer didn’t know what a divine crystal was and had never heard about it before, so he was confused by Loki’s request.
