Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 542: Chapter 542: You Are Just Being Dramatic

”What do you want to do?” An Hao was a bit worried.

Although Feng Chunhua was annoying, after all, she was a military spouse, and Yang Dahe and Qin Jian were colleagues who saw each other often. If she decided to deal with her, she definitely needed to measure her actions carefully.

”Do unto others as they have done to you!” Gu Shuangshuang said through gritted teeth, ”Tomorrow when she has diarrhea, I’ll lock her in the toilet too.”

”Isn’t that a bit difficult? How will you know when she’s going to have diarrhea?” An Hao said with a laugh.

”I’m so angry. Do you know that? I almost did it in my pants. If that had happened, I would have been too embarrassed to show my face,” Gu Shuangshuang said, on the verge of tears.

Anyway, she couldn’t swallow this insult!

”Alright. But we must wait for the right opportunity. After all, we’re on a military base; it’s not good to just act recklessly, right?” An Hao was cautious.

Gu Shuangshuang felt what An Hao said was right, though she felt aggrieved, she decided to suppress her anger for the time being.

After leaving the infirmary, Gu Shuangshuang already felt much better.

Having missed both breakfast and lunch, her stomach was completely empty.

Having been through so much, and with it nearly being noon, she decided to go to the cafeteria to eat with Gu Shuangshuang.

Qin Jian had left her a note in the morning, telling her to come over earlier for lunch.

An Hao and Gu Shuangshuang went downstairs, both preparing to eat at the cafeteria.

They hadn’t gone far when they came across Feng Chunhua and two other military spouses, whom she didn’t really know.

Since those women were quite a bit older, during meals they only nodded and greeted each other in passing.

The two military spouses were about the same age as Feng Chunhua and had also come from the countryside. In that era, many of these officers were from humble beginnings, gained recognition in the wars, and then climbed up the ranks step by step through their own efforts.

Therefore, their wives were also girls from the same villages.

An Hao was also a village girl, just younger and more forward-thinking than them.

Since they had all seen each other at dinner the day before, An Hao took the initiative to greet them: ”Hello, sisters.”

Seeing An Hao take the initiative to greet them, the two military spouses replied with a smile, ”Hello, you too. Are you going to the cafeteria for a meal?”

”Yes,” An Hao said with a smile, nodding her head, ”Sisters, my friend and I will go ahead, see you at the cafeteria in a bit.”

After speaking, An Hao turned to leave.

But she was stopped by Feng Chunhua, ”An Hao, why do you discriminate when greeting people? There are three of us standing here, and you didn’t even glance at me. What do you mean by that?

”Why are you so affected? Even a greeting is a problem for you. Who do you think you are? The Jade Emperor or the Queen Mother of the West? You’re just a troublemaker!” Gu Shuangshuang couldn’t stand Feng Chunhua, An Hao had reservations and there were things she couldn’t say.

She didn’t hold back at all and said whatever she wanted.

Feng Chunhua’s eyes widened as she began to speak but was cut off by An Hao with a laugh, ”Sorry about that. Shuangshuang is not in a good mood. Sister Chunhua, this is partly your fault. I mean, you spend nearly ten minutes in the restroom and don’t come out. Shuangshuang had diarrhea and was almost suffocated. Look, on the train, you were unhappy with us and made a fuss, and now that we’re at the base, Sister, please don’t hold a grudge over that incident.”

After finishing speaking, An Hao, chuckling, pulled Gu Shuangshuang along and moved forward.

”Hey, Chunhua, you met on the train? What all happened?”

”Did you make it difficult for this young lady?”

Feng Chunhua, hearing these words, was so angry she felt like her lungs were about to explode: ”These two little vixens! Not a single nice word comes out of their mouths.”
