Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 491: Chapter 491: An Incredible Secret

When she woke up again, Xu Yinuo was lying in the dormitory. An Hao and Gu Shuangshuang were sitting on the bed opposite her, talking.

”An Hao, I’m really sad. I never expected that Yinuo, who grew up with me, would change like this because of me. I originally wanted to apply for Military Medical University, and she said she hoped to come with me. I happily agreed, looking forward to our future together. But now...”

An Hao took Gu Shuangshuang’s hand to comfort her, ”This isn’t your fault! Everyone has their own choices. You don’t need to blame yourself for this, you didn’t force her to come with you. If you want to help her, just help her build confidence! I think she is too self-deprecating! Only when she becomes confident, can she be outstanding too!”

Hearing An Hao’s words, Xu Yinuo couldn’t hold back any longer. She jumped up from the bed and pointed at An Hao’s nose, shouting, ”You’re confident! It’s always you who is confident! You’re a sunflower! And I’m just a little weed! What does my inferiority have to do with you! An Hao, don’t think you’re better than me, and that you can evaluate me like this, making conclusions about me!”

”Yinuo! How can you be so ungrateful! You are self-deprecating! An Hao is absolutely right, you need to overcome this issue, in order to establish...”

”You, shut up!” Xu Yinuo roared at Gu Shuangshuang, ”You traitor have no right to lecture me!”

After speaking, she opened her closet and stuffed her clothes into it haphazardly, grabbed her bag, and ran out.

”Xu Yinuo, where are you going?” Seeing her acting as if she had lost her sense at all, An Hao was worried she would get into trouble, so she quickly went to stop her.

”Get out of my way!” Xu Yinuo pushed An Hao to one side and left with her backpack.

...........................

Xu Yinuo took a leave of absence for three days.

Instead of going home, she went to a small hotel, closed the doors and windows, and isolated herself from the world for three days.

On the weekend evening, she wandered alone outside the school gate, looking at the bright lights in the classrooms.

She entered the school gate, sat down next to the holly flower bed near the anatomy building, and gazed at those lit classrooms, feeling as if her heart was being torn apart.

The campus was very quiet when suddenly came the sound of vomiting, along with a few scattered voices.

”How is it? Do you feel better after throwing up?”

”Yes. Much better. But, I still feel nauseous... ugh...”

This voice sounded very familiar to Xu Yinuo. She stood up and squinted into the darkness, only to see An Hao leaning over and vomiting profusely at the corner of the anatomy building, while the person standing beside her was none other than Teacher Yan Ye.

What vomiting? Nauseous?

In an instant, Xu Yinuo felt as if she had discovered some earth-shattering secret. She widened her eyes and pricked up her ears, trying hard to hear exactly what they were talking about.

Teacher Yan Ye, who was standing behind An Hao, saw that she was vomiting out stomach acid, and wanted to rub her back to help, but An Hao stopped him, ”Teacher Yan Ye, thank you! However, you don’t need to bother with me anymore, you should go teach. Everyone is waiting for you.”

Teacher Yan Ye looked at An Hao, who was full of wariness, and his mouth twitched slightly, ”What? Are you afraid that your Qin Jian will see?”

”It’s always bad to cause misunderstandings.”

”Alright. I’ll pay attention in the future,” Teacher Yan Ye stepped back a little and then spoke calmly to her, ”Just now, I only saw you as my student and patient, and I had no other thoughts.”

”I know,” An Hao frowned painfully and held her stomach, ”As they say, gossip is something to be feared, Teacher Yan Ye, I think you understand...”
