Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 482: Chapter 482 Frolic and Horseplay

An Hao was studying medicine and had a regular menstrual cycle, so she naturally knew when her safe period was and when it wasn’t.

Therefore, the fact that they hadn’t gotten pregnant yet wasn’t due to any physical issue, but rather a deliberate choice on the part of the daughter-in-law.

No wonder!

”An Hao, it might be a bit early for me to ask this question now, but I want to ask you when do you plan to have children with Qin Jian?” Zhang Yun asked An Hao as she stopped.

Qin Jian had mentioned this issue to her before.

Although it was the first time Zhang Yun spoke with An Hao, she knew without needing to say it that Zhang Yun was definitely urging them to have children.

An Hao was just about to say that she hadn’t considered it yet, but before she could speak up, Qin Jian came over, ready to take her for a walk.

Hearing his mother say this, Qin Jian spoke for An Hao, ”Mom, this matter can’t be rushed! An Hao has her studies, and we’re not planning to have children for the time being.”

”Oh~” The light of expectation in Zhang Yun’s eyes gradually dissipated, ”Alright, I was just asking, no other meaning. Do you want to wait for An Hao to go out?”

”Yeah. We’re going for a walk.”

”Then you two should go. I’ll take care of the rest,” Zhang Yun said, pushing An Hao out the door.

When the two of them returned from their walk, it was already late.

Ning Yibin and his wife had already gone inside to rest. When they returned upstairs, An Hao tidied up Qin Jian’s clothes, packing what needed to be packed to avoid leaving anything behind in a rush.

After tidying up, the two of them lay in bed, chatting in each other’s arms.

Qin Jian knew that An Hao was in her ’dangerous period’, where intimacy could easily lead to pregnancy. He respected his wife’s wishes and didn’t make any excessive moves, just holding her and talking about the days to come.

”After I go to the Northwest, you need to take good care of yourself. If you’re busy with schoolwork, there’s no need for you to run back and forth every day,” Qin Jian said softly, holding her hand.

”Mmm. I really don’t want you to go.”

”I don’t want to go either. But it’s okay, you have two long vacations a year, and I can come back to visit in between! Besides, there are telephones in the military. I’ll call you regularly.”

”Okay.” An Hao turned over and looked at Qin Jian, saying, ”You have to keep your word, don’t deceive me. Also, you’ve always had a lot of admirers, and now that I won’t be by your side, you need to be even more steadfast. Always remember that you have a wife, and keep all those unwanted admirers at bay... or else...”

”Or else what?” Qin Jian propped up his head and half his body, looking at her.

”Or else, I won’t let you off the hook.” An Hao put on a fierce expression and made a threatening remark.

”How will you not let me off the hook?” Qin Jian found her appearance adorable and couldn’t help saying one more sentence to tease her, ”Are you going to dare to kill me perhaps?”

An Hao curled her lips, ”I won’t be able to kill you! But if you dare to get involved with any rotten peach blossoms, I promise I’ll leave you! By then, I’ll pack my things and leave by myself.”

As soon as Qin Jian heard An Hao say this, his brows frowned, ”You dare! You can’t have that idea!”

”If you really do get involved with rotten peach blossoms, you still wouldn’t allow me to leave you?” An Hao looked up at him, her eyes wide.

”I won’t have any rotten peach blossoms, and you’re not allowed to leave me,” Qin Jian’s eyes emitted a dangerous gleam, ”If that’s the case, I might as well make you the mother of my child now! By then, having a little one to hold you back for me, I’d like to see where you could run!”

After speaking, Qin Jian pounced on An Hao, and the two of them playfully tussled in bed.

The bed creaked and groaned, its sounds passing through the aged wooden floor to the downstairs, where the insomniac Zhang Yun, hearing the noise, suddenly widened her eyes even more!
