Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 472: Chapter 472: Endure and it will get better

”Hmm.” An Hao rolled over lazily, remembered she hadn’t boiled water for washing up, and tried to muster the strength to get up, ”You rest for a while, I’ll go boil some hot water.”

”I’ll do it.” Qin Jian got up and went to the kitchen. In no time, he came back with a basin full of water, ”The fire’s strong, it boiled quickly! Come on, let’s wash up.”

”Okay.” As An Hao got out of bed, Qin Jian had already squeezed toothpaste on the toothbrush and placed it on the enamel basin, with towels and soap also prepared.

Seeing how meticulously Qin Jian took care of her, An Hao felt touched, but couldn’t help teasing him, ”Seems like marrying an older guy isn’t too bad— at least he knows how to pamper one!”

Qin Jian gave her a look, ”Do you not know if I am ’old’ or not? If you’re not sure, I don’t mind showing you ’in practice’ tonight.”

”You’re equivocating.” An Hao chided him lightly and got down from the bed to wash up.

The footbath water was steaming hot, perfect for relieving fatigue.

After soaking her feet, An Hao was about to put on her shoes and come out when Qin Jian scooped her up and set her directly on the warm kang (heated bed), ”Just wait for me.”

”Stop it... You’re too energetic. Can’t we take a break for a day?” An Hao took off her coat and, wearing a sweater, began warming up the bed.

”Where did your mind go?” Qin Jian glanced at her expressionlessly and said lightly, ”I meant wait for me to massage your legs and help you relax! What did you think?”

”I...”

”Oh~ So you’re the one who desires that more... Actually, you could just say so directly, no need to beat around the bush. No matter how tired I am, I’ll satisfy you first.” Qin Jian, with a cheeky face, slowly uttered the shameless words.

”Pfft! What are you making me out to be?” An Hao’s face turned red, and she turned over and lay down, ignoring him.

After Qin Jian finished washing up and tidied up, he sat on the edge of the kang and began massaging An Hao, ”Tired, aren’t you? Let me help you relax all over.”

”Can you do it?” An Hao was skeptical.

”Of course. In the army, after a whole day of training, our muscles would be tense, and the methods the medic taught us to relax our muscles work wonders. You just need to lie down and relax.”

”Really?”

”Hmm.”

”Alright, let’s do it.”

An Hao obediently lay down on the bed, waiting for Qin Jian to massage her, ”Start with the legs. After standing all day, that’s the most uncomfortable part. Then the waist.”

”Okay.”

Qin Jian began to knead her legs, and An Hao’s already sore legs, when pressed strongly by Qin Jian’s hands, felt... indescribably uncomfortable.

An Hao couldn’t hold back and cried out, ”Ah... Mmm... It hurts to death... Be gentle.”

”Being gentle won’t work. The pressure must be just right to quickly relieve fatigue,” Qin Jian said as he sped up his movements.

That sour, bloated, aching feeling was really...

Unable to bear it any longer, An Hao shouted, ”Enough, enough! I can’t take it anymore!”

”Bear with it a bit longer. It will feel better soon.”

”I can’t. Oh, it’s so uncomfortable... Please, I feel so much better now, isn’t that enough?”

”Be good. Just a bit more.”

In the yard, An Ping had just finished eating pepper-fried meat and was completely satisfied. Indeed, his older sister treated him the best.

Thinking about how he had treated his older sister that afternoon made him feel quite guilty.

An Ping was about to go apologize to An Hao when, just as he reached the window, he overheard a conversation that made him blush and his heart race. He was so shocked he couldn’t move a step.
