Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 453: Chapter 453 Spitting Blood

”I will accompany you well during this holiday,” Qin Jian said as he held An Hao’s hand gently and kissed it, then let go of her hand to pick up his rice bowl and guzzled down a small bowl of porridge.

After dinner, the two of them washed up and headed upstairs early.

As he lay in bed, Qin Jian saw An Hao’s arms, white as tender lotus roots, and her curvaceous body, which triggered a surge of hormones within him, making him yearn for intimacy with her. He was now somewhat insatiable, having tasted the sweetness of love.

An Hao, who had been greatly exhausted by his activities just the day before, was tired and originally did not want to engage with him.

But then she thought, since they might not see each other for a long time after the New Year, she did not want Qin Jian to suffer too much.

So, biting her teeth, she agreed.

The two of them agreed to do it just this once!

Once it was decided, the encounter lasted quite a while. An Hao began to doubt whether her frail body could withstand Qin Jian’s almost frenzied demands.

After the extreme pleasure, the two gradually calmed down.

Qin Jian wrapped his arms around An Hao’s waist ready to sleep when she suddenly remembered the incident with Qin Feng from earlier that day, ”Qin Jian, I ran into Qin Feng at lunch.”

”Was it when you left midway through?” Qin Jian asked.

”Yeah.” An Hao shifted a bit to find a comfortable position in his arms, ”Qin Feng is pregnant, she came to borrow money for an abortion.”

”Pregnant?” Qin Jian’s brows furrowed into a knot, ”She’s pregnant without being married? Who’s the child’s father?”

An Hao recounted the day’s events to Qin Jian, whose face turned dark with anger, ”Qin Feng’s lazy and gluttonous character was bound to lead to trouble eventually. An Hao, you did right, you absolutely shouldn’t lend her money! In a few days when we go back for a visit, we must deal with this matter properly.”

”How do you want to deal with this?”

”I will assess Song Fei. If he is a dependable man, then Qin Feng should marry him. We can’t let her continue to act recklessly.”

”Okay. I support you! Oh, there’s another thing I must tell you.”

”Yeah, tell me,” Qin Jian sat up straight, listening attentively.

”I heard from Qin Feng that a few days ago... Qin Family’s dad vomited blood.” An Hao shared her concern, ”Qin Feng said it was because we got married, but I think there’s more to it. There are many diseases that can cause vomiting of blood, and from my analysis, he’s constantly smoking, so it’s very likely a lung problem. Like: tuberculosis, bronchiectasis, and another disease that strikes fear into people... lung cancer.”

Qin Jian grew much more somber after her words and fell silent for a while before making a decision, ”Let’s go back tomorrow and check on his condition, taking him to the hospital for an examination before the New Year still has a few days to come.”

”Okay. I’ll follow your lead.”

...............

The next day, Qin Jian and An Hao got up early, planning to go back for a visit and stay for a couple of days before returning.

As soon as she heard they were returning to the Qin Family, Zhang Yun became upset, ”Is it necessary to go back there?”

Unable to let go of her grudge, she couldn’t accept Qin Jian getting close to the Qin Family.

Qin Jian explained Qin Ru Hai’s condition to Zhang Yun.

Zhang Yun fell silent for a long time before reluctantly agreeing, ”If that’s the case, you should go. Although I hate the Qin Family, after all, they raised you for thirty years, and now that he is seriously ill, it’s only right that you should visit. I won’t stop you.”

Ning Yibin, seeing Zhang Yun’s response, nodded in agreement, ”Go ahead. Let’s not talk about the past for now. You are a child who values relationships, and I’m glad to see that.”

”Thank you, Mom and Dad!” Qin Jian knew they had made their greatest concession.

Just as the two of them were about to leave, Zhang Yun caught up with them and handed something over to Qin Jian, ”Wait. Give this to the Qin Family.”
