Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 629: Grandmaster Rank Alchemist

ʼThis capital city is truly magnificent and beautiful!ʼ That was what Yuhe and the others thought as soon as they arrived at the Natural Raceʼs royal capital.

Despite the beauty of their fairy forest in the Sky Jade Realm, they felt it fell short of the grandeur of the royal capital of the Natural Race. Furthermore, the diversity of races living there surpasses that of their forest, including pixies, giants, druids, nymphs, and several others.

Even the elves in the city were divided into two: one was an ordinary elf like Elmyra, and the other was a high elf like Xian Jinglan and her parents.

Xian Jinglan then asked them. ”Are you all willing to stay at the royal palace?”

They exchanged glances for a moment before Yuhe answered Xian Jinglan. ”Please forgive us, Princess. We are accustomed to living in the forest with our raceʼs members, so the atmosphere of the kingdom is unfamiliar to us. Moreover, we need to inform our leader about the current situation in this kingdom, so we plan to stay in town and observe it.”

”If you guys want it that way, I wonʼt force you to stay in the royal palace. Instead of staying in an inn, I will take you to a house that is rarely used.” Xian Jinglan then led them towards a house a little away from the hustle and bustle of the city. ”For the time being, you can stay in this house, and you can look at the buildings in this town. If you find a suitable building, and Zhang Fei agrees with it, then you can contact me directly, and I will take care of everything.”

”Thank you, Princess.”

Once the house guard led Yuhe and the others into the house, Xian Jinglan immediately turned to Aqua and inquired. ”Shall we go to the palace?”

”Haha.” Aqua laughed softly. ”Itʼs been years since I came to this capital, and I havenʼt seen your parents for a long time, so Iʼll visit them now.”

”They must be happy with your arrival, Miss Aqua.”

”Jinglan, Iʼll go back to my house first, or my mother will nag at me.”

After Xi Xianzi left, Xian Jinglan led Aqua to the royal palace. ”How do you know them?”

”Yuhe is an undine like me, and she can sense my underwater city. She chose to explore underwater, but the barrier of my city drew her in. She has been living with me ever since, and she took me to meet her friends three days ago.” Aqua then asked Xian Jinglian. ”Who exactly is Zhang Fei? Iʼve never heard them mention his name before, so I was surprised to hear them acknowledge him as their leader.”

”According to my father, Zhang Fei is a heavenly fox.” Xian Jinglanʼs answer surprised Aqua. ”At first, I didnʼt believe it, but he already showed his heavenly fox form when I met him at the Star Tower. His cultivation is in the 2-Star Earth Realm, yet his strength surpasses it, and his speed surpasses that of cultivators in the Seven Divine Realms. Even if my father uses his top speed and wind law, he may not be able to keep up with his speed.”

”Are you serious about that? How can a cultivator at the ten mortal realms surpass your fatherʼs speed?” Aqua asked in disbelief.

”I donʼt know how Zhang Fei trained his strength and speed, but thatʼs the truth. He managed to defeat Zhou Fang in the battle challenge, even though his opponentʼs cultivation had reached the 1-Moon Divine Transcend Realm.” Xian Jinglanʼs statement left Aqua in a daze. ”Anyway, the situation in the Star Tower is much different from the past, and we met many strange beasts inside. According to him, those strange beasts are chimeras, and they are the creation of humans.”

Aqua turned to Xian Jinglan in shock. ”How is it possible for humans to create beasts?”

”I donʼt know how they created the beasts, but they combined several different kinds of beasts to create them.” Xian Jinglan then touched Aquaʼs forehead and shared her memories of when they fought the last boss in the maze challenge, which shocked the female undine.

”There were several other beasts in there, but that last beast was truly powerful. Even Prince Long Chen and Prince Long Tian, who were pure dragons, were unable to approach the beast. Fortunately, Zhang Fei could get close to it and lead us to defeat it, or we would have failed the challenge.”

Aqua nodded as she thought. ”No one has yet managed to unravel the mystery behind the sudden appearance of the Star Tower in our realm. Many challenges within are too dangerous, but many of the rewards are valuable for us.”

”Yes.” Xiang Jinglan then told her something else. ”Somehow, I feel that Zhang Fei already knew about the mystery of the Star Tower, but he did not share it with us, and he only shared it with the group from the Xian Kingdom, especially since he was part of them.”

”Are you sure about that?” Xian Jinglan nodded to Aqua. ”Is that your fatherʼs reason for wanting to establish a relationship with Zhang Fei?”

”No.” Xian Jinglan denied it with a shake of her head. ”Have you ever heard of the ten-tailed fox?”

”Yes.”

Xian Jinglan then continued. ”The ten-tailed fox is the most powerful fox among all the fox races, but he died a long time ago, and his successor is the heavenly fox race. Since then, there has never been a fox that can evolve into the ten tails, but my father guessed that Zhang Fei had a chance to evolve into one in the future. I donʼt know where his guess came from, but he was confident about it.”

”Is there anything else you havenʼt told me about Zhang Fei?”

Xian Jinglan turned to Aqua with a smile. ”Why do you think that?”

”Hey! Iʼve known your father long before he married your mother, so I know more or less about his character, and he wouldnʼt have guessed like that without a reason.” Aqua then asked. ”So what are you hiding from me about Zhang Fei?”

”Zhang Fei has three different identities.” Aqua responded to Xian Jinglan with a raised eyebrow. ”He is a human, a heavenly fox, and a lust demon. Thatʼs why my father believed in his guess, and he wanted to establish a good relationship with him, especially since he believed that he would be a bringer of peace for all races.”

Aqua was completely shocked after hearing about Zhang Feiʼs three identities, but Xian Jinglanʼs expression was so convincing. ”If he really has three identities, I think your fatherʼs guess about him is correct. I have lived for tens of thousands of years, and I have explored many realms, including the lower, middle, and upper realms. However, this is the first time Iʼve heard of a living being with three different identities, and he may be able to bring peace to all races.”

”The universe is in chaos, with war and bloodshed continuing to occur in all realms, so I hope that someone will bring peace back one day, and Zhang Fei might be the chosen one.” Before long, they had arrived at the royal palace, and Aqua went to meet Xian Lianghua and Xue Jingling. However, Xian Jinglan did not join her, and she went to her private quarters to prepare for the breakthrough.

After flying for a few hours using their fastest flying artifact, Guo Xuehua and her family arrived at the Xian royal capital. Instead of landing at the Xian palace as usual, they landed at the north gate of the city.

The guards of the north gate naturally recognized their identities, but they were confused about their reason for landing outside the city, so one of them hurriedly reported their arrival to their emperor and empress.

Guo Xuehua ignored them, stored the flying artifact, and led her family into the capital. Along the way, the townspeople seemed confused by their presence, but they hurriedly opened the way for them.

A while later, they had arrived in front of the Sky Jade Shop, and Guo Xuehua led them inside.

However, Yun Xinyue raised an eyebrow as soon as she saw Zhang Lingxue, Chu Ying, and Chu Qing. From their beauty, which was on par with Boitataʼs and the others, she could immediately guess that they were Zhang Feiʼs wives.

Li Yao was also surprised to see Zhang Lingxue and the Chu sisters, and their beauty made her jealous. Like women in general, she wanted to be beautiful like them so she could please her husband.

Unlike other men, Yun Aoxian only glanced at the three women. He immediately turned his gaze away again and pulled his wife towards the pile of mattresses.

The three women also recognized them, especially since Zhang Fei had told them about them. Zhang Lingxue immediately approached Guo Xueha and Yun Xinyue. ”What can I do for you two, Empress Guo and Princess Yun?”

”Are you three Zhang Feiʼs wives?” Guo Xuehua inquired as she peered at the Chu Sisters.

”Yes.” Zhang Lingxue introduced them to Guo Xuehua. ”My name is Zhang Lingxue, and my two sisters are Chu Ying and Chu Qing.”

”The three of you are truly beautiful.” Guo Xuehua then looked around the store. ”I came here because Sister Qingzhuang told me about those mattresses, and I need quite a lot of them for our palace. Do you have enough stock of that item?”

”How many mattresses do you need, Empress Guo?”

”A hundred.”

Zhang Lingxue was surprised by that, especially since she didnʼt know the size of the Yun Palace, and Shi Qingzhuang didnʼt buy that much for the Xian Palace. ”Mattresses are the best-selling item in our shop since we opened, and we only have a hundred at the moment, so we canʼt sell them to you. However, we can prepare them specifically for you, but you have to wait some time.”

”Iʼm not in a hurry, so prepare them first, and Iʼll look at the other items.” Zhang Lingxue sent a voice transmission to Zhang Fei, who immediately sent one of his clones back to Earth to buy them. She then led Guo Xuehua and Yun Xinyue to look at the other items. ”Where is your husband now?”

”My husband has been concocting a pill in the back room since morning, but he still hasnʼt succeeded in concocting it.”

Zhang Lingxueʼs answer initially surprised Guo Xuehua, but she quickly recalled the issues between them and the alchemy union. ”Are all the pills in this shop concocted by the two of you?”

Zhang Lingxue shook her head before explaining. ”My husband started learning alchemy about a month ago, so I concocted most of the pills in this shop, and he got the rest from his friends.”

”I see.” Guo Xuehua nodded in understanding. ”What is your alchemist rank?”

”According to my master, my alchemist rank is a king rank, and my master is an ancestor rank alchemist.”

”Oh?” Guo Xuehua was surprised. ”You are still young, but your alchemist rank is already quite high. No wonder Lian Jinshu wanted to bring you into his organization, but Zhang Fei has thwarted his plans.”

Zhang Lingxue smiled upon hearing that. ”We are everything to my husband, and he will do anything to protect us. Thatʼs why he did not hesitate to fight Lian Jinshu and his organization, and my master also helped us to suppress them.”

”Does that mean your master has a higher status than the alchemy union? Otherwise, your master wouldnʼt be able to suppress them, right?” Guo Xuehua curiously asked, particularly considering that no alchemist had ever succeeded in suppressing the alchemy union; even the kingdoms within their realm were obligated to adhere to their rules.

”You can say it like that, Empress Guo.”

Yun Xinyue suddenly asked. ”Sister Lingxue, your master is Sister Feng Yao, right? I previously witnessed her teaching Zhang Fei how to concoct a pill in the Star Tower, so I thought she was your master.”

”You are right, Princess Yun.” Zhang Lingxue replied with a nod. ”Big Sis Yao is indeed my master in alchemy, and as you already know, she came from the upper realms, so it is not difficult for her to suppress the alchemy union.”

”How did you meet her?” Guo Xuehua asked Zhang Lingxue.

”The story is too long, and it will be a waste of time to tell it.” Guo Xuehua did not ask further and listened to Zhang Lingxueʼs explanation of the other items, especially regarding the pills.

Li Yao appeared embarrassed when her husband led her to the sex toy counter. Although she had never seen such items before, she could guess their uses based on their shapes. ʼDo you intend to buy them, husband?ʼ

ʼHmm?ʼ Yun Aoxian rubbed his chin as he looked at some sex toys. ʼAre you interested in trying them, wife? If you are interested, we will buy some of them, and we can try them out when we get back.ʼ

As Li Yao imagined her husband using those sex tools on her, her face turned completely red, but she didnʼt deny her attraction to some of them. ʼYou can buy some of them, but I donʼt want to use the tools that look like your dick. Additionally, I forbid you from purchasing that female doll, and you are only allowed to do it with me!ʼ

ʼHahaha.ʼ Yun Aoxian laughed bitterly, as he had not considered using the dildo or vibrator with his wife, nor was he interested in having sex with a doll. ʼWhat if we buy those costumes? Some of them look good on you, so Iʼd like to see you in them, and youʼd look really hot in them.ʼ

ʼLet me choose some of them, and you can choose those tools.ʼ Li Yao immediately went to the costume row on the side, and Yun Aoxian chose some sex toys.

Yun Xinyue, who saw the two of them from a distance, patted his forehead. The arrangement of the sex toys in front of her big brother made her blush, but she immediately ran over to her sister-in-law and startled her from behind. ʼDo you really want to wear these weird clothes when doing that with my big brother?ʼ

ʼTch!ʼ Li Yaoʼs lips quirked as she picked up a nurseʼs costume from the shelf. ʼHonestly, I would feel strange wearing them, but these clothes, especially this one, look interesting. Furthermore, your older brother enjoys seeing me wear them, which is why Iʼm considering purchasing some. If youʼre married, itʼs important to fulfill your husbandʼs requests, as long as they donʼt ask for excessively strange things.ʼ

ʼWell, thatʼs true.ʼ Yun Xinyue then assisted Li Yao in selecting them, and she considered purchasing some for herself.

Chu Qing, who was watching the two princesses from a distance, wanted to approach them. However, Chu Ying immediately stopped her, especially since it would only embarrass them.

Guo Xuehua, who was listening to Zhang Lingxueʼs explanation, repeatedly glanced at her daughter and daughter-in-law. However, she shook her head when she saw her son choosing some sex toys, but she didnʼt stop him because he was an adult and a husband.

”Hmm?” Guo Xuehua suddenly turned her head towards the back room, especially after she smelled the faint scent of pills. ”It seems that Zhang Fei is about to finish his pills.”

”Yes.” Zhang Lingxue nodded at her. ”Actually, my husband has concocted the pills several times, but he was not satisfied with the results, as their grades were only normal and intermediate. Therefore, he kept trying to refine them to get a superior grade.”

Guo Xuehua nodded in understanding. ”From the first time I met him, I could see that he had high ambitions, so I wasnʼt surprised that he wanted to get the best results.”

As soon as the notification appeared, Zhang Fei immediately withdrew his flames and opened the lid of his alchemy furnace, taking out three pills inside. ”Phew! After I repeatedly concocted it, I finally succeeded in concocting this rank 3 bone mending pill to superior grade, and my alchemist rank should be a grandmaster rank now.”

Since Guo Xuehua and her family were in the shop, Zhang Fei immediately tidied up everything and stored the pills, then hurried to the front to meet them.
