Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 615: Killing Hu Gao - Hu Dong

Boitataʼs tail destroyed Hu Dahai and Hu Peiwuʼs barrier, causing both of them to spurt blood from their mouths. The two of them rushed to escape as soon as the dragon serpent flew towards them with her mouth wide open.

Seeing that Boitata suppressed Hu Dahai and Hu Peiwu, Hu Gaoʼs other subordinates moved to save the two from her. However, two women immediately moved in front of them and stopped them.

Hu Lili then asked them. ”Do you guys still not understand the situation? If you all move now, you will die by Boitataʼs hands.”

”Even if Boitata doesnʼt kill you, my master will kill you in even more cruel ways.” Hu Qiaomu added.

”Tch! You two are traitors! Hu Gao was our leader, but you betrayed him and sided with that bastard instead.” One of Hu Gaoʼs subordinates furiously shouted at the two women, and the others also started to mock them.

”Since they are stubborn, just let them do whatever they want, and they will pay the consequences themselves.” Hu Gaoʼs other subordinates looked at Xian Xianqin with a frown, but she immediately released a bit of her aura, causing all of them to feel a chill down their spine. ”Thatʼs just a small warning from me, and you guys can move if you want to die. Not only will you die, but everyone related to you, including your wife and children, will also perish with you.”

Hu Yue joined in speaking to them. ”If your loyalty to Hu Gao is more important than your lives and your families, we wonʼt stop you anymore. However, all of you should think things through carefully, or it will be too late for you to regret your decision.”

Hu Gaoʼs other subordinates took a breath and thought about their words seriously, especially since it was clear before their eyes that Xian Xianqin could kill them without her having to move from her spot. In the end, they decided to surrender because they didnʼt want to die, and they dispersed immediately.

Hu Qiaomu, Hu Lili, and Hu Yue were relieved by their decision. They then looked at Boitata, who was toying with Hu Dahai and Hu Peiwu. It was clear she could have beaten them from the start, but she deliberately tortured them slowly.

”Iʼll go to Feiʼs place.” Hu Yue hurried to follow Xian Xianqin as she was worried about Zhang Fei.

Hu Lili and Hu Qiaomu did not follow them, and they went to meet the other moon foxes who never sided with Hu Gao.

Zhang Fei casually stood in front of Hu Gao, who looked completely shocked. After all, the moon fox leaderʼs cultivation was much higher than his, but he couldnʼt stop him from separating him from his subordinates, and he could feel that the strength of his grip was extremely strong.

ʼThis bastard!ʼ Hu Gao gritted his teeth, transformed into his half-fox form, and moved toward Zhang Fei. He swung his fox claws at him, but his attacks penetrated his illusion.

A black ball shot toward Hu Gao while he was in shock, but he quickly returned to his senses and dodged it straight away, causing it to hit the area behind him.

”Youʼre too slow.” Hu Gao was once again shocked after hearing the voice behind him, but Zhang Fei didnʼt give him a chance to react. He grabbed one of his tails and threw him downwards, causing the moon foxʼs leader to hurtle towards the ground at high speed.

Hu Gao was still an experienced cultivator, so he immediately stabilized himself and stomped his feet to stop himself just before his body hit the ground. Suddenly, a dark Qi-covered black halberd shot towards him, but he countered it with a ball of light Qi that emerged from his mouth, leading to a collision between the two.

*Boom*

Their impact threw the black halberd upwards, but Zhang Fei immediately grabbed it and dove towards Hu Gao, thrusting it towards the moon foxʼs leader.

Hu Gao immediately protected his body with his light qi before flying upwards. He then turned his five tails into swords and thrust them toward Zhang Fei.

Zhang Fei simply smiled as he watched, but his black halberd vanished, replaced by the moonlit whisper sword, and he quickly parried Hu Gaoʼs attacks before turning behind him.

”Hiss!” Hu Gao hissed in pain as Zhang Fei cut one of his tails, causing blood to flow out of the severed tail and forcing him to move away. He immediately used the light Qi to stop the bleeding, keeping his eyes fixed on the sword in his hand. ʼBastard! How could his sword possibly penetrate my qi protection?ʼ

Hu Gao tensed up the moment Zhang Fei disappeared from his sight, and he increased the thickness of his protective qi after he realized that his sword was not an ordinary sword. Moreover, he could not see his movements or feel his presence, even though he was stronger than him.

Without the moon foxʼs leader realizing it, Zhang Fei was already behind him with a faint smile on his face. He immediately slashed his sword, cutting off Hu Gaoʼs other four tails cleanly.

”Argh!” Hu Gao screamed in pain as he flew away, but Zhang Fei immediately moved before him with his right leg raised. ”Shit!”

Hu Gao crossed his arms in front of him as soon as Zhang Fei swung his leg at him, but it was not enough to block the impact of his attack. Instantly, the moon foxʼs leader was sent hurtling downward before slamming heavily into the ground, causing him to vomit quite a bit of blood from his mouth, and his blood also flowed profusely from his tails.

”Cough... Cough...” As he coughed loudly, Hu Gao looked at Zhang Fei, who was standing in the sky with a mocking smile on his face. ʼImpossible! How can his speed surpass mine with his low cultivation?ʼ

While Hu Gao was thinking, Zhang Fei had already moved in front of him and kicked him hard in the face, causing him to roll on the ground for a considerable distance.

Zhang Fei immediately moved in front of Hu Gao again, grabbed his head, threw him into the sky, and then slashed the sword in his hand toward him.

In an instant, several dark sword Qi shot toward Hu Gao, and they easily penetrated his protective Qi, slashing his body repeatedly and causing his body to bleed. ”Argh!”

Zhang Fei bullied Hu Gao for quite some time without intending to kill him, which resulted in the moon fox leaderʼs appearance becoming increasingly messy and his entire body covered in blood.

Xian Xianqin, who was watching their fight from a distance, could only shake her head. She was sure that Zhang Fei could defeat Hu Gao easily, but he was deliberately wasting time just to toy with him. ʼHis pride as a heavenly fox is too high, and he is deliberately toying with this weak fox.ʼ

Hu Yue had also arrived at the area, and she breathed a sigh of relief after she saw Zhang Fei had the upper hand on Hu Gao. However, she was also surprised by his developments, especially his speed, which overwhelmed her raceʼs leader.

After all, Hu Yue had never lived by Zhang Feiʼs side and had only heard about his actions from her motherʼs stories. Moreover, he was still much weaker than her at the time of their first meeting, and only a little over seven months had passed since then, but he was already able to fight and toy with Hu Gao to that extent.

”How do you feel about his progress?” Xian Xianqin asked Hu Yue. ”Fei has already told me about his first meeting with you, and his cultivation was still in the elementary realm at that time. Since then, he has been continuously improving himself to free you from this place, and he can now fight a cultivator in the sovereign realm without any difficulty.”

Hu Yue couldnʼt say anything in reply to Xian Xianqin, but the look in her eyes clearly showed that she was grateful and proud of Zhang Feiʼs development. Her heart was filled with happiness because they could finally be together, and she didnʼt have to wait a few more years for that.

Xian Xianqin smiled as she glanced at Hu Yue. ʼEven though their relationship is somewhat bland, she seems completely in love with him.ʼ

*Boom*

Hu Gao was slammed heavily on the ground before spitting out a lot of it again. His face was completely pale, and wounds covered his body. The Qi and Beast essences in his body had become extremely thin because Zhang Fei had absorbed them using his Beast Essence Absorption technique, leaving him in his weakest state.

As soon as Zhang Fei [1] appeared by his side, Hu Gaoʼs eyes widened in shock, especially since he was carrying Hu Dong with him. Moreover, his other three clones also appeared around them, shocking him further after he sensed that all of them were as real as his real body.

”Have you realized it?” Zhang Fei indifferently asked. ”I could have killed you from the start, but I deliberately stalled time because my clones needed time to destroy your barrier in your sonʼs cave, and he is in my hands now.”

”Father! Save me.” Hu Dong pleaded as his body trembled uncontrollably because Zhang Feiʼs clones had already sealed his cultivation, and he couldnʼt even fight them back before being captured by them. Unfortunately, Hu Gao was already too weak, and all the injuries on his body rendered him unable to do anything to help him.

Zhang Fei then brought Hu Dong down before his father, and he looked at Xian Xianqin, who immediately brought Hu Yue to their side. ”What are you going to do to them, Fei?”

”Do you still have to ask that, Qinʼer?” Zhang Fei then crouched down beside Hu Gao and touched his body. ”Anyone who dares to threaten any of my women or those closest to me must die, but he must remove his mark from Yueʼerʼs soul first before I kill him.”

ʼKid! Actually, you donʼt need to do anything else to this guy, and his mark will immediately disappear from everyoneʼs souls once you kill him.ʼ Ma Kuangyu suddenly spoke into Zhang Feiʼs mind.

Zhang Fei raised his eyebrows slightly. ʼIs that true, Old Ma?ʼ

ʼAbsolutely true.ʼ

ʼI see.ʼ Zhang Fei nodded in understanding. ”At first, I thought I had to control you to remove your mark from Yueʼerʼs soul, but it turned out I was wrong. Because I donʼt need you anymore, you can die now.”

After he said that, Zhang Fei immediately used his essence absorption technique to absorb Hu Gaoʼs remaining beast essence, causing his body to dry up before his death.

Hu Dong, who was in Zhang Fei [1]ʼs hands, was shaking violently after witnessing his fatherʼs death. He even peed his pants as soon as Zhang Fei stood in front of him. ”Please... spare me... I donʼt want to die...”

”Spare you?” Zhang Fei inquired as he touched Hu Dongʼs chest. ”Will you two spare Yueʼer if I lack the strength to save her? There is no such thing as mercy in my life, and I will kill anyone who becomes my enemy. Since your father is dead, you can follow him into the afterlife.”

”Argh!” Hu Dong immediately screamed in pain as soon as Zhang Fei used his essence absorption technique to absorb his beast essence. ”Argh! Please! Spare me! I donʼt want to die!”

Xian Xianqin and Hu Yue, who couldnʼt bear to see Zhang Feiʼs cruelty, immediately closed their eyes and ears. Their bodies trembled, knowing with certainty that Hu Dong would die from drying out, just like his father.

Before long, Hu Dongʼs body had completely dried up, and Zhang Fei immediately threw his corpse on top of his fatherʼs corpse.

[You gained 500,000 Beast Essence from a moon fox.]

”Phew.” After the notification appeared, Zhang Fei let out a sigh of relief. He immediately approached the two women, hugged their waists, and brought them to Hu Liliʼs place.

Meanwhile, Zhang Feiʼs four clones immediately went back to their respective places. Zhang Fei [1] returned to the capital of the Xian Kingdom to help Zhang Lingxue and the Chu Sisters in their shop. Feltia [2] went to the Netherworld Realm to join her partner and subordinates. Zhang Fei [4] returned to the northern region of the Sky Jade Realm to train the four female demons again. Zhang Fei [5] returned to Zhang Chenʼs house on Earth, continuing his forging.

When they arrived at Hu Liliʼs place, all the higher-ups of the moon fox races had gathered there, including Hu Gaoʼs followers.

Boitata was also there with a smile of joy on her face, especially after she had eaten Hu Peiwu and Hu Dahai alive. Her eyes kept glancing at the remains of Hu Gaoʼs followers, and she was eager to eat them. Unfortunately, Zhang Fei had forbidden her from eating them if they didnʼt fight her, so she refrained from doing so.

Zhang Feiʼs gaze caused the remnants of Hu Gaoʼs followers to tremble, as they genuinely feared that he might kill them. However, he ignored them and turned to Hu Yue. ”Has his mark disappeared from your soul?”

”Yes.” Hu Yue nodded to Zhang Fei. ”I immediately checked my soul after you killed Hu Gao and Hu Dong, and his mark has disappeared, so I can go with you now.”

Upon hearing that, the moon foxes immediately checked their souls, as Hu Gao had also implanted his mark in them. They all felt a sense of relief when they couldnʼt find his mark.

”Thatʼs good.” Zhang Fei then said to the moon foxes. ”From today on, all of you are free, and you can do whatever you like. However, I donʼt want you to cause trouble in the Sky Jade Realm, and I will kill all of you if you dare to do so.”

The moon foxes took a deep breath as they nodded to Zhang Fei. Hu Gao, who was the strongest among them, was unable to fight Zhang Fei and had already met his demise at his hands, not to mention those who were clearly weaker.

”Zhang Fei, you can take Yueʼer with you, and I will stay here to take care of my race.” Hu Lili suddenly spoke.

”No.” Zhang Fei immediately rejected Hu Lili, causing her to frown. ”Even though you are still not willing to be my woman, I have already regarded you as one, so you must stay by my side.”

ʼThis guy is really selfish! I already said I donʼt want to be his woman, but he keeps forcing his will on me!ʼ Hu Lili grumbled in her heart. ”They—”

”I donʼt care about them, and they can take care of themselves.” Zhang Fei immediately opened the portal to the training space, and he sent her along with the other three women into it. ”You can choose your new leader, and I will not interfere in the affairs of your race. However, you guys must always remember my words just now, especially since I have been watching over this realm.”

The moon foxes felt immense relief once Zhang Fei disappeared from their sight, but they still had a big problem because they no longer had a leader. Moreover, their two powerful elders had died at the hands of Boitata, and he took the other two away, so they had to choose a new leader to organize their race members quickly.

Zhang Fei had already entered the training space and was explaining the features to Hu Lili, Hu Yue, Hu Qiaomu, and Xian Xianqin. The four women were truly amazed by all the features, which made them realize the origin of his strength. The gravity feature shocked them greatly, especially since each level would increase by two times compared to the previous level.

”You guys can practice first, and Yueʼer will join you later.” Zhang Fei then took Hu Yue with him to the cloud mansion.

”You two donʼt need to mind them, and we should start practicing here to catch up with Fei.” Xian Xianqin spoke as she guided Hu Lili and Hu Qiaomu to the center of the area, but the three of them instantly fell due to the strong gravity in the area.
