Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 626: Meet Gang Zhishou Again

As soon as Xian Feng and Shi Qingzhuang appeared in the throne room, Yang Caojing relayed the information from Zhang Fei earlier to them.

Shi Qingzhuang directly spoke to her husband. ”I think Huangfu Lian ordered Xuan Cunhua and Ming Yunjie to do something to our daughter, but they didnʼt know that she was with Zhang Fei now. Since they planned that way, we can trap them by planting something in her room.”

”Yeah.” Soon, Old Feng appeared before them, and Xian Feng promptly elucidated the situation. ”Since Old Wen is on his way to the Bai Kingdom, I want you to take care of those two young women. However, you must avoid killing them, as their death could lead to conflict with the Black Fang Sect and the Venomous Serpent Sect.”

”Yes, Emperor.”

After Old Feng disappeared, Yang Caojing informed Xian Feng and Shi Qingzhuang about something else. ”Li Yiping and her two sons have already woken up, and they continued to scream hysterically after they discovered their condition. They also tried to commit suicide, but our people immediately stopped them.”

”Let them take care of those three.” Xian Feng and Yang Caojing immediately met the other ministers and discussed their plans for the Zhou and Huangfu Kingdoms.

Meanwhile, Shi Qingzhuang went to meet Xian Xianwu and Yao Yin, with whom she discussed the wedding preparations.

”Why are you daydreaming here, Xinyue? Are you thinking about Zhang Fei?” Guo Xuehua inquired as she approached her daughter, who was sitting alone on the garden bench.

Yun Xinyue immediately turned to her mother and denied it. ”I wasnʼt thinking about Zhang Fei; I was thinking about my brother. Since I came home, I havenʼt seen him, and he chased me away every time I tried to go into his room.”

”I know you are thinking about Qinghai, but you donʼt need to lie to me about Zhang Fei.” Guo Xuehua then sat beside her daughter. ”I was young once, and Iʼve experienced the feelings of falling in love for the first time. Moreover, Iʼve been paying attention to you for the past two days, so I can tell that youʼve been thinking about him.”

ʼTch! Itʼs no use lying to an old witch like my mother.ʼ Yun Xinyue muttered to herself as she pouted.

”Hehe.” Guo Xuehua chuckled as she pinched Yun Xinyueʼs lips. ”Sister Qingzhuang told me that Zhang Feiʼs shop has already opened, and he sells many unique items in it. I plan to go to the Xian Kingdom today, but your father is still busy with kingdom affairs. Therefore, you must accompany me to the Xian Kingdom, and you can meet him later.”

”Oh! Thatʼs right! I just remembered about that!” Yun Xinyue let out a soft cry. ”Xianqin told me and the others that she gave him a soft and comfortable mattress, so I want to buy one too. Moreover, I have never tasted the dishes at his restaurant, so I will accompany you there. However, you must coerce my brother to accompany us; otherwise, he may continue to shut himself in his room due to depression.”

”Letʼs meet your brother now.”

A while later, Yun Xinyue and Guo Xuehua arrived at Yun Qinghaiʼs room, only to find two other people waiting outside. ”Does he still not want to come out of his room, Aoxian and Yaoʼer?”

”We tried to persuade Qinghai, but he just chased us away, Mother.” Li Yao was the first to answer.

Yun Aoxian then asked his mother. ”Should I break into his room, Mother? He is a man and a prince, but he is too whiny just because of his failure at the tower. Back then, I also failed repeatedly, but I never whined like him. Moreover, his enemy was Zhou Tai, who was stronger than him, so he should be able to stand tall and accept his defeat.”

”Let me do it.” Guo Xuehua immediately walked to her second sonʼs bedroom door, pushed it open slightly, and went straight in. ”You guys wait here, and Iʼll talk to Qinghai first.”

Yun Xinyue moved to Li Yaoʼs side and hugged her arm. ”Would you like to join us, Sister-in-law? After this, weʼre going to the Xian Kingdom to see Zhang Feiʼs new shop and buy some things there. Additionally, our mother has mentioned that the dishes in his restaurant are delicious, so I am eager to try them.”

”Actually, your big brother and I have already planned to go there today, and we came here to invite Qinghai to join us.” Yun Xinyue laughed upon hearing that, but Li Yao then teased her. ”Why are you so excited to go there? Are you looking forward to seeing Zhang Fei again?”

ʼIf my mother is an old witch, then my sister-in-law is a young witch!ʼ Yun Xinyue then asked him. ”Do I look like I miss Zhang Fei?”

”Haha.” Li Yao laughed softly and pinched Yun Xinyueʼs nose. ”Did you think I didnʼt notice your behavior when we were still at the Star Tower? I donʼt know what happened between you and Zhang Fei there, but I can see that youʼve fallen in love with him. It started after he saved you from Bai Shouyiʼs poison, and you became much closer to him after the maze challenge. You even seemed jealous of Xian Xianqin, especially since she was so close to him.”

Yun Xinyue let out a heavy sigh as she couldnʼt control her behavior while at the Star Tower. ”You are right, Sister-in-law. I have indeed fallen in love with Zhang Fei, but I have not thought about becoming his lover.”

”What made you fall in love with him, Yinyue?” Yun Xinyue immediately told Yun Aoxian and Li Yao about the incident in the previous maze challenge. ”That guy is not bad, especially since he didnʼt take advantage of the adversity to do anything indecent to you and Xianqin, so Iʼm not surprised that you fell in love with him.”

”I also think that Zhang Fei is a good man.” Yun Xinyue replied with a nod. ”Unfortunately, he already has 19 wives and dozens of partners, so I feel hesitant to get closer to him, let alone become his lover. Xianqin might be able to accept his relationship, but I find it too messy, especially considering that some of his wives are his mother, big sister, and little sister. Some of his wives, such as Shen Xueyi and Shen Yu, are even mothers and daughters.

Yun Xinyueʼs revelation of Zhang Feiʼs messy relationship shocked Yun Aoxian and Li Yao. Although they were grateful for Zhang Feiʼs actions for their sister, they felt he was not worthy of being her husband.

*Crack*

The bedroom door suddenly opened, and Guo Xuehua walked out with Yun Qinghai, who looked disheveled.

”Brother! You are really stupid!” Yun Xinyue immediately shouted at her second brother. ”I know you are disappointed about your failure, but you failed because your opponent was stronger than you, so you shouldnʼt keep blaming yourself like this!”

”I—”

”All right, you donʼt need to scold your brother, Yinyue.” Guo Xuehua then led them to leave the place. ”Letʼs go; we will go to the Xian Kingdom now.”

”What about your Zheng Clan people?” Ximen Gongfu immediately inquired after his wifeʼs return.

”Some are on their way here and will join us at the Star Tower.” Zheng Moyue answered as she sat on her husbandʼs lap and kissed him briefly. ”I have ordered Zheng Qinwen and Zheng Yumin to infiltrate your big brotherʼs kingdom, and I am sure they will succeed in bringing Ximen Yueliang here.”

Ximen Gongfu naturally knew the two demonsʼ abilities. ”I trust their abilities, but you should tell them to be careful. Iʼm sure my brother will not leave his children unguarded, and he will probably leave Ximen Gui to protect them. That old demonʼs abilities cannot be underestimated, and our parents respect him very much. Unfortunately, he has a strong loyalty to my brother, making it difficult for me to convince him to side with me. If they do not exercise caution, they will undoubtedly meet their demise at his hands.”

”Iʼve already told them about him, so they wonʼt act rashly.” Zheng Moyue then put her arm around Ximen Gonfuʼs neck. ”Weʼre leaving in a few days, and weʼll be spending quite a long time in the tower, so I want to have some fun with you and Xian Hong. What do you think about that?”

Ximen Gonfu frowned for a moment before agreeing to his wifeʼs idea. ”Call him.”

Zheng Moyue happily called Xian Hong, and she immediately got off her husbandʼs lap before stripping off their clothes, leaving them both naked.

As Zheng Moyue began to serve her husband, Ximen Gongfu, Xian Hong walked into their room. Upon seeing Empress Zheng naked, he immediately became aroused and quickly stripped off his clothes before having a threesome.

A jet-black-haired old demon knelt before Ximen Changtian, who told him several things, including his plan to go to the Star Tower. ”Uncle Gui, I believe Ximen Gongfu and Zheng Moyue have already planned something to capture my daughter while we are away, so I hope you can stay in this castle for the time being specifically to protect her. If you see demons from the Dark Demon Kingdom or the Zheng Clan infiltrating our kingdom, you can kill them directly.”

”All right, I will protect Yueliang myself.” Ximen Gui then asked him. ”Are you sure your little brother wonʼt betray you in the tower?”

Ximen Changtian nodded before answering. ”I know my little brotherʼs character very well, and I know there is a possibility that he will betray me. Thatʼs why I have already prepared measures to protect myself and Huangjin, so you donʼt have to worry about us.

”Ximen Gongfu is extremely cunning, so you two must always be prepared to face any eventuality.” After he said that, Ximen Gui immediately stood up and left the throne room.

Nu Huangjin immediately informed her husband, ”Zheng Moyue has just returned from her Zheng Clan, and I learned that she ordered Zheng Qinwen and Zheng Yumin to capture our daughter.”

”As expected.” Ximen Changtian then stepped down from his throne and led his wife away. ”I must do something to protect our daughter.”

”Do you doubt Uncle Guiʼs ability to protect our daughter?” Nu Huangjin asked.

Ximen Changtian denied it with a shake of his head. ”I have always believed in Uncle Guiʼs ability, but there is no harm in preparing a backup plan to protect our daughter, right? Ximen Gongfu will successfully perfect his Eternal Abyss Arts if he gets his hands on our daughter, and we wonʼt be able to defeat him anymore if that happens, so I have to protect her as best as I can.”

”Yeah, youʼre right.”

Shortly after, they arrived in front of Ximen Yueliangʼs room, and Ximen Changtian immediately took out an item and dripped his blood on it, causing it to spread like a net and integrate into not only the door but also all the walls of the room. ”This way, they wonʼt be able to do anything to my daughter, and Uncle Gui can take care of them if they manage to get past my protection.”

Long Chen and Long Tian had returned three days ago, but Long Huang and Long Baiyun had just emerged from their brief seclusion, so they could only now share with them everything that had transpired at the Star Tower.

Long Huang nodded in understanding after listening to all their stories. ”I had guessed from the start that Zhang Fei would complete all the challenges on the first floor, so I deliberately asked the two of you to establish a good relationship with him. Unfortunately, the two of you did not have the chance to fight with him, so you were unable to find out your weaknesses.”

”Why do I feel like youʼre looking down on us, Father?” Long Tian asked in an annoyed tone.

”Hahaha.” Instead, Long Huang burst out laughing. ”Iʼm not looking down on you two, but you guys donʼt have a worthy opponent in our kingdom. Compared to all the beasts in our kingdom, Zhang Fei is far better than them, and he is the most worthy opponent for you two. Moreover, you guys have witnessed his action against the last boss in the maze challenge, so you should already understand the difference between you two and him.”

Long Tian could not refute that, especially since they would never have completed the maze challenge without Zhang Feiʼs help.

Long Chen then spoke to them. ”Father, Miss Feng Yao wants to train at the Huoshan Volcano, and I have already agreed to her request. However, she does not want to be disturbed by anyone, especially since she wants to reach a higher level in the fire law.”

”All right, I asked people to leave the volcano when the lady came here so no one would disturb them.” After that, they discussed other topics related to Zhang Fei and Feng Yao.

.

.

.

”Why did you call me to come here, Father?” Xian Jinglan asked the Elf Emperor.

Xian Lianghua looked at his wife for a moment before answering. ”Jinglan, I want you to go to Mutou Town to meet some important people. I heard that they want to set up a shop there, but the villagers wonʼt let them without our consent, so I want you to meet them on my behalf.”

”Hmm?” Xian Jinglan felt that there was something else behind her fatherʼs decision, especially after she saw Xue Jinglingʼs strange expression. ”Are those people related to Zhang Fei?”

”You are indeed smart as usual.” Xian Lianghua said with a smile. ”They are natural races from another realm, and Zhang Fei brought them to our kingdom. Since you said that he has two shops in the Xian Kingdom, I suspect that they want to open a shop in our kingdom because of him. Thatʼs why I think this is a good opportunity for us, and we can establish a good relationship with him if we help them.”

Xian Jinglan nodded in understanding. ”In that case, I will take Lang to Mutou Town now, and I will ask Xi Xianzi to accompany me.”

After their daughter left, Xue Jingling asked her husband, ”Do you really want to bring our daughter closer to Zhang Fei?”

”Do you still doubt Zhang Fei after our daughter told us so much about him?” Xian Lianghua immediately grabbed his wifeʼs hand. ”I understand your concerns about him being a demon, but he is not as evil as you think. I do want to bring our daughter closer to him, but I will not force my will on her. If Jinglan falls in love with him, then I will approve of their relationship. If she doesnʼt have interest in him, then I wonʼt force her, so you donʼt need to worry, okay?”

”All right.”

Since it was already morning outside, Zhang Fei decided to stop dual soul cultivating with all his wives. He immediately brought Zhang Lingxue, Liu Hua, the Wen Twins, and the Chu Sisters to the capital.

As usual, Zhang Lingxue and the Chu Sisters went to the Sky Jade Shop, and Liu Hua took the Wen Twins to the Sky Jade Restaurant.

Meanwhile, Zhang Fei decided to go to the array shop to see Fa Zhen, but the old man was working on a project and did not want to be disturbed. He then went to find Gang Zhishou to discuss something with him about blacksmithing, especially since Tie Xuan had not returned to the Wasteland Realm. ”I thought you were still busy with your business, Old Gang.”

”Haha.” Gang Zhishou laughed at that. ”My master asked me to see him a few days ago, so I had to leave for a few days. How is your blacksmithing? Have you successfully forged your weapon perfectly?”

Zhang Fei immediately showed Gang Zhishou the mortal-grade sword he had forged ten days earlier, as well as some rudimentary spirit-grade swords.

Gang Zhishou immediately snatched a rudimentary spirit-grade sword from Zhang Feiʼs hand. ”Since when did you start learning to forge a spirit-grade sword?”
