Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 624: Huangfu Lianʼs Plans

After leaving his kingdom, Huangfu Lian did not immediately take Ling Long to the Xian Kingdom. Instead, he picked up his other two women, Xuan Cunhua and Ming Yunjie, primarily because their abilities would be useful to him.

Huangfu Lian then shared Zhang Feiʼs image with the three women, captivating Ling Long. ʼHeʼs really handsome, huh? No wonder Xian Xianqin is interested in him.ʼ

Unlike Ling Long, the other women were unfazed by Zhang Feiʼs handsome face and sturdy body. Ming Yunjie then asked Huangfu Lian. ”What should I do about that man, Prince Lian?”

”Did you bring the Crimson Fang Poison?” Huangfu Lian asked her back.

”Yes.” Ming Yunjie then took out a small bottle and showed it to them. ”A drop of this Crimson Fang Poison can paralyze all the nerves of a living creature, and they will become completely paralyzed if they do not get the antidote within a week; not even cultivators in the Seven Divine Realms would be able to resist its effects.”

Huangfu Lian then took the bottle before speaking to Xuan Cunhua. ”I want you to help Yunjie infiltrate the Xian palace with your concealment technique and use this poison on Xian Xianqin. After paralyzing her, you must immediately take her away from there.”

Xuan Cunhua nodded to him. ”Then what about Zhang Fei? Do we need to help you?”

”No need.” Huangfu Lian then pulled Ling Long into his arms. ”Zhang Fei is indeed not an ordinary cultivator, but he is still weaker than us. Moreover, Longʼerʼs Heavenly Marionette Arts are very effective; even my father recognizes her techniques. Thatʼs why she will take care of him, and I will help her by using my special artifact.”

Xuan Cunhua and Ming Yunjie nodded in agreement. ”In that case, we will take care of Xian Xianqin, but we must descend far outside the Xian capital so that they wonʼt detect our arrival.”

”Big Sis Ma Mingxin! Emergency! A flying artifact has just entered our realm!” A young woman riding a winged horse screamed as she flew around above a house.

Ma Mingxin rushed out of her house and immediately looked at the red flying artifact with a phoenix statue in front of it. She then examined the flying artifact with her senses, but as soon as her senses repelled her, her expression turned to shock.

ʼWho are the people on the flying artifact? What is their purpose in coming to my realm? They are clearly stronger than me, so I have to be careful of them.ʼ Ma Mingxin then gave the young woman an order. ”Ma Xiaowei! Order the others not to approach the flying artifact! They are stronger than me, and I donʼt want them to be suspicious of the situation in our realm.”

”Yes, Big Sis!” Ma Xiaowei immediately flew away again to carry out Ma Mingxinʼs order.

”What happened? Why do you look panicked?” A middle-aged woman asked as she walked out of the house. Her appearance was seductive, with only a brown cloth covering her two private areas.

Ma Mingxin turned around and pulled the woman into her embrace before placing a gentle kiss on her lips. ”Uninvited guests have come to this realm, Meng Qi. I still donʼt know why they came here, but they are stronger than me because they can ward off my senses.”

”Oh.” Meng Qi responded curtly and turned her gaze to the red flying artifact that was approaching their location. ʼWho are they? Should I ask for their help to leave this realm? Iʼve been living in this realm for almost five months, but Iʼve never been comfortable with Ma Mingxinʼs treatment of me. She forced me to be intimate with her, even though I refused her repeatedly. She eventually forced me to swallow a strange liquid, causing my mind to go blank and my lust to soar.ʼ

”Hmm?” Ma Mingxin furrowed her brows as the flying artifact abruptly shifted its direction toward the lowlands. ʼDo they want to free the men? Or do they want to go to the Sun Tower? Itʼs fine if they want to go to the tower, but it will be a big problem if they release them.ʼ

After Ma Mingxin whistled to call it, a white-winged horse quickly flew towards them and landed right in front of them.

”Letʼs go! Weʼll meet those people.” Ma Mingxin immediately took Meng Qi on the flying horse, and they rushed after the flying artifact.

Meanwhile, the flying artifact had landed in front of the Sun Tower, and several people hurriedly descended from it. They were none other than Feng Tian, Feng Jiu, Gong Ren, the Nameless One, and the white beast Xue Bao.

Xue Bao then turned to the men who were crowding in front of the wall surrounding the Sun Tower. ”What happened to those men? Why do they look so bad? Look at them! Chains bind their necks, hands, and feet.”

”Those men are slaves to the women in this realm.” Xue Bao turned to Gong Ren, who immediately explained the situation in the Blossom Heaven Realm to him and the others. ”We donʼt need to care about them, and our purpose in coming here is only for the Sun Tower.”

”Hmm?” Feng Jiu suddenly looked up at the white-winged horse. ”The purple-haired woman seems to be their leader, and she was the one who tried to observe us with her senses earlier.”

Feng Tian agreed with his wife, but his attention fell on Meng Qi. ”Wife, look at the expression of the black-haired woman behind her; her expression seems to be expecting something, and I can feel the remnants of something unusual in her body.”

”The purple-haired woman seemed to have fed her something addictive.” Feng Jiu responded after closely examining Meng Qiʼs body. ”Moreover, the Qi in the black-haired womanʼs body is different from the Qi of the residents of this realm, so Iʼm sure that sheʼs not a native.”

Unlike them, the Nameless One didnʼt care about Ma Mingxin or Meng Xi, and he hurriedly walked toward the stone obelisk in front of the tower. Xue Bao, who was lying on his shoulder, immediately spoke. ”Apparently, this stone obelisk is used to measure oneʼs strength, Master.”

”Yeah.” The Nameless One gave a slight nod. ”I want to know whether this tower is the key to going to those realms or not, but we must wait for the others to arrive in this realm and enter it together.”

”Are you not confident in your abilities to challenge this tower?”

”Haha.” The Nameless One laughed at that. ”Baoʼer, you know that I have always been confident in my abilities, but you must always remember that there is another sky above the sky. This Sun Tower and the Star Tower in the Nine Stars Realm appeared out of thin air, and no one knows their true origins. Moreover, Little Yaoʼer has told her parents a lot about the Star Tower, so we canʼt underestimate this tower and all the challenges in it.”

Xue Bao immediately spoke confidently. ”This tower may be unusual, but we are not ordinary cultivators either. Iʼm sure we will overcome all the challenges in it and reach the peak to discover the truth about this tower.”

”I hope so.” The Nameless One then sat cross-legged in front of the stone obelisk and closed his eyes, ignoring everything around him.

Unlike his master, Xue Bao turned to face the two women who had just dismounted the white-winged horse, but his attention was solely on Ma Mingxin. ʼHeh! She looks innocent on the outside, but her soul is as rotten as a rotten corpse. Unfortunately, she is a weakling, and my master will scold me if I eat her soul.ʼ

As she glanced at Xue Bao and the Nameless One, Ma Mingxin immediately walked up to the other three and cupped her hands to them. ”Seniors, my name is Ma Mingxin, the leader of this realm. If you donʼt mind, I would like to know the purpose of your visit to my realm.”

”We have no interests in this realm except for this Sun Tower, so you need not mind our presence.”

Gong Renʼs answer relieved Ma Mingxin, but Feng Jiu suddenly moved and pulled Meng Qi with her, causing her to become tense again. ʼWhat is she going to do to her? Does she intend to take her away from me?ʼ

Feng Jiu did not care about Ma Mingxinʼs expression and asked Meng Qi directly. ”Which realm are you from? After you were in front of me, I could smell my daughterʼs scent on your body, indicating youʼve met her before.”

After Feng Jiuʼs question, Ma Mingxin appeared shocked and grew anxious, fearing that she might take Meng Qi away. Even so, she didnʼt dare to say anything, especially since the aura emanating from the Phoenix Empressʼs body gave her a calm but deadly feeling.

”Who is your daughter, Senior?” Meng Qi confusedly asked.

”Our race is not an ordinary race, and our scent will continue to linger on the bodies of those we have met before, but only our members can smell it.” Feng Jiuʼs words confused Meng Qi even more. ”My daughter is Feng Yao, and you must have met her, right?”

”Ah!” Meng Qi released a low cry of surprise. ”Do you mean Feng Yao, the sect master of the Blazing Phoenix Sect?”

Feng Jiu nodded to Meng Qi. ”Does this mean you came from the Sky Jade Realm? My daughter has lived in that realm for decades, so Iʼm sure that you met her there.”

”Yes, Senior. I did come from the Sky Jade Realm, and the space rift brought me to this realm.” Meng Qi then told Feng Jiu about the events starting from the incident in the demon cave until she was trapped in the Blossom Heaven Realm.

ʼDamn it!ʼ Ma Mingxin cursed in her heart after hearing all that. ʼI didnʼt expect that Meng Qi would have a relationship with the daughter of this powerful woman.ʼ

”Is Feng Yao really your daughter, Senior?” Meng Qi asked.

”Yes.” Feng Jiu touched her forehead and shared Feng Yaoʼs image with her, convincing Meng Qi that the two were indeed the same person. ”How long have you been in this realm?”

”Four and a half months, Senior.” Meng Qi glanced at Ma Mingxin, who looked furious. ”Honestly, I miss my home realm because my younger sister and family still live there, and I have always wanted to go back to see them again. Unfortunately, my cultivation is still too low, and I donʼt have a flying artifact capable of exploring outer space.”

”Actually, my daughter has left the Sky Jade Realm, and she followed someone to the Nine Stars Realm, so she is living there now.” Although Feng Jiu did not say the personʼs identity clearly, Meng Qi could immediately guess that the Phoenix Princess had followed Zhang Fei to that realm, especially since he had the ability to move between realms. ”If you want to return to your home realm, I can help you with that. Although my daughter is no longer living there, someone from our race has taken her place to protect that realm, so you will still be safe to live there.”

Ma Mingxin clenched her fists tightly, especially since she liked Meng Qi so much, and she didnʼt want to lose her. Unfortunately, her cultivation was far below Feng Jiuʼs, and fighting her would be akin to courting death. Moreover, the Phoenix Empress was not alone, and the other four were no less powerful than her.

Given the outcome, Ma Mingxin made the quick decision to leave, but she couldnʼt help but glare at Meng Qi in frustration. ʼTch! At least I know that her home realm is the Sky Jade Realm in the lower realm, so I can go there and bring her back to me in the future.ʼ

After Ma Mingxin left, Meng Qi was overjoyed, but she then spoke to Feng Jiu. ”Senior, I want to return to my home realm, but that woman repeatedly gave me a strange liquid, and I have become addicted to it.”

”Hehe.” Feng Jiu chuckled as she touched Meng Qiʼs chest. ”My race is unique, and our flames can neutralize various substances, such as poison and others. Actually, I had guessed from the beginning that she used something on you, so I will help you to remove the effects, and you will no longer be addicted to it.”

”Mhmm…” Meng Qi groaned softly as Feng Jiu channeled her phoenix flame into her body, and it quickly spread throughout. Additionally, she sensed an unusual sensation within her body as her flame seemed to rejuvenate her organs. ʼA mythical beast, the Phoenix is truly extraordinary.ʼ

A while later, Feng Jiu simultaneously withdrew her flame and her hand before presenting Meng Qi with a miniature flying artifact. ”This flying artifact is not as fast as my main flying artifact, but its protection is very strong, so it is more than enough to take you back to the Sky Jade Realm. However, that realm is too far from here, and you need one to two months to get there. Given your familiarity with my daughter and Zhang Fei, I recommend meeting them in the Nine Stars Realm first. That realm is significantly closer than your home realm, and you can reach it in about two weeks using my flying artifact. Once youʼve met them, you can ask for their help to return to your home realm.”

”Yeah, youʼre right, Senior.” Meng Qi immediately received the miniature flying artifact from Feng Jiu. ”Zhang Fei has the ability to go to various realms, so he should be able to send me back to the Sky Jade Realm.”

Feng Jiu nodded before telling Meng Qi the direction of the Nine Stars Realm. ”You must leave now, or that woman will change her mind and capture you again.”

”Thank you, Senior. I will never forget your help.” Meng Qi then looked at Feng Tian and Gong Ren, nodded to them, and enlarged the flying artifact. ”In that case, I will leave for the Nine Stars Realm right now.”

After Meng Qi left, Gong Ren immediately spoke to Feng Jiu. ”Youʼre still as soft-hearted as ever, Empress Feng. You donʼt know that little girl, but you helped her to that extent. By the way, is Zhang Fei the man at Princess Yaoʼs side?”

”I could see that the little girl had great potential, and I was even more convinced after I examined her whole body. Thatʼs why I decided to save her from that womanʼs clutches, or her potential would be wasted, and she would only become her doll.” Feng Jiu then returned to her husbandʼs side. ”Anyway, you are right, Old Ren. Zhang Fei is indeed the one, but my daughter doesnʼt have a special relationship with him yet.”

”I see.” Gong Ren then looked towards the Sun Tower. ”We just need to wait for the others to arrive in this realm, and we can challenge this Sun Tower after we pass the strength test on that stone obelisk.”

The three of them then approached the stone obelisk and touched it, but they did not activate it right away, especially since they had heard from Feng Yao that someone was controlling the tower at the top. That person had full control over the tower and could easily change all the challenges inside it, so they chose to wait for the others before challenging it. They then sat cross-legged on the ground, surrounded the stone obelisk, and closed their eyes.

At dawn, Murong Qianying decided to stop dual cultivating with Zhang Xiaolong [3] and asked him to pamper her second daughter, especially since she had to return to the Red Sun Realm, or her husband would be suspicious of her if he returned before her. ”Are you sure they wonʼt die there?”

”If youʼre worried that theyʼll die, Iʼll take Big Sis Yaolin there to check on their condition.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] then carried Shang Yaolin out of bed before getting dressed.

”All right, you two can go there and make sure they are safe, especially since they are still useful to me.” After she finished dressing, Murong Qianying hurriedly went to the fortress. Meanwhile, Zhang Xiaolong [3] took Shang Yaolin to Shang Xiaoyinʼs secret place.
