CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2192: Chapter 2200: Don’t Take It Off

Jillian Carter didn’t suspect anything, thinking it was exactly like this, so contentedly spun around in the house. Seeing no one was there, she drove off.

For safety, the driver wasn’t going fast, so when they arrived at the location, it was already past nine o’clock.

In the city district, walking the streets past nine in the morning might make you sweat, but in the mountain village, getting out of the car greeted by a gust of wind, Jane Sampson shivered with cold.

”Put on your coat and button it up.” James Black took Jane Sampson’s coat as he got off the car, promptly draping it on Jane’s shoulders, then grabbed her hand to put it through the sleeve.

”I can dress myself.” Jane, only wearing a thin long-sleeve shirt and shivering with chattering teeth, didn’t need James Black’s help, quickly put on the coat herself in two and a half moves.

”The mountains are high and the fog is thick, although it’s already nine, it’s still very cold now, everyone must remember to dress warmly.” The tour guide girl, who had been waiting for everyone there, kindly reminded them, ”In the afternoon, the fog clears, the sun grows strong, it will get warm, so everyone should wear a convenient autumn shirt and thick coat, making it easy to add or remove layers.”

The guide was arranged by James Carter’s assistant yesterday afternoon, as some spots in the mountain needed a guide’s explanation to know where to go for fun.

Although she knew since yesterday who she was hosting today, the girl glanced at Jane Sampson, then at James Carter, and finally at Gwendolyn Young, still very delighted with a look of surprise.

For her, it was truly a dream job falling from the sky! Even if today she had come to work for free, it would be totally worth it, right? Just as Jane Sampson had buttoned up her coat, James Black already put her hood and glasses on her, thinking for a moment, noticed her bare neck, then returned to the car to fetch one scarf from Jane’s suitcase and wrapped it around her.

”James Black! James Black!” Jane Sampson couldn’t dodge in time, ”Not cold anymore! Not cold anymore!”

”It will be cold when we enter the mountain later, this can still block some wind.” James Black dropped his serious face and gave a threatening remark, ”Don’t take it off.”

Grandpa Carter and Granny Carter watched and laughed beside them, no wonder netizens said, Jane Sampson has a husband who’s always afraid she’ll get cold. Isn’t this the case?

”Why don’t you just wrap my hands too?” Jane Sampson swung her hands in front of James Black, retorting slightly annoyed.

James Black replied very seriously with a hmm, reached out to take Jane’s playful hands and placed them left and right into his coat pocket, ”Like this.”

This operation left Jane Sampson surprised and speechless.

Jane Sampson and James Black stood facing each other, she laughed out of frustration, ”How do we walk? We’re facing each other like this, you tell me, how do we walk? Are you watching the road? Or am I watching the road?”

”I’ll watch.” James Black answered quickly.

Jane Sampson then realized James Black was intentionally teasing her for fun, withdrew her hands, made a fist, and punched his arm twice.

The two bantered back and forth, entertaining the whole family watching them as they laughed along.

After tidying up, everyone followed the tour guide girl to the grassland.

To get from the parking lot to the grassland, they needed to take the tourism area shuttle.

Jane Sampson and James Black sat in the same row, her pair of eyes constantly gazing everywhere along the way.

In the forest, occasionally some wildlife dashed through, making Jane Sampson repeatedly exclaim, showing that the ecology here is well-preserved.
