CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2158: Chapter 2166: Preparing for Parenthood

The veteran Chinese medicine doctor was attracted by Jane Sampson’s sneaky look, ”Go ahead and ask.”

”Can I have a baby?” Jane Sampson asked, her ears turning red.

The veteran Chinese medicine doctor laughed, ”What’s this? Thinking about having a baby?”

Jane Sampson nodded a bit bashfully.

”Hold on, I’ll add two more types of medicine to your prescription. Take the medicine for three months, and then you can stop. About two months after stopping, you can start preparing for pregnancy.” The veteran Chinese medicine doctor chuckled, ”Nowadays, with such advanced medical care in hospitals, just pay a bit more attention after getting pregnant, and there shouldn’t be any big issues.”

Saying this, the veteran Chinese medicine doctor seemed quite pleased, ”Maybe I’ll even get to see you plump up. Almost every woman gains weight during pregnancy.”

Jane Sampson nodded vigorously, smiling happily as she spun around on the chair.

”Take it easy, don’t break my new chair. The chair breaking is one thing, but if you accidentally fall and James Black comes in, he might just turn this clinic upside down,” the veteran Chinese medicine doctor reminded Jane Sampson when he saw her having too much fun.

Jane Sampson immediately sat quietly like a good child, thinking it over. Worried that James might ask too many questions if he came in, she took the prescription herself, put on her glasses, and went out.

Leaving the consulting room, Jane Sampson skillfully went to the pharmacy to find James Black, handed over the prescription, and said, ”Grandpa Peterson said to add these two kinds of medicine.”

”Why didn’t you wait inside?” James Black asked softly, holding Jane Sampson’s hand.

”Came out to drop the prescription.” Jane Sampson pointed to the prescription that had been taken away and smiled, ”Give me the car key, I’ll wait for you in the car.”

James Black handed her the car key from his pocket. Jane Sampson took it and walked off, twirling it with her fingertips.

Old Sir Peterson’s disciple personally prepared the medicine. Seeing Jane Sampson hand over the prescription, he glanced at it, turned to look at James Black, and when he handed the medicine to James Black, he added, ”Are you preparing for a child? Congratulations in advance, it’s about time to have a child at this age.”

”What?” James Black was puzzled, but the disciple was truly busy, having been called away by someone else as soon as he finished speaking.

James Black, carrying the medicine, went back to the car, opened the door, and was immediately met by Jane Sampson’s big, beaming smile.

”You’re back already? That was quick.” She cheerfully fastened her seatbelt.

”So happy to come out and get the medicine?” James Black was quite surprised, after all, that morning when he dragged her out the door, she was reluctant and pouting, ignoring him the whole way.

”Happy?” Jane Sampson touched her own face, ”Which eye of yours saw that I’m happy?”

”It’s written all over your face.” James Black replied as he started the car and drove away.

Although James Black was puzzled about why Jane Sampson waiting alone in the car was so happy, even if he couldn’t figure out the reason, as long as Jane Sampson was happy, that was enough.

He just wouldn’t need the methods he thought up all morning to cheer up his wife.

Jane Sampson’s happiness was truly written all over her face.

Previously Jane Sampson had read up on information that many people with not-so-good health find it challenging to conceive, and even if they do, it would be harder and riskier compared to ordinary people when it comes to giving birth.

Jane Sampson was worried that she might not conceive and also concerned whether her body was suitable for having a baby.
