CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2170: Chapter 2178: Just Craving It

Then, Jane Sampson just sat in her seat, watching the person to her left drinking milk tea, the person to her right also drinking milk tea, and the person behind her still drinking milk tea.

The person on the left said, in such hot weather, drinking a cup of iced milk tea really couldn’t be more satisfying.

The person on the right said, the milk tea Mr. Black ordered is really delicious, previously when I went to queue to buy it, it took a long time to wait.

The person behind said, the taro balls in this milk tea are really tasty, oh my, how refreshing!

Jane Sampson couldn’t shut her ears, so she always felt like the fruits in her mouth ended up tasting like the taro balls in the milk tea as she ate.

”Not happy?” James Black passed a piece of Hami melon to Jane Sampson.

”Not unhappy,” Jane Sampson took it and shook her head, ”just craving.”

Fortunately, Jane Sampson didn’t crave for long, as the director soon called everyone to start work.

Once busy, Jane Sampson forgot all about craving milk tea.

This week, Jane Sampson’s tasks were heavy. The director also feared that Jane Sampson would get exhausted, so on the first night of the resume shooting, no night plays were scheduled for Jane Sampson.

But even so, when Jane Sampson finished and returned to the hotel, it was already past 8 o’clock.

After a hot day, Jane Sampson felt she was almost dehydrated when she got back to the hotel.

The southern autumn, that’s what they call an autumn tiger, the sun hitting the skin was even harsher than the summer sun.

Before sleep, James Black discovered Jane Sampson’s arms were slightly sunburned, even after applying sunscreen, being under the sun all day, her tender skin still got sunburned.

James Black took out aloe vera juice and applied it on Jane Sampson’s arm, hearing her hissing sound, James Black quickly held her arm, ”Just endure for a bit, it’ll be okay soon.”

”Tomorrow apply the sunscreen thicker,” Jane Sampson said, ”tomorrow all day, mostly still outdoors.”

”You have a night scene tomorrow night too.” Tired as she was, James Black almost wanted to take Jane Sampson back to the Capital Province.

Let Stella Carter act as she likes if she wants to, and take good care of his wife back at the Capital Province.

However, that thought was just a fleeting idea.

James Black knew Jane Sampson wouldn’t agree, and he also hoped Jane Sampson would be a responsible and committed good girl who sees things through to the end.

The aloe vera juice James Black brought worked well, Jane Sampson’s arm didn’t hurt by the next morning.

”What are you looking for?” James Black saw Jane Sampson rummaging through his suitcase as he walked out of the bath room.

”Aloe vera juice, I want to give some to Brother James Carter,” Jane Sampson asked, ”How much did you bring?”

”Two bottles,” James Black said, ”The one used last night is on the tabletop, the unopened one in the suitcase, you can take that.”

James Carter’s acting wasn’t less demanding than Jane Sampson’s, he was also under the sun all day yesterday, but in the upcoming scripts, James Carter’s roles are much easier, mostly lying in the hospital.

Jane Sampson found the unopened bottle, went out and knocked on James Carter’s room door. Seeing him just wake up, she didn’t go in, passed the stuff through the doorway, and returned.

As luck would have it, as Jane Sampson was returning to her room, she happened to run into Stella Carter. Not knowing what she was doing on this floor, Stella Carter greeted her, and Jane Sampson returned a smile but didn’t make further small talk. Jane Sampson then closed her room door. When going out in the morning, James Black still accompanied Jane Sampson, though Jane Sampson suggested James Black bring a newspaper to pass the time, the suggestion wasn’t adopted. Yesterday the stuff Jane Sampson prepared, James Black only touched the water in her kettle.
