CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1754: Chapter 1762: He’s in a Difficult Spot

”If you lie again, what’s the punishment?” James Black’s fingertips touched Jane Sampson’s tightly closed eyes, ”Speak.”

”I didn’t do anything, it must be the weighing scale that broke earlier!” Jane Sampson opened just one eye to glance at James Black. Seeing him smile, she opened the other eye too.

Jane Sampson thought this explanation was absolutely perfect.

After all, the excuse of a broken weighing scale was truly impeccable.

Then, with newfound confidence, she lifted her foot and nudged James Black, ”It’s freezing, quickly get my clothes for me to wear.”

”Soon you won’t feel cold,” James Black straightened up, speaking as he unbuttoned his shirt.

Jane Sampson lay there with her ears slightly red, her small face couldn’t conceal the blush.

Her gaze stuck to James Black’s hand, wherever his hand went, she followed with her eyes.

When he tossed the shirt to the sofa not far away, Jane Sampson even reached out to lightly poke his abdomen, then changed to softly caressing it.

The feel was surprisingly good.

A hint of a smile played at the corner of James Black’s lips, and he didn’t brush away Jane Sampson’s daring hand, instead continued to undress.

James Black said he wouldn’t let Jane Sampson feel cold, and indeed he didn’t lie.

It seemed as if the room temperature suddenly rose by several degrees,

The sound of entwined lips and teeth gradually increased, followed by even more embarrassing noises.

When Jane Sampson fell asleep, she thought to herself, this guy came early, probably not because he missed her.

He was likely starving, came early just to feast on her.

After a night of passion, Jane Sampson slept soundly in James Black’s arms, probably even if thunder clapped next to her ear, it wouldn’t wake her.

Even the next morning she was woken by James Black.

”I really can’t stand you!” Jane Sampson sat up grumpily, waving her small fists at James Black, ”You never let me sleep well when you come! I don’t care! I want double-layer milk curd today.”

While saying this, she kicked her legs twice, venting.

Obviously she hadn’t slept enough, and was in a bit of a bad mood upon waking.

James Black stood next to her and responded with a hum, being well-fed and content, this small request was still doable.

After all, a bit of morning irritability was something he could tolerate.

Receiving James Black’s prompt response, Jane Sampson then scratched her head and got down to the bath room, and after washing, she felt revitalized and started talking to James Black about James Carter visiting the set yesterday.

”Mr. Carter is always stuck between Jillian Carter and I, it’s tough for him,” Jane Sampson sighed, ”But Jillian just insists on being at odds with me, I can’t do anything about it. Jillian and I are always like pins and needles, probably born to be arch-enemies.”

”By the way, the TV series is being changed to a web drama, and is being released before us. I wonder if it’s scheduled yet,” Jane Sampson mumbled, ”But yesterday, from the way Mr. Carter looked after visiting Jillian Carter, he didn’t seem pleased. He mentioned that filming on the TV drama crew’s side isn’t going very smoothly.”

”They can’t pass the review that quickly,” James Black said, ”You still have enough time.”

Hearing James Black say this, Jane Sampson immediately understood what it meant.

It showed that James Black had a clear grasp of the situation with the TV drama crew, including the matter of changing it to a web drama for an earlier release.

The TV drama crew couldn’t pass the review quickly, which should also involve some of James Black’s efforts.
