CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1753: Chapter 1761: Arithmetic Problem

James Black really didn’t know whether to say Jane Sampson was greedy, or to praise her for being easily satisfied.

”Tomorrow I want two cups! One in the afternoon, one in the evening! The day after tomorrow, one cup! The remaining three cups will be pushed to next weekend and the weekend after that.” Jane Sampson planned well, this way, she could eat double-layer milk curd for three consecutive weeks.

”It’s doable.” James Black nodded, ”If you indeed gained 5 catties, I agree to this request.”

For some reason, after hearing James Black’s words, Jane Sampson had a vague bad premonition.

As if this double-layer milk curd might, probably, go sour.

”Let me weigh if you’ve gained weight.” James Black bent down and directly lifted Jane Sampson up.

Among girls, Jane Sampson wasn’t short, but she was very slim, so slim that when held in arms, James Black almost felt nothing.

”Jane Sampson, have you really gained 5 catties?” James Black asked steadily while holding Jane Sampson.

”I really have~” Jane Sampson struggled desperately, ”Your hand is not a scale, how can you weigh me accurately by holding me, I really gained 5 catties.”

”That’s true, holding is not as accurate as a scale.” James Black actually nodded.

Jane Sampson’s sense of crisis suddenly surged up.

But seeing James Black put her back on the bed, Jane Sampson was puzzled—why did it seem a little different from what she originally thought?

Just as Jane Sampson was confused, James Black suddenly reached out and swiftly removed her pajamas and sleeping pants.

???!!!

Jane Sampson was utterly shocked, instinctively reaching out to cover her chest, ”You rogue!”

She had just finished her bath and there was nothing worn beneath the pajama.

”Hmm.” Surprisingly, James Black acknowledged and nodded, his gaze sweeping over her chest.

Little swindler, not one bit heavier, may have even lost weight.

James Black picked her up from the bed again and walked towards the bathroom.

Weighing scales are usually placed near the bathroom or cloakroom, so James Black found it instantly.

He stood there with Jane Sampson completely bare in his arms, looked at the numbers on the scale, ”Open your eyes and look down.”

”No~” Jane Sampson pouted and kept her eyes shut tight.

Just now she was wondering why James Black didn’t directly carry her to weigh her and put her on the bed instead, realizing this guy was even more ruthless, beastly, and shameless than she thought!

”Know how much I weigh?” James Black asked.

”I do! Hmph!” Jane Sampson answered even louder than James Black asked, the guiltier she felt, the more she pretended to be aggressive.

”Good that you know, now just subtract the number you see now and tell me what’s the answer to this math problem.” James Black glanced at Jane Sampson who was clinging onto him tightly, face buried into his chest and tutted, ”How did you weigh yourself just now?”

Jane Sampson played dumb, staying silent.

”Carrying a suitcase on your shoulder?” James Black said, then shook his head and asked another question, ”Did you wear all your clothes just now?”

Jane Sampson’s eyebrows twitched.

James Black immediately knew he guessed right.

James Black was amused by Jane Sampson.

”You always manage to come up with a way, Jane Sampson.” Laughing, James Black stepped off the scale, carried Jane Sampson back to the bed, and gently placed her back, pressing down slightly.
