CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1632: Chapter 1640: She is Pregnant

It’s also possible that it was already very serious last night, but she kept holding on.

”I suggest you send her to the hospital as a precaution, at least to draw blood for an examination.” The doctor said, ”First, give her physical cooling, hydrate her more, and let her drink more water.”

Looking at the person curled up in the quilt, shivering uncontrollably, with a face so pale that there was almost no color of blood, even her lips were turning bluish-purple, James Black made a decisive decision and said, ”Take her to the hospital immediately.”

The doctor nodded, ”Carry her into my car. I have alcohol in my car. I’ll drive, you wipe her down.”

James Black directly picked her up, quilt and all, and followed the doctor out of the ward.

James Black walked quickly, leaving no time to explain anything to Bright Sampton. By the time Bright Sampton snapped out of it, the car had already driven away. The commotion had frightened everyone outdoors.

When Bright Sampton came out, a group of people surrounded him and asked, ”Bright Sampton, how is your sister?”

”High fever, nearly forty degrees.” Bright Sampton’s mood was very somber. He glanced towards the Memorial Hall with red eyes, feeling very upset inside.

Grandma, I’m sorry, I didn’t take good care of my sister.

”Don’t worry, take her to the hospital for a shot, an IV drip will make her better.” A relative tried to comfort Bright Sampton when they saw his distress, ”Recently, the weather easily makes people sick. Your sister’s health was never too good, she was exhausted last night, and with the emotional strain, it’s normal for her to have a fever.”

”Bright Sampton, your sister has it tough. In the future, you should take better care of Sister Jane.” Someone sighed with pity.

Mother Sampton was staring blankly at James Black running out with Jane Sampson, listening to relatives asking Bright Sampton many questions. She looked towards her husband with a worried expression, ”Will Jane be alright?”

Father Sampton acted as if he hadn’t heard his wife’s question but said, ”Go get Julie Sampton out of the room! What does she look like?”

”She’s pregnant.” Mother Sampton said, ”It’s noisy outside, she...”

”She treats a child who doesn’t even recognize their real father like a treasure?” Father Sampton growled, ”She’s embarrassed my old face completely! Now that her grandmother has passed, does this granddaughter of hers not even have to keep vigil? We’re here keeping vigil, yet she’s sleeping soundly in her room!”

”Mom said that at dad’s funeral back then, it’s normal for Julie to feel unhappy.” Mother Sampton kept finding excuses for Julie Sampton.

”Respect for the dead, what is she unhappy about? What, does she want her grandmother to apologize to her in person? If she had half the capability of Jane, she’d have the right to say she’s unhappy with those three words!” Father Sampton’s heart was full of anger.

With Jane Sampson’s illness, all the relatives were worried and felt distressed. From time to time, those relatives cast disdainful glances towards Julie Sampton’s room, he wasn’t blind, he could see and knew what the relatives were thinking about Julie Sampson.

Father Sampton now felt a million regrets.

He hated Julie Sampson’s worthlessness, but she was quite proficient at boasting.

If it weren’t for her persuading him that as long as she married David Chip, he wouldn’t need anything from Jane Sampson, he wouldn’t have reached the point of getting back the shares in Jane Sampson’s hands, let alone saying things like cutting off relations with Jane Sampson!
