CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1613: Chapter 1621: It’s My Fault

Julie Sampson’s eyes nearly popped out on hearing this.

She came to find Jane Sampson without knowing Father Sampton was here, and upon arriving and seeing him, she was unaware of the reason he was here.

Julie even thought Father Sampton was here to discuss matters related to her and the Chip Family with Jane Sampson.

But she never expected that her father came to give Jane Sampson the shares back.

”Dad, are you crazy! She only managed to return those shares to you with great difficulty!” Julie reached out to grab the documents, but Father Sampton avoided her.

”Daddy!” Julie couldn’t understand why Father Sampton was doing this, ”Dad, she’s no longer part of the Sampton Family, she clearly said it just now. She has severed ties with our house, why do you still want to give her the company shares?”

Jane Sampson watched the drama between father and daughter and finally understood that Julie Sampson and Father Sampton came with different intentions.

Julie didn’t even know what Father Sampton was here for.

”Since when did my matters become your business?” Father Sampton angrily retorted to Julie.

”As for me, I truly have no relations with your Sampton Family anymore. I won’t take back the stuff I returned, to avoid people saying I’m occupying others’ property and snatching the true princess’s assets.” Jane put her hand behind her back, not intending to accept.

”President Sampton, from the day you asked for it back, you should have understood, I, Jane Sampson, will never take it back again.” Jane clearly stated to Father Sampton, and then turned to Julie Sampson with a mocking smile, ”Since you know I’m not part of the Sampton Family, and have no relations with you, then tell me, Julie Sampson, why are you waiting for me here?”

Seeing Julie’s expression change sharply from anger to fear, Jane just curled the corner of her mouth, ”I’ve been tired all day today, please leave, I want to go home and rest.”

”Jane, Jane~” Father Sampton saw Jane Sampson’s attitude was cold and hard, and finally gave up concealing.

”Jane, Daddy, oh no, it’s me, I beg you~” Father Sampton trembled as he reached his hands out to Jane, ”I beg you, if you don’t take these shares, the company won’t last much longer.”

Father Sampton spoke, his eye sockets were red.

”Black Corp originally did not intend to renew any cooperation with the Sampton Clan. Black Corp has already publicly tendered, waiting for the cooperation time with the Sampton Clan to end, then handing the project to other companies. Black Corp is not cooperating with the Sampton Clan, and those companies that were originally helping because of Black Corp’s influence, also stopped cooperating with the company. The company cannot withstand such losses.”

Father Sampton’s voice was choked, ”Before, I was wrong, I was not good, the company is meant to be left to Bright later, I beg you, for Bright’s sake, help the company, please tell the Black Family something, speak on behalf of the company.”

Father Sampton had always complained that Black Corp didn’t give enough, but until now, when Black Corp withdrew everything given to the Sampton Clan, Father Sampton realized clearly, the Sampton Clan was truly relying on Black Corp to survive.

Old Sir Sampton, when he was alive, repeatedly reminded Father Sampton not to covet the shares in Jane Sampson’s hand; Jane Sampson being one of the Sampton Clan’s shareholders ensured Black Corp would take care of the Sampton Clan for a day, Old Sir Sampton also mentioned, ever since the Sampton Clan suffered heavy losses, it truly became a company dependent on Black Corp for survival.
