CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1606: Chapter 1614 Donated

Jane Sampson glanced at Rock Bell, and seeing Rock Bell nod, Jane Sampson reached out and took the money.

At the moment of taking the money, Jane Sampson clearly felt a sigh of relief from Lucy Brisk’s father.

After the secretary helped send off Lucy Brisk’s family of three, Rock Bell sighed, ”Lucy Brisk’s parents are indeed very honest, but who would’ve thought their daughter, Lucy, would do something so wrong in a moment of folly.”

”They really have been very good to their daughter, Lucy,” remarked Jane Sampson.

”Yes, she’s their only daughter,” Rock Bell nodded, then glanced at the six bundles of money on the table and asked, ”What are you planning to do with these?”

In terms of the studio’s and Jane Sampson’s losses, this 60,000 doesn’t come close, but this 60,000 is indeed ill-gotten gains.

Jane Sampson shrugged and casually made a decision on how to handle the 60,000 yuan.

”Find a scholarship fund and donate it in the name of the studio,” suggested Jane Sampson.

”That works too, doing a good deed, letting kids who can’t afford school have the money for education is quite good,” Rock Bell did the math in his mind, 60,000 yuan would be enough to help many kids get back to school.

Later, Jane Sampson informed Rock Bell about her plan to start a high-end home stay called Three with Bright Sampton and Leah Webster. Since Rock Bell is her agent, these matters naturally needed to be communicated to him.

”That’s fine, it doesn’t have much impact. Nowadays, many artists have their own side businesses, it’s normal,” Rock Bell nodded, ”When it opens, remember to invite me to stay for free for two days.”

”Of course, I’m counting on you and brother-in-law Daniel Taylor to help me with lots of promotion!” Jane Sampson replied straightforwardly to Rock Bell; the more publicity, the better.

After leaving the studio, Jane Sampson went directly to find Nina Rice, waking her from under the quilt and dragging her along to the law firm.

When Nina Rice was still working at the law firm, Jane Sampson would often come to visit her, so the reception recognized Jane Sampson but was surprised to see Nina Rice.

This was because everyone at the law firm knew that Nina Rice had resigned to start a hot pot restaurant, which had upset their boss quite a bit.

Since then, Nina Rice hadn’t returned to the law firm.

”By the way, is Auntie Rice in the office now?” Jane Sampson asked the reception.

”Yes, hold on a moment.” The reception immediately called the boss’ assistant, explained about Nina Rice and Jane Sampson, received permission, and then hung up the phone, telling Jane Sampson and Nina Rice to go directly to the boss’ office.

Jane Sampson, dragging the somewhat reluctant Nina Rice, made her way familiarly into the office.

”Auntie Rice, it’s been a long time~” Jane Sampson greeted as soon as she stood at the doorway.

Mother Rice looked up and, seeing Jane Sampson’s youthful and vibrant smile, immediately smiled along.

Nina Rice had known Jane Sampson for as many years as Mother Rice had, seeing Jane grow from a young girl into the person she is today.

”Jane, why are you standing at the door? Come on in and have a seat, it’s rare for you to still remember your Auntie Rice.” Mother Rice stood up and walked towards the reception sofa, waving Jane over.

After Jane Sampson pulled Nina in and noticing Nina’s bashful demeanor, Mother Rice spoke again, ”What is it, for boss Nina to return to her old employer’s, I have to personally invite you to come in and sit?”
