CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 482: Chapter 490: Work Hard

Moreover, Rock Bell hadn’t mentioned a single word about this to her beforehand.

”Yes, we just signed the contract today, and there’s another piece of news, you, as the spokesperson, were specifically chosen by the JK headquarters. Want to know the reason?” Rock Bell couldn’t help but praise Jane Sampson; her luck was truly unmatched.

”You posted on Twitter that day, and the photo just happened to feature that specially customized lipstick. It was seen by a manager at JK’s headquarters; she browsed through your Twitter and found the comments to be very interesting. She saw a netizen mention that from now on, whenever they see JK, they would probably think of you, Boss Sampson, so the endorsement contract ended up in my hands.”

Rock Bell’s laughter was filled with pleasure, ”You’ve really done it, securing such a big endorsement with just a Twitter post—it’s unprecedented, with no one before and likely no one after. Although you are a newcomer, the endorsement fee you’ve got isn’t much less than what Mandy Forest and the others get.”

This was the real reason for Rock Bell’s joy. Jane Sampson’s first endorsement signified the starting point of her advertisement career, with the first being for an international first-tier brand like JK. The fee wasn’t much lower than that of first-tier actresses like Mandy Forest, giving Rock Bell solid ground to stand on when negotiating endorsements for Jane Sampson in the future.

Moreover, an endorsement from JK could directly elevate Jane Sampson’s worth, ensuring that those messy companies wouldn’t come to her asking about endorsement fees again.

And the popularity that comes with the JK brand could bring new popularity and traffic to Jane Sampson.

Rock Bell thought that, once Jane Sampson completed the existing work on her schedule, she should be able to officially shed the label of a newcomer.

She had works, and now she had an endorsement as well.

”So, keep working hard, Jane. With your luck, sooner or later, you’ll be able to stand at the pinnacle of this industry.” Rock Bell had managed many artists, but none had the good fortune that Jane Sampson had.

Finally, Rock Bell had come to believe that some people are simply born lucky.

”I watched the interviews you did with those local junior reporters who aren’t very famous. Riding on the heat of the ’living together’ topic, these interviews also gained a significant repost volume, bringing a positive image for you. So, after entering the filming of ’I’m Not a Celebrity,’ I hope that, no matter how tough or exhausting it is, you’ll grit your teeth and persist. You can’t let people feel that you’re someone delicate on this show; in this circle, ’delicate’ is neither a good character setting nor a good label, understand?”

”Sister Tin, don’t worry, I’m definitely not one to fear hardship or exhaustion,” Jane Sampson replied, almost as if she would have thumped her chest in assurance to Rock Bell.

From the moment she agreed to take on this job, she never expected to just enjoy the perks of having a guard team.

”Alright, Jane, keep it up and make sure to get good rest while you still can. I have a feeling your work will only get busier from here on,” Rock Bell said, ”In the first two years, to boost popularity and exposure, there’s hardly any chance for you to rest.”

”I understand, and I’m fully prepared for the battle,” Jane Sampson confirmed without any worry.

She had wasted enough time and hadn’t felt the essence of being busy for a long time. Although the work now was far from easy and sometimes nearly overwhelming, she still persisted through gritted teeth; she enjoyed this kind of life.
