Chapter 381: Chapter 389 Filming

The holiday village with a paddy field theme song, the plants in the hotel’s large hall are all rice plants.

In midsummer, a stretch of verdant beauty, incomparably lovely.

”We will be filming at this resort for one night, plus early tomorrow morning, capturing scenes at sunset this evening and sunrise tomorrow. Right now, you can go to the hotel room to get your makeup done by the makeup artist. In about two hours, it will be evening, and we’ll start filming.”

This morning, when at James Carter’s Studio, Jane Sampson had already listened to the song in advance. It carried an ancient style but also incorporated additional elements.

After James Carter left, Jane Sampson began the long and tedious process of makeup in her room, undisturbed by other actors doing makeup in different rooms.

Now, as soon as Jane closes her eyes, she sees the score she brought from James Carter’s Studio. Filming officially started at 4:30 in the evening.

Compared to shooting movies or TV series, making an MV certainly doesn’t seem any easier.

It’s at this time that Jane finally witnesses the perfectionism of James Carter, bordering on harshness. If the angle of a backward glance wasn’t right, Jane would be asked to do it over and over again by Carter.

James Carter at work was nothing like the easygoing man encountered in everyday life; once work began, not a trace of friendliness could be seen on his face, putting him on par with James Black’s stern expression.

By over seven o’clock, the last of the light had hidden away, and the group of people concluded the first day of shooting.

After removing her makeup and changing her clothes, Jane Sampson went back to the first floor’s large hall to join everyone for a meal. When she arrived, the photographer was talking to James Carter about her.

”What are you guys talking about me?” Jane asked with a smile as she walked over.

”I was just telling Mr. Carter that I finally understand why Goddess Sampson left the music circle for the film and television circle. With Goddess Sampson’s stunning beauty and no bad angles throughout the year, it would be a waste not to film movies with such a beautiful face,” teased the photographer.

”My Sister Jane also has a great voice, she sings beautifully,” Elizabeth King quickly added. ”While getting her makeup done, I listened to her sing Mr. Carter’s new song, and it’s really super nice.”

No sooner had Elizabeth finished speaking than the makeup artist from the next table hurried over nodding in agreement, ”It’s so beautiful it could make your ears pregnant. This is the most relaxing makeup session I’ve had in many years of work.”

”With all this praise, I’m about to ascend to heaven,” Jane said, sitting down in the spot James Carter had reserved for her, her appetite surging at the sight of the dishes on the table.

Not only do the accommodations and lighting at this resort have unique features, but even the food and the dining plates are incredibly distinctive, all styled like ancient countryside.

After the meal, Jane Sampson took several photos and a few short videos and immediately posted them on Moments.

Not surprisingly, she instantly received dozens of likes.

Unexpectedly, among these dozens of likes, Jane spotted James Black.

Since when did this guy have a habit of browsing Moments?

He liked it as soon as she posted, indicating that he was currently on his mobile phone.

Jane exited the Moments page, about to put her phone down, when she suddenly saw a message from James Black.

Did work go well today? — Jane Sampson’s Mr. Black.

Given the current progress, how many more days will it take to finish the work? — Jane Sampson’s Mr. Black.
