I Became a Medical Genius in the 80s

Chapter 1206: Chapter 1205: Cooperation

”We need to find a way to escape,” Luo Yirui said, frowning.

Little Fatty chuckled, but his eyes were filled with fear, ”You don’t need to tell me that.” He raised his hand and pointed to the end of the corridor, where a person stood quietly against the white wall, giving off an extremely eerie feeling.

Luo Yirui turned back and saw the person too. After seeing his eyes, realization dawned on him.

Sure enough, vertical pupils!

They were used as guinea pigs for experiments on these vertical pupils!

Luo Yirui couldn’t understand. Compared to the Black Coal Ball parasitizing Hao Meili, these vertical pupils seemed devoid of emotion but were full of aggression. And judging by that bloody room, the biting ability of these vertical pupils was definitely not like that of humans!

So, for those parasitized, their muscle strength, biting force, and speed were enhanced. What exactly was the Nie Family aiming for?

The incident with Black Coal Ball was something his mother had carefully explained to him regarding Parasitic Beasts. In the early stages, Parasitic Beasts are quite ignorant, but as they interact with the outside world, their intelligence increases along with their destructiveness. Whatever the host learns to use, they can learn and master right away.

This is one of the main reasons they produce such a significant impact.

However, the Parasitic Beasts Luo Yirui encountered here were completely different. After parasitizing, they seemed to be left with only slaughter!

”It might be hungry. You have more meat, stand in front of me. Once it’s full, it won’t attack me anymore,” Luo Yirui said.

Little Fatty looked at him in horror, ”So this is who you really are, Luo Yirui!”

Luo Yirui took out a fighting talisman from the inside pocket of his clothes and took a deep breath, ”Alright, let’s bring out everything we’ve got. We are going to face a tough battle next!”

They might not be afraid of ordinary adults, but it’s a different story with the vertical pupils. Having witnessed vertical pupils fighting each other, they knew that their little bodies might not even be enough to fill the gaps between the vertical pupils’ teeth.

Little Fatty immediately took out two fighting talismans and held them in his hand, his palms sweating. He had never encountered a situation like this before.

The glass rooms here were all independent, so the corridors and passages formed a complex network. Luo Yirui and Little Fatty felt that by running in different directions, they might not be caught by that thing for a while. But...

Luo Yirui felt that things wouldn’t be so simple.

”I’ll divert it, you sneak up behind and give it a blow!” Luo Yirui said in a low voice to Little Fatty.

Little Fatty immediately nodded; a sneak attack was indeed a great idea.

Luo Yirui took a step forward, and with his movement, the vertical pupil reacted. It slowly lifted its head, its face eerily devoid of any expression, only its bright vertical pupils locked onto Luo Yirui without blinking.

Behind him, Little Fatty, when seeing Luo Yirui attract the vertical pupil’s attention, quickly darted aside and hid behind the glass room, keeping his eyes on the vertical pupil’s movements.

When Luo Yirui saw the vertical pupil notice him, he turned and ran toward the left passage. The vertical pupil immediately reacted, stepping forward and chasing him, its speed not slow at all.

Seeing this speed, Little Fatty shivered all over, wondering if the Nie Family intended to create biological weapons with these creatures.

Luo Yirui was fast too, but despite his best efforts, he couldn’t outrun the vertical pupil. He reached back and used a Paralysis Talisman on the vertical pupil, which slowed its movements slightly.

He breathed a sigh of relief; as long as the Paralysis Talisman worked, it was fine.

”Strike now!” Luo Yirui shouted.
