Rebirth in the 90s: Her Counterattack and Redemption

Chapter 1047: Chapter 615: Entering the Inner Circle

Shanghai.

The second day of the third International Fashion Week, at the central grand stage, the fashion show is in full swing, while the backstage is a chaotic scene.

Nala Xueyan glanced at the time, furrowing her brow, the L.L. show was about to begin, but Miss hasn’t arrived yet? She pondered for a moment and turned to assistant Qian Lulu: ”Assistant Qian, I’ll go check if Miss is done, please keep an eye on things here.”

”Alright, rest assured, I won’t drop the ball.” Fully aware that she was the boss’s trusted confidant, Qian Lu was very polite.

Yanyan nodded and turned to walk upstairs.

”Ring ring ring...” Halfway there, the phone rang frantically, she took it out and quickly pressed the answer button, ”Yanyan, is Lianlian with you?” As soon as she answered, Luo Ye’s anxious voice came through.

”Miss Ye’er, Miss isn’t with me, I’m just about to go upstairs to find her, the organizers set up a designer lounge on the third floor, Miss went upstairs because it was too noisy.”

Luo Ye’s heart sank: ”Go up and check if she’s there!”

Having failed to reach Luo Lian’s phone, she then dialed Liu Xing’s Little Aunt Yao Qian’s number, but again couldn’t get through, only then did she turn to Yanyan’s phone.

Luo Lian brought Yanyan to the fashion week, which she knew, at that time, she wanted to have bodyguards follow, but Luo Lian vetoed it.

Six months ago, Luo Lian voluntarily gave up L.L.’s foreign inheritance rights and severed ties with Monique and those sisters, thereby forcing her to dismiss all bodyguards.

If she had known there might be danger, she should have insisted.

From the other end of the line, Yanyan’s ”thump thump” footsteps and rapid panting were clearly heard, then the sound of the room door opening made Luo Ye’s heart jump to her throat.

”Miss Ye’er, Miss is not here!” Though she didn’t know what was happening, Luo Ye’s urgent search made Yanyan panic too.

Luo Ye ordered: ”Go find Designer Yao Qian, if she’s there, have her speak to me!”

”Yes!” Yanyan responded, quickly ran to Yao Qian’s room, pushed the door open and saw the other lying on the sofa asleep, she didn’t bother with politeness, took a few quick steps over to shake her: ”Designer Yao, could you please take a call?”

Yao Qian’s body moved a bit, and she made ”mmm mmm” sounds.

Realizing something was wrong, Yanyan quickly pulled aside the blanket from her, only to see Yao Qian’s hands and feet tied, and her mouth sealed tightly with transparent tape.

”I’ll untie you right away, don’t worry.” Yanyan spoke as she quickly freed Yao Qian, ”Phew...” Yao Qian let out a long breath, reached out, ”Miss Nala, give me the phone.”

As the phone changed hands, Luo Ye urgently asked: ”Aunt Qian, Liu Xing said you saw Lianlian being taken, what happened?”

”Miss Luo, my room is diagonally opposite to Luo Lian’s room, at that time my door was slightly ajar, I saw her enter and wanted to go over to chat with her.”

However, as soon as I stepped outside, I saw two strong men in suits dragging her out, her mouth seemed to be covered.

You know, after my husband’s incident, I’m braver than most. Initially, I wanted to call the police, but feared it might misinterpret and affect Luo Lian’s reputation.

Knowing your close relationship with Luo Lian, I called Xingxing to notify you. As soon as I finished the call and entered the room, I felt a sharp pain in my head.

When I woke up, I was tied on the sofa, based on my guess, the other party probably heard me make the call to Xingxing.”

Luo Ye tightly furrowed her brows: ”Were the two men Chinese or foreigners, did Aunt Qian notice?”

Yao Qian affirmed: ”Although they wore sunglasses and low-brimmed hats, I can definitely confirm they were foreigners.”

”Thank you, Aunt Qian, I’ll send someone to handle this matter, please just enjoy attending the fashion week.” Sensing some nervousness on Yao Qian’s side, Luo Ye comforted, ”Aunt Qian, they left you tied up in the room, it shows they didn’t intend to harm you, don’t worry.”

”Thank you, Luoluo, I understand...”

”Wait!” Yanyan interjected as she hurriedly grabbed the phone, ”Luoluo, this must be done by Lisha and Alice, it’s my fault Miss got into trouble, even if it costs my life, I will save Miss.”

Luo Ye sighed lightly: ”Yanyan, if you truly care for Lianlian, manage the fashion week business well, I’ll take care of the rest.”

Yanyan’s voice carried the sound of crying: ”But, with this happening, I can’t focus at all, if anything happens to Miss, what is the point of the fashion show? It’s not me imagining things, it’s that I know those sisters too well, given their viciousness, they’ll definitely be ruthless to Miss.”
