Rebirth in the 90s: Her Counterattack and Redemption

Chapter 1022: Chapter 596: Cooperating with the Yu Family

”Young Master, just like Ye Xuan reminded us, given my current situation, either don’t get involved in management or invest too much of the funds in charity.

But neither choice is fair to you, so I hope the Young Master considers carefully. After all, you are the successor of the Qu Family. If you focus too much energy here, could it lead to family conflicts...”

Qu Yue interrupted Luo Ye: ”No, in just a few short years, Liangyou has developed to such a scale, and the elders are very gratified. Although I am the predetermined successor of the Qu Family, my parents’ generation is still young. I don’t need to worry about the Qu Family’s affairs for at least the next fifteen years.

Fifteen years later, Liangyou should have already entered the track, and it won’t require too much effort. Balancing both aspects should not be a problem, so the things Ye’er is worried about won’t happen. My only request is that Ye’er does not withdraw. Is that okay?”

”Young Master...” Luo Ye hesitantly looked at Qu Yue, ”Let me think about it carefully, okay?”

”What’s there to think about? What you’re worried about is not being able to be involved in management, just taking profits, right? Then, according to the second method, during holidays, Ye’er can come to Liangyou to help, and Liangyou will allocate 30% of its net profits to charity each year.

If we do this and people still make trouble, I believe the elders won’t sit idly by, and the final result will only be beneficial to us. What do you think?”

”Alright, I’ll listen to you.” Luo Ye smiled with relief, ”I decided this not only because I trust the Young Master’s character but also for another reason.

Since joining the army, there’s no way to avoid contact with veterans, so from now on, Liangyou’s employees will give priority to hiring veterans. How about that?”

Qu Yue smiled happily: ”No problem, this is even more reassuring.”

”Alright then, let’s draft the bidding document now, and I’ll go bid with the Young Master.”

”Ye’er, thank you...” Qu Yue paused, ”Also, please tell the Handsome Ye not to worry, I will only be his friend.”

Luo Ye glared at him: ”Alright, stop being so sentimental.”

”Alright, take a look at this.” Qu Yue handed his drafted bidding document to Luo Ye, smiling contentedly, ”Being able to see Ye’er often is the happiest thing.”

”Oh, your style.” Luo Ye sulked, ”When you have a girlfriend, don’t talk nonsense again, or else, if your girlfriend bullies you, Ye Xuan will come settle accounts with you.”

Qu Yue speechlessly covered his forehead: ”Let’s not discuss when I can find a girlfriend. With your skills, who can bully you?”

”I’m in the wrong, don’t dare to fight back, isn’t that being bullied?” Luo Ye gave him a glance, ”Young Master, do you want me to introduce you to a nice girl?”

”No need, with such a handsome man like me, why need introductions? Just a flick of the finger, and beautiful girls flock over.” Qu Yue posed exaggeratedly, ”Whenever I feel like it, I’ll choose one, by then, Ye’er can’t be jealous.”

Luo Ye nodded: ”I know, but the Young Master’s girlfriend must pass our check, right? Women understand women better, don’t they? Anyway, with someone as good as the Young Master, being deceived won’t do.”

”For Ye’er to evaluate, that’s essential.” Qu Yue tossed his hair arrogantly, ”Just fear Ye’er will be dazzled by beauty.”

Luo Ye: ”Uh...”

The next day, Luo Ye and Qu Yue submitted the bidding documents and attended the bid three days later.

On the day, besides Liangyou, there were four large enterprises from Sha City participating in the bid, naturally aiming for cooperation with the Yu Family.

The result was, of course, not surprising. With Liangyou’s national chain strength, Sha City’s local enterprises simply couldn’t compete.

After the result was announced, it was time for the two cooperating parties to meet; the meeting point — the large conference room at the Investment Office.

Mr. Yu personally attended from the Yu Family, inviting Luo Ye by name. Perhaps Mr. Yu had been waiting for this day for a long time.

Wearing a blue cloth shirt and stepping into square mouth soft sole cloth shoes, the old face was dotted with some age spots. Although not much older than Old Master Wen, Mr. Yu appeared much older.

”Mr. Yu, it’s an honor to meet you.” When the other party entered, Luo Ye quickly got up to greet him first.

Mr. Yu nodded and solemnly pointed to the chair: ”Sit down.”

Qu Yue frowned, Luo Ye quickly tugged at him lightly, ”Mr. Yu, let’s discuss the next steps.” Qu Yue changed his tone temporarily.

”Specifically, I’ll discuss with you.” A middle-aged man accompanying Mr. Yu nodded at Qu Yue, ”Could we go out and talk privately?”
