”You want to save him? Then come over here!”

A Niflgaard soldier held Stuart’s left arm outstretched, while Duke Adal shouted and swung his iron scepter!

With a ”clang,” Stuart’s arm armor, along with the flesh and blood wrapped inside, was smashed into a twisted shape.

Lann’s mouth twitched as he ran madly, his eyes fixed on Adal.

”[Alder]!”

”Bang!”

The Demon Hunter raised his left arm, and a projectile propelled by a Magic Seal shot towards the head at supersonic speed.

But...”Block it!”

Beneath Adal’s chariot, Darkley shouted fiercely!

Immediately, a burly Skellige man leaped up with a shield, directly blocking the path of the projectile.

The shield looked like nothing more than a wooden painted item, not even reinforced with metal edges.

Yet the supersonic projectile bounced off after hitting it!

Even at the impact point, the air rippled transparently due to the force, but the shield remained unscathed!

Adal laughed maniacally, as if he had anticipated this scene.

Once more, he swung his scepter and ”clang,” struck Hacksaw in the back, causing him to spit out a large mouthful of blood.

”Is that all you’ve got? With this measly skill, you dare to turn back? Dare to face me, Demon Hunter?! You can’t save him, or his son, or anyone! What do you think you can achieve? You can’t even break an Enchanted Shield I casually took from the warehouse!”

Lann watched as Adal swung the scepter, his eyes turned blood-red, his handsome face twitching uncontrollably.

”I will kill you... I will kill all of you! I will let your blood stain every piece of land! Even every grain of sand! I will chop off all your heads and pile them up together! Staring towards Golden Pagoda City! Looking at your homeland where you can never return!”

Lann didn’t roar; he spoke as if narrating. If one didn’t see his expression, the listeners might think it was an indisputable account of history.

Once again, Adal swung the scepter, with a ’clang,’ hit Stuart in the ribs! This strike deformed the young knight’s body.

He sneered, ”A curse? Do you know how many times I’ve heard such rubbish?”

”You think Niflgaard hasn’t heard many curses while crushing the entire South? Do you think our warriors haven’t killed many Mages and Curse Masters? Do you think a great Empire rising would fear resentment and revenge?”

”If those things worked, what’s the point of steel and strength?!”

”How ridiculous, Demon Hunter! I thought you might have some unique skills!”

Darkley beneath the chariot watched expectantly as Adal used his punishment and words towards Hacksaw and Stuart to manipulate Lann’s emotions.

Deep enough... The Demon Hunter was about to be deeply trapped in the formation!

After all, he was just a young man who could fight a little better.

Darkley thought leisurely.

But then suddenly...

Neither Duke Adal, provoking Lann’s rationality from the chariot, nor Darkley, ready to give orders from below, all froze.

Because they saw that Lann, who seemed blinded by rage, suddenly changed direction on his linear path!

The Demon Hunter took a deep breath, and when he exhaled, the twitching muscles, the angry gaze... all vanished like frost in sunlight.

What remained was a cold, calm face.

”Boom!!!”

Beneath his feet, the spiral airflow whipped up by [Acceleration Spell], after Lann changed direction, the Niflgaard Army could no longer react.

Thus, a 300-kilogram humanoid creature clad in Valyrian Steel Armor, maintaining a sprint speed at Olympic sprint champion level... charged directly into the Niflgaard people’s formation!

”Whoa! Bang!”

”Wha...bang!”

Like a truck crashing into a crowd without slowing down, Lann’s body carved a ’blood path’ through the Niflgaard infantry!

The individuals hit had apparent dents or deformed bodies in their chest armor or other contact areas.

A silver flash swept from his waist, cutting ten meters ahead clean as a whistle when the impact was hindered by the walls of men.

Blood splattered into the sky, its scent turning foul as it met the hot air from the wildfires.

Darkley was suddenly shocked.

”That direction...”

His initially relaxed eyes now seemed to bulge out!

Immediately, he roared frantically.

”Warlock!”

On the chariot, Adal was not sharp enough to understand the situation, while the Spiritual Master was as shocked as Darkley!

”Protect the Warlock! His target is the Warlock!”

From the beginning, he was heading for the Warlock!

...But how?

How did he know where the Warlock was resting?

Hadn’t he just arrived?!

Questions kept flooding his mind, but now was not the time to delve into them. They had to protect the Warlock first!

Darkley clenched the hand of the Spiritual Master behind him, the immense pressure making Joanna think her hand bones were about to break!

”Everyone, move in! Now!”

”But he doesn’t have enough people around him...”

”Move in! As many as you can! Everyone else, head over there!”

Darkley glared at the Spiritual Master, his eyes seemingly conveying: If you don’t act, you won’t live either.

Joanna decisively began to activate her telepathy abilities.

Darkley himself charged out from under the chassis.

Once the orders were given, the formation breached by Lann started to react.

From tricky angles, several iron chains, like living venomous snakes, lunged at Lann from the crowd.

These were iron chains temporarily enchanted with magic!

Lann seemed to stumble mid-charge, and his left hand was ensnared by a chain. The magic on the chain activated, automatically tightening.

Now, more chains immediately wrapped around his restrained left hand.

A rough count showed about six chains, each held by three skilled men arranged by Darkley.

The three men believed this should be enough to make Lann halt.

But unexpectedly, the moment they all launched... ’ssscreech’!

The sound pierced from their gloves, leather or iron, on their palms!

Having undergone dual reinforcement of bones and muscles, Lann’s sheer strength was approaching three tons!

If they had time to call in the surrounding soldiers to help pull, they might have halted Lann and even restricted his movement.

But Lann had maintained his momentum from start to finish.

So at the moment the chains wrapped around, these men didn’t even manage to react, simply being dragged along!

Then stumbling, three of them believed themselves steadied.

The surrounding Niflgaard soldiers immediately grabbed the chains alongside them.

And next to Lann, there were plenty of soldiers, pointing their longswords and spears at the Demon Hunter, ready to strike.

However, the first three holding the chain realized: it was not that the Demon Hunter had run out of strength...

But rather, he had already reached his destination!

Lann’s eyes were narrowed to a slit, and in his [Spiritual Vision], the largest Chaos Magic Power aggregate was just behind two layers of human walls.

So with his left hand wrapped in chains, he gripped the sheath of the Lady of the Lake’s Sword, raising it in front of him.

And the beautifully curved blade, at some unspecified time, had already returned to its sheath.

Strangely, at that moment, everyone standing before Lann felt a surge of breathlessness.

As if... the air was being drawn away by something.

And finally, the Demon Hunter completed sheathing the sword.
