The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2544 The fate of the Royal Guards

The three figures chained within the main square of the Dark Blood Kingdomʼs capital were anything but ordinary.

One was a massive dragon, its colossal body radiating ancient power, yet where eyes should have been, only jagged horns protruded, giving it a terrifying, otherworldly appearance. The second was a towering dino-warrior clad in obsidian armor, its form emanating brute strength and unyielding resilience. The third was a humanoid figure with smooth, milky-white skin, whose calm expression concealed an abyss of power and will.

Of course, the trio was none other than the Royal Guards of the Ocean of the Blood Sun-Satan, Hades, and Morningstar.

After the Dark Blood King learned of the Scarlet Kingʼs blatant betrayal, he had gone far beyond mere surveillance. He had personally ordered their capture and imprisonment, chaining them within the heart of his capital and waiting for this exact moment.

Surrounding the three restrained figures stood the most powerful beings of the Ninth Realm. General Averus and General Faust stood at the forefront, their auras heavy and oppressive. Beside them were the Heartcream King and the Evernight Queen, both radiating immense authority. Several other Royal Blutlinie elites were also present, forming a circle of overwhelming power around the chained trio. Yet despite their strength, the expressions on their faces were grim. The tales of the Scarlet Kingʼs exploits in the Eighth Realm had already spread throughout the Ninth Realm, and they had brought nothing but fear. The sheer scale of his power had shaken even the most arrogant among them.

For Averus and the Heartcream King, the fear was even deeper.

After all, they had once tried to kill the Scarlet King.

Back then, they had not cared. In their eyes, no matter how much

Cain grew, he would never reach a level where he could ignore the authority of the Dark Blood King.

But reality had proven them wrong.

Not only had Cain reached that level-

He had surpassed it.

He had slain Shakra.

He had brought down the Nirvana Crown Prince.

Both were beings at the level of a Realm Ruler.

Now, that same man was coming here.

And none of them believed he would be satisfied with merely reclaiming the missing fragment of the Sacred Armor.

The moment the Dark Blood King arrived at the main square, all eyes turned toward him.

If there was anyone who could lead them through this crisis, it would be him.

He could feel their gazes-filled with expectation, fear, and desperation.

Normally, being the center of attention pleased him. It reinforced his belief that he was the pinnacle of the Ninth Realm, the one destined to elevate it from its status as the weakest among the Nine Realms of Paradise.

But now-

Those gazes felt suffocating.

The pressure they carried only worsened the storm brewing within his heart.

Still, the Dark Blood King revealed none of it.

His face remained cold and composed as he stepped forward, stopping before the three Royal Guards.

He looked at them with overwhelming killing intent.

Yet the trio did not flinch.

Their gazes remained steady, filled with nothing but cold determination. Not a trace of fear could be found in their eyes.

Though they possessed their own personalities and wills, they had been forged using Cainʼs Primordial Essence. In a sense, they were extensions of him-his legacy given form.

Calling them his sons would not have been inaccurate.

And the strength of their will proved they were worthy of such a title. ”Hmph.”

The Dark Blood King sneered, though the envy in his heart only grew stronger.

The Royal Guards were powerful, with the potential to reach the level of King-tier existences. But more importantly, they possessed something his own subordinates lacked-

Absolute loyalty.

None of his generals, nor even the kings beneath him, could match it.

Taking a deep breath, the Dark Blood King raised his hand.

At once, a massive projection spread across the sky. The image of the main square appeared above countless cities, fortresses, and strongholds throughout the Ninth Realm, ensuring that every corner of the realm bore witness to what was about to unfold.

Once he confirmed that all were watching, he spoke. ”Scarlet King. Hear my words.”

His voice was cold and ruthless, every trace of hesitation buried beneath layers of discipline.

Far away, Cain saw the projection and heard the voice.

But he did not stop.

He continued forward, his figure streaking across the sky like a blazing comet. At his current speed, it would take less than ten minutes to reach the Dark Blood Kingdom.

The Dark Blood King knew this.

Yet he remained calm and continued speaking. ”These three have accompanied you throughout your entire journey. Before you even emerged from the Ocean of the Blood Sun, they protected you and fought by your side. Even now, after being captured and tortured, they have not betrayed you.”

A mocking tone crept into his voice. ”And yet you left them behind... as if they were nothing more than disposable pawns.”

His gaze sharpened. ”Is this how you treat those who show you unwavering loyalty?”

His words carried accusation and intent.

While Royal Blutlinie rarely cared for concepts like loyalty, this was different. If the Scarlet King could abandon those who had fought for him so faithfully, then how could anyone trust him?

The message was clear.

Cain could not be relied upon.

He could not be allied with.

Yet despite hearing everything, Cainʼs expression did not change.

His face remained calm.

Cold.

Focused.

And he moved even faster.

The Dark Blood Kingʼs eyes narrowed as he finally saw it-a golden shooting star in the distance, approaching with terrifying speed. Raising his hand, he unleashed his power.

A gigantic hand formed from pure darkness manifested above the three Royal Guards, radiating destructive force. ”If you do not stop now,” the Dark Blood King said coldly, ”I will crush their bodies and souls. I will erase those who trusted you... those who placed their lives in your hands.”

The threat echoed across the entire realm.

And then-

The golden shooting star came to an abrupt halt.
