The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2518: Nito

Anark’s massive body sat motionless in the void, resembling a silent cosmic colossus as the Crimson Exarch underwent the Inheritance of the Flesh within him.

The process was anything but subtle.

World Strength surged into Noah’s body at a terrifying speed. The flow was so intense that space itself began to distort around Anark’s form. A faint event horizon started to take shape, bending light and energy as if a miniature singularity were forming around the True Primordial of the Void.

Yet that phenomenon was only the beginning.

The Primordial Forces within Anark’s body reacted violently, resonating with Noah’s existence. Waves of ancient power rose and fell like a cosmic tide, each pulse growing stronger than the last.

It was already clear—

Even among Primordials, Noah’s transcendence would be something extraordinary.

However, this was not the only major event unfolding within the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.

Far away, the Worlds of the Root were in turmoil.

The combined life force of the two mutated Empyrean Worlds surged wildly, struggling to repair the catastrophic damage caused by the recent battle.

The First Layer was beyond saving for now.

But the greater concern lay in the Second Layer.

Entire continents from above had collapsed into it, destabilizing its structure. If that damage was not contained, the next assault from the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance could shatter the weakened layer in mere minutes.

The world itself reacted instinctively.

Vast currents of corrupted vitality spread through the layers, reinforcing weakened regions and attempting to stabilize the collapsing terrain.

Meanwhile, the High Lords and Champions of the Root worked tirelessly to guide that process, channeling the world’s energy to prevent total collapse.

Deep within the core of the Worlds of the Root—

Two figures stood in silence.

Robuke, the Monster of the Root.

And Mikela, the Warlock of the Root.

Both were immersed in the essence of the world, drawing upon its power to heal their damaged souls.

Despite the restoration, their expressions remained dark and solemn.

They were not weak beings.

On the contrary, they were among the most powerful entities within the Root’s hierarchy. Both had participated in the assimilation of multiple universes before.

But this time—

They had been in command.

This was their campaign.

Their opportunity.

Success would have elevated them beyond their current limits. The Root would have rewarded them by evolving their existence past the Third Realm, granting them the status of Emperors of the Root.

There were only a handful of such beings.

And each one was terrifying.

Entities capable of controlling entire universes.

Commanders of armies powerful enough to threaten even Fourth Realm lifeforms.

Fortunately for the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, the distances between universes were incomprehensibly vast. Even Emperors of the Root could not cross them quickly. It would take hundreds of thousands of years to traverse such distances without preparation.

That was why the Root used Hearts of the Root—anchors that opened pathways between universes.

Like the one Cain had destroyed after awakening the Power of Chaos.

But none of that mattered now.

What mattered was the power available within the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.

And it was not enough.

Robuke and Mikela had nearly died in their last battle.

If things continued like this—

Their future would hold nothing but death and oblivion.

They needed to change something.

Immediately.

As those thoughts crossed their minds—

Space within the core trembled.

Then—

A figure emerged.

Darkness wrapped around him like a living shroud, concealing everything except a pair of glowing purple eyes.

Robuke and Mikela’s gazes sharpened instantly.

Recognition followed.

And with it—

Rage.

”Nito!”

Robuke did not hold back.

”What was that?!” he roared.

His aura erupted violently, causing the very essence of the Worlds of the Root to react. Corrupted energy flooded the area, amplifying his fury into an overwhelming pressure.

”Your forces were supposed to support us against the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance!” he continued. ”Instead, they arrived at the last moment—after we had already suffered crippling damage—and then they were defeated by the Crimson Exarch!”

The pressure intensified.

”What is the point of forming an alliance with you if you cannot uphold your end of the deal?!”

Beside him, Mikela remained silent.

But the coldness in her eyes spoke volumes.

Her power rose in tandem with Robuke’s, the two forces merging into something suffocating.

The combined pressure was immense—

Enough to overwhelm even a Peak Alpha Omega Overgod.

Nito stood still.

Silent.

For a moment, it seemed as though he was unable to respond under the crushing weight of their combined power.

But then—

His purple eyes glowed.

And something appeared before him.

A wheel.

It was unlike anything they had seen before.

The wheel contained six distinct realms, each representing a different state of existence and rebirth. Every section radiated profound cosmic power, each one embodying a fundamental aspect of life, death, and transformation.

The moment it appeared—

Everything changed.

The wheel began to rotate slowly.

And as it did—

The pressure unleashed by Robuke and Mikela twisted.

Distorted.

Reversed.

It surged back toward them.

The backlash struck instantly.

Both were blasted backward, their massive forms crashing violently as blood erupted from their mouths.

The reversal was absolute.

It was true that they were weakened from their previous battle.

But even so—

To be overpowered so completely, within the core of the Worlds of the Root itself—

Was terrifying.

Nito gazed at them calmly.

There was no attempt to hide his expression.

Only disdain.

And disgust.

”I don’t like you,” he said coldly.

”I consider you aberrations.”

”Bottom-feeding mutations.”

His voice carried no emotion—only judgment.

”I would rather swim through garbage than work with your kind.”

The wheel behind him continued to rotate, its presence growing heavier with each passing second.

”If it were up to me...”

His purple eyes burned brighter.

”I would have erased your species from the universe long ago.”

The pressure intensified further.

”And then marched into the Emptiness itself...”

”...to purge every last one of you from existence.”

With every word Nito spoke, the power of the wheel increased.

Robuke and Mikela felt it deep within their souls.

If the power of that wheel were unleashed, it would inflict catastrophic damage upon their Primordial Essence. They did not fully understand its nature, but the cosmic forces behind it were unmistakably terrifying. It was not a power that simply destroyed flesh or overwhelmed regeneration—it went far beyond that.

It targeted the very core of existence.

Their identities.

Their consciousness.

Their will.

The realization sent a chill through them.

For beings of the Root, such a fate was worse than death.

They had spent eons evolving, breaking free from the limitations imposed upon their kind. Through countless battles and endless consumption, they had gained individuality—the ability to think, decide, and act for themselves.

To lose that...

To be reduced once more to mindless puppets under the absolute will of the Root—

Was a horror they could not accept.

Fortunately for them, the oppressive power of Nito began to recede.

The rotation of the wheel slowed, and the suffocating pressure gradually diminished. At the same time, the cold intensity in Nito’s purple eyes softened—though only slightly.

”Luckily for you,” Nito said calmly, his voice carrying quiet authority, ”my King has decreed that we must support the Root in this war against the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance.”

He paused, letting his words sink in.

”And we will.”

His gaze sharpened once more.

”From now on, you will do everything I say.”

A brief silence followed.

”And if you deviate in the slightest...”

Nito turned his eyes upward, toward the higher layers of the Worlds of the Root—toward the domain of the High Lords.

”I will simply find someone else to take your place.”

His tone remained indifferent.

”I am certain there are many who would be eager to assume leadership of this world.”

Robuke and Mikela trembled.

Not from fear of pain—

But from understanding.

Within the forces of the Root, there was no true loyalty.

Only obedience.

A hierarchy enforced by the will of the Root itself.

And that hierarchy was not fixed.

If a more suitable candidate appeared, the Root would not hesitate to strip them of their authority. Worse still, the High Lords would not question such a decision—they would act on it.

And ”acting” would mean devouring them.

With Nito’s support, such a replacement would not be difficult.

Robuke and Mikela exchanged a glance.

Their expressions were complex.

They were supposed to be conquerors—invaders who stood above all, beings whose will would spread across entire universes.

Yet now—

They had been reduced to little more than subordinates.

Lackeys.

The humiliation was immense.

But neither of them broke.

A cold, calculating light emerged in their eyes.

They lowered their heads.

And nodded.

They would endure.

They would accept this humiliation.

For now.

Because they understood something fundamental—

Power was everything.

And once they regained theirs...

Once they reached their peak again...

Once they consumed the life force and worlds of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe—

They would reclaim everything that had been taken from them.

With interest.

They hid their emotions well.

Their submission appeared genuine.

But Nito’s purple eyes saw far deeper than that. He could peer directly into their hearts and see the resentment and ambition.

The hatred.

And yet—

He did not care.

Because Robuke and Mikela still did not understand one crucial truth:

They had no idea who they were truly dealing with.

Nor did they comprehend the kind of power held by the King of the Tenth Empyrean World.
