The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2514: The Power of Order spreads across the alliance

The battle across the Worlds of the Root soon reached a critical point.

Both the Monster of the Root and the Warlock of the Root had suffered severe wounds during the brutal clashes. Yet thanks to the endless infusion of vitality flowing from the Worlds of the Root themselves, neither of them was close to dying. The corrupted world continuously nourished them, feeding their bodies with dark life force that restored torn flesh and stabilized wounded souls.

On the other hand, the forces of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance were nearing their limits.

They had endured the corrupted radiation of the Worlds of the Root for far too long. The toxic energy seeped into every layer of existence—body, soul, and energy. Even the specially engineered bloodlines and protective runes crafted by the Alliance were beginning to fail under the relentless corruption.

Warriors staggered as their auras weakened.

Their breathing grew heavy.

Their souls trembled under the pressure of the hostile environment.

Anark clenched his teeth as he observed the battlefield.

They had achieved something extraordinary.

The First Layer of the Worlds of the Root had been shattered. Millions of abominations had been destroyed. Entire continents had collapsed into the layers below.

It was a massive accomplishment.

Yet the war was far from over.

Robuke still lived.

Mikela still stood.

The Higher Lords and Champions of the Root had not been annihilated.

And now the Curse Eaters of the Tenth Empyrean Worlds had entered the conflict.

The True Primordial of the Void wanted nothing more than to continue fighting—to crush Robuke into dust and erase every trace of the Monster of the Root from existence.

But that would not happen today.

Not with the condition of their army.

Not with the unknown threat that had just appeared.

After a long breath, Anark rose higher into the void and shouted with absolute authority.

”Retreat!”

The command echoed across the battlefield.

The warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance immediately began withdrawing. Despite exhaustion and injury, their retreat was disciplined and orderly.

Formations shifted smoothly.

Rear guards formed defensive barriers.

Every movement was calculated to prevent the forces of the Root from exploiting even the smallest opening.

It took tremendous effort.

But one by one, the armies of the Alliance withdrew through the shattered opening in the Wall of Flesh and Fire, returning to the safety of the void.

They completed their retreat just in time.

Behind them, the monstrous wound carved into the wall of the Worlds of the Root was already beginning to regenerate. Living flesh twisted and sealed itself together. Flames roared back into existence.

Within minutes, the entrance would vanish completely.

Robuke and Mikela did not pursue.

Their souls burned with hatred and humiliation after suffering such a resounding defeat at the hands of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance.

Yet they did not dare to leave the confines of the Worlds of the Root.

By now it was painfully clear which side held the advantage in open battle.

Shortly after Anark, Meylin, and the surviving warriors emerged into the void, their attention shifted toward a distant battlefield.

There, they saw a clash of terrifying power.

The Crimson Exarch fighting against the two Curse Eaters.

The battle was astonishing.

Jason and Elizabeth unleashed overwhelming spiritual force again and again. Their energy reserves seemed almost endless, waves of power flooding the void like dark tides.

Meanwhile, the Crimson Exarch fought with relentless brilliance.

Noah constantly drew energy from the universe itself, weaving it into his own power through the Flow and converting it into golden plasma attacks that lit the void like miniature suns.

Noah dodged a vicious sweep of Elizabeth’s trident that aimed to sever his head.

In the same motion, he turned both guns to the side and unleashed a torrent of flaming golden plasma that forced Jason backward.

But Elizabeth did not stop.

She twisted her weapon mid-motion and drove the base of the shaft backward like a spear.

Despite Noah’s incredible reflexes and his uncanny ability to predict enemy movements, prediction alone did not always guarantee survival.

The shaft of the trident slammed into the space between his ribs.

A cracking sound echoed through the void as the blow hurled him into the distance.

Yet not even a second later, Noah regained control of his body.

Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

But his red eyes burned with excitement.

A wide smile appeared on his face.

For Noah, this battle was not merely life or death.

It was practice.

The Curse Eaters knew it.

And the humiliation stung worse than any wound.

This was supposed to be their moment.

The moment when the Curse Eaters of the Tenth Empyrean Worlds would descend upon the battlefield and demonstrate the overwhelming supremacy of their power—breaking the spirits of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance.

Instead, their arrival had only exposed their limitations.

Jason and Elizabeth glanced toward Anark and Meylin in the distance.

A frown formed on their faces.

They exchanged a silent look.

Then both sighed.

In the next moment, their bodies glowed with a deep red radiance.

And then—

They vanished.

The battlefield fell silent.

Noah stared at the empty void where the two Curse Eaters had disappeared.

Disappointment briefly crossed his face.

But after a moment, he simply shrugged.

His body dissolved into golden threads.

The next instant, he reappeared in front of the forces of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.

”Today was really full of surprises, wasn’t it?”

The Crimson Exarch spoke with a cheerful smile.

Yet the mood among the Alliance forces was far from celebratory.

They had lost too many comrades.

Too many warriors had fallen within the corrupted world.

And even though they had achieved a significant victory, the knowledge that a new enemy—the Curse Eaters—had entered the war weighed heavily upon them.

It was difficult to feel triumph.

However, as Noah’s red eyes swept across the gathered army, something changed.

The same confidence and excitement burning inside him began to spread through the soldiers.

Their hearts grew lighter.

Their morale rose.

Determination returned to their eyes.

That was the effect of the Power of Order.
