“Trace… trace over it?”

Zhou Xinghai’s joy faded in an instant. He had mixed feelings and was embarrassed.

“Just trace over it. If you’re unwilling, forget it.”

“Of course not. It’s a small matter,” Zhou Xinghai pretended to be calm.

Zhou Xinghai took the chalk and started tracing over Lin Yi’s phone number on the blackboard.

However, at this moment, his heart felt like it was bleeding.

What the f*ck was going on?!

“Lin Yi, I’ve added you on WeChat. Can you accept?”

“I’ll add you too. I’m the one called Peach.”

Hearing the girls’ words, Lin Yi took out his phone and realized that there were more than ten notifications. They were all friend requests.

The corner of Lin Yi’s eyes twitched. There were only a dozen girls in total. Were they all here to add him?

“You all wanted my phone number, so how come you’re adding me on WeChat now? That’s not very honest.”

“Hehe, just taking the opportunity. Hurry up and accept it.”

“Right, right, right. Judging by your accent, you must be from Zhonghai. My family is from out of town, so if 1 run into trouble, I’ll have to ask for your help. You can’t disdain us, okay?”

Lin Yi,”…”

“Zhou Xinghai is also a local. You can ask him for help.”

“He must be quite busy. I won’t waste his precious time.”

Zhou Xinghai,”???”

I’m not busy!

You guys can come and trouble me!

Originally, it was just a simple self-introduction. Each person should only take about half a minute.

But with Lin Yi, it took more than ten minutes for the female student to finish asking him everything.

During this process, they almost asked about the location of the ancestral grave.

He had no choice but to accept it.

In the next half an hour, everyone introduced themselves one after another and became familiar with each other.

“I’ve already introduced myself. Next, we’ll start choosing the team leaders. Whoever has such thoughts can come up to the stage and vote,” Li Xianghui said.

“After everyone has introduced themselves, we will now proceed to select the team leader. Anyone interested in taking on this role can come forward, and then we’ll have a vote,” said Li Xianghui.

“Brother Hai, Brother Hai, it’s time to choose the team leader. You should hurry up and go forward,” Ding Chao said excitedly.

Zhou Xinghai tidied up his clothes and walked towards the front desk.

But at this moment, Zhang Zixin said,

“Instructor Li, don’t go through so much trouble. We recommend Lin Yi to be the captain.”

“Yes, yes, yes. We all support Lin Yi.”

The other girls also echoed. The scene instantly became noisy and difficult to control.

“Instructor, let’s choose Lin Yi. You saw his performance in the afternoon. His level is very high,” Zhang Peng said.

Under the lead of the ten ladies, the others were also motivated.

Nobody really cared much about this matter since it didn’t decide anything. Moreover, Lin Yi had helped them train in the afternoon, so they didn’t mind choosing him.

“Zhou Xinghai, did you want to be team leader?”

Seeing Zhou Xinghai stand up, Li Xianghui asked.

“Well…”

Zhou Xinghai stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to do.

“I-I don’t want to be team leader. I just wanted to go to the toilet.”

“Alright, go ahead.”

Once the team leader was selected, the meeting ended. After that, it was time to eat. The rest of the day was free time.

After an afternoon of training, everyone gradually became familiar with each other.

During the meal, many girls gathered in front of Lin Yi, chatting and laughing as if they were good friends.

Zhou Xinghai and Ding Chao, who were sitting not far away, had stern expressions on their faces. The atmosphere was abnormally harsh.

“These girls are too shallow. They pounce on the handsome ones the moment they see them. They have no depth at all,” Ding Chao said.

“If they hadn’t jeered, you’d definitely have been elected. It’s because the rest were led astray that that pretty boy got away with it.”

“It doesn’t matter. It’s just a disciplinarian role. It doesn’t matter if I don’t do it. If I work harder on Instructor Gu, my future development will definitely be better than his.”

“But 1 think Instructor Li seems to think highly of him.”

“What’s the use of Instructor Li fancying him? Instructor Gu hates him. She’ll assign him elsewhere with just a single sentence. We don’t have to pay attention to him. As long as we help Instructor Gu deal with him, we will get our chance.”

“You’re right.”

After everyone had finished their meal, Lin Yi did not return to the dormitory. Instead, he found an empty area and called Ji Qingyan via video call.

“Have you eaten?”

In the video, Jiuzhou Pavilion was seated at their dining table.

“I just finished eating. I’m walking around to aid my digestion.”

“Have they issued the uniforms? Hurry up and put them on for me to see.” Ji Qingyan was a little excited.

“They only gave out a set of training clothes. You saw it during the day.”

“Forget about that set. It’s so loose that it doesn’t look good at all.” Ji Qingyan picked up a chicken wing and ate her watch.

“Why are you only showing me your chin? Where’s your face?”

“I was about to tell you about this. Before officially showing the video, you have to be mentally prepared.”

“It’s just a video. What’s there to be mentally prepared for?”

“Let me show you my new hairstyle.”

With that, Lin Yi pointed the camera at his face.

“Ah?

“Ah!”

Ji Qingyan screamed when she saw Lin Yi’s buzz cut.

“Why did you cut your hair?”

“Their rules state that you need these hairstyles. A few of us had to cut our long hair.”

Lin Yi rubbed his head. “I think it looks pretty good. Is there a need to show such a big reaction? This way, I don’t have to wash it every day. It’ll save me a lot of trouble.”

“It’s not as good-looking as before, but it’s more masculine.” Ji Qingyan pursed her lips and said.

“But there’s still room for improvement with this hairstyle of yours. When you come back, 1’11 take you to get your hair done. They can even make it look better.”

“Do I have a choice?”

“What do you think?” Ji Qingyan retorted.

After that, the two of them chatted for another twenty minutes before hanging up. They mostly talked about the afternoon training, but there was nothing substantive.

After hanging up the video call with Ji Qingyan, Lin Yi called Liang Ruoxu.

He realized that she was still in the office and had not returned home. She was wearing a white shirt and her chest looked especially round.

“President Lin, are you calling me at this time for something?”

Putting down the pen in her hand, Liang Ruoxu smiled and said,

“It’s nothing serious. It’s just a new hairstyle. I wanted to show you.”

Liang Ruoxu’s eyes lit up. “Really?”

Ji Qingyan was obsessed with looks, and Liang Ruoxu was no better. She was also very concerned about Lin Yi’s hairstyle.

When Lin Yi initially wanted to get a buzzcut, she was the one who strongly objected.

“Of course, it’s true. I just finished cutting it and was about to show you for your evaluation.”

“Quick, show me your face.”

“Sure thing.”

Lin Yi moved the camera, and Liang Ruoxu’s expression froze.

“You actually got a buzzcut!!! Don’t say that you know me in the future. This is so embarrassing..”
