I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 1217: Beware of the Mitsui Family

Kenji Takayama’s eyes widened.

His body fell heavily to the ground.

Even until his death, he still could not figure out what he had done wrong.

However, sometimes, the real answer wasn’t that important.

As long as the higher-ups think you are wrong, you deserve to die.

The sound of the gunshot scared the laboratory technicians so much that they could not speak.

Their faces were pale and his body was trembling. They looked at Yushi Mitsui in a daze.

However, Yushi Mitsui was no longer in the mood to explain to them.

Holding the black box in one hand and the walkie-talkie in the other, he said,

“Everyone, gather!”

With that, Yushi Mitsui carried the ore and hurried out.

However, as soon as the metal door of the laboratory opened, Yushi Mitsui stopped in his tracks. He was expressionless and did not dare to move.

This was because Lin Yi was standing outside the door!

However, Lin Yi had disguised himself and removed a piece of cloth from his clothes to cover his face.

But that didn’t stop Yushi Mitsui from recognizing Lin Yi.

Even if he turned into ashes, he would still recognize Lin Yi!

However, Lin Yi appeared in front of Yushi Mitsui alone. Ning Che was not here.

“You didn’t disappoint me. You really came,” Yushi Mitsui said.

Lin Yi looked down and saw the black box in Yushi Mitsui’s hand. Then, he saw Kenji Takayama lying in a pool of blood.

“Looks like you knew I’d come.”

“With your abilities and intelligence, you wouldn’t let anyone off once you get the slightest opportunity. He wouldn’t be able to escape from you.”

“No wonder you won the Nobel Prize in Medicine and became the chief scientist of the Mitsui family. You’re indeed special.” Lin Yi said.

“But this ends today. Give me the item and I’ll give you a peaceful death.”

“Hehe…”

Yuushi Mitsui smiled sinisterly. “I’ve been dormant in the Mitsui family for decades. Then, 1 took 14 years to secretly develop the Yamaguchi-gumi to this day. I also took seven years to set up this secret laboratory. Do you think I’ll give up so easily?”

“Of course not,” Lin Yi said, “Even bugs struggle when they die, let alone you.”

Mitsui took a few steps back, turning a deaf ear to Lin Yi’s insult.

“Because of him, my good luck has been messed up. This is due to my negligence, but today happens to be an opportunity. Someone has to die here, otherwise, it won’t end.”

“Don’t say it like that. You and I have no grudge, and I never thought of killing you, otherwise, 1 wouldn’t have left the island.” Lin Yi replied.

“But you’ve been eyeing me from the start, and in the end, you even captured my brother. You asked to exchange the ore with me, and after, you still tried to kill me to silence me. Did you really think I’m someone you can take advantage of? Or do you think the Yamaguchi-gumi is so formidable that they have the ability to kill me?”

“Why not? This is my secret laboratory. I’ve planned for so many years. Do you think I’d be so careless?”

As soon as he finished speaking, he heard messy footsteps coming from behind Lin Yi.

Lin Yi turned his head and saw a group of people rushing down from upstairs.

There were a total of 24 people.

However, he didn’t know how many of them had drunk the gene sequence serum.

This was Lin Yi’s biggest concern.

However, from the looks of it, less than half of them had drunk the gene sequence serum.

What was more difficult was that these people had guns in their hands! n/(𝗼-.𝑣//𝑬.-𝒍)/𝔅-/1-/n

It didn’t matter if a single bullet hit him, but he couldn’t withstand a volley of bullets.

“If you had come a minute later, 1 would have left this place, but you came at a very bad time.” Yushi Mitsui said,

“Even if you reached D-class, you won’t be a match for the gun.”

“So? Is that why you think you can keep being so arrogant in front of me?”

“Yes, this is my reasoning.”

The corners of Yushi Mitsui’s mouth curled up into a sinister smile.

“If you’re willing to agree to work with me now, I promise you won’t die. I can also guarantee your status in the Yamaguchi-gumi as my equal. However, with your personality, you definitely won’t agree, so this is goodbye.”

With that said, Yushi Mitsui whispered,

“Do it!”

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Boom, boom, boom!

Just as Yushi Mitsui’s subordinates were about to attack, they suddenly heard a series of explosions.

This scene surprised everyone.

Except for Lin Yi.

They suddenly looked in the direction of the stairs and saw a tall woman standing at the top of it. She was holding two gasoline bottles and throwing them at the crowd!

Explosions sounded again, and the sea of fire began to spread.

More than 20 of Mitsui’s subordinates were caught in the sea of fire!

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

In her panic, they fired at Ning Che, trying to kill this woman who had come to obstruct them!

Yushi Mitsui, who was in the laboratory, narrowed his eyes.

He gritted his teeth so hard that they were about to shatter!

He didn’t expect Lin Yi to have this trick up his sleeve!

Lin Yi took out the dagger on his waist and rushed in front of Yushi Mitsui!

It pierced straight into his abdomen!

Puff!

A mouthful of blood gushed out from Yushi Mitsui’s mouth. His eyes went wide open, and his stamina started rapidly depleting. He could no longer support his body as he leaned towards Lin Yi.

“1,1 still lost to you in the end…”

“You’re a qualified opponent. If there’s a next life, let’s fight again.”

“Heli…”

Yushi Mitsui grinned. “Young man, be careful of the Mitsui family. Be careful of Mitsui…”

Whomp…

Before he could finish his sentence, Yushi Mitsui stopped breathing and fell into a pool of blood.

“No, don’t kill me…”

Yshi Mitsui’s death dealt a huge blow to the people in the laboratory.

They were all curled up in the corner like quails.

They were just ordinary people. The fear of death made them lose their cool.

“If you don’t want to die, take out all the hard disks of the computers. Otherwise, you’ll end up like him.”

“Yes, yes, yes. We’ll do it now.”

After assigning them this task, Lin Yi rushed out of the laboratory to help Ning Che out!

With Lin Yi’s help, Ning Che was under a lot less pressure.

It also changed her situation from being at a disadvantage to now starting their offensive!

When facing the two Huaxians, these people were nothing!

This was because most of them were ordinary people, so their combat strength was naturally limited.

In less than ten minutes, Yushi Mitsui’s subordinates were all taken care of. However, because of the fire, they could not meet up immediately.

“Wait for me there. I’ll be right out.”

After giving his instructions, Lin Yi returned to the laboratory.

At this moment, the hard drives from more than ten computers had been removed and placed on the table.

“Not bad performance. As for what the future holds, it’s up to you to fend for yourselves.”

Holding the hard drive, Lin Yi grabbed a fire extinguisher near the door and rushed towards the exit..
