I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 1212: Do You Dare to Kill Me?

As the largest city in Asia, Toiyo was more prosperous than Zhonghai.

Even though it was early in the morning, the streets were still crowded with people and cars.

Most of the overworked white-collar employees were heading home at this point.

Following the address Kenji Takayama had given him, Lin Yi drove for more than an hour to the Takashimaya Hotel near Yayagi Park.

The Takashimaya Hotel was a theme tourist hotel that sat on the outskirts of the city. It was only four stories high and was not considered prosperous.

However, from the outside, it gave off the feeling of refinement.

But now, the surroundings of the hotel were filled with a cold and murderous atmosphere.

There are over a dozen cars parked at the hotel entrance, and four individuals dressed in black suits were standing patiently outside.

Like a statue, they stood motionless at the door.

Lin Yi parked the car and looked around the hotel. If he was not wrong, this hotel should belong to Yushi Mitsui.

To facilitate todayʼs transaction, he had kicked out all the tourists and was now waiting for him to come over.

After turning off the engine, Lin Yi got out of the car with the black box and walked straight to the entrance of the hotel.

However, when he reached the entrance, two men in black stopped Lin Yi.

”Mr. Lin, I need to search you.”

Lin Yi didnʼt say anything. He just smiled and raised his arms calmly.

The two bodyguards searched Lin Yiʼs body. After confirming that there were no dangerous items, they gestured for him to enter.

”Mr. Lin, please follow me.”

Lin Yi didnʼt say anything and followed the men. They soon took the elevator to the fourth floor.

After exiting the elevator, what greeted his eyes was a thick wooden door that was more than three meters tall. There was a Ukiyo-e pattern on it, and even the doorknob was gilded.

There were two more men standing in front of the front door. They were also wearing black suits, and tattoos could be seen on their necks.

When they saw Lin Yi coming, they opened the door immediately.

Behind the door was a small banquet hall.

However, the furnishings inside had been taken out, making it appear empty and vast.

There were two rows of people standing on either side of the banquet hall. They were dressed uniformly and stood there stiffly, making it seem like a scene from a movie.

At this moment, the door behind Lin Yi closed.

At the same time, a hoarse voice came from not far away.

”Mr. Lin, think about this carefully. We havenʼt seen each other for more than half a year.”

Soon, Yushi Mitsui walked out from behind the scenes. Kenji Takayama stood beside him, and Shoko Nakajima and Eliza followed behind.

Even when facing Lin Yi again, Shoko Nakajimaʼs expression was calm.

She even smiled and nodded, but in Lin Yiʼs eyes, this was undoubtedly a form of provocation.

”You put on such a grand show just to receive me?” Lin Yi smiled. ”Youʼre too narrow-minded.”

”It canʼt be helped. I am very aware of your abilities, so I can only do this. Please forgive me, Mr. Lin.” Yushi Mitsui smiled and said,

”But I really admire your courage. You came here alone. I, Yushi Mitsui, admire you very much.”

”What difference does it make?” Lin Yi said.

”Even if all of your subordinates join forces, they wonʼt be my match.”

”I know that. Theyʼre indeed inferior to you, but our Yamaguchi-gumi has been able to stand tall for many years, so itʼs obvious that weʼre not as simple as it looks.”

”Would you dare to kill me?” Lin Yi smiled.

”If we had the guts, we would have done it long ago, so I donʼt want to waste my breath.”

Lin Yi opened the box and showed the Bass ore to Yushi Mitsui.

”Itʼs here, whereʼs my brother?” Lin Yi said.

”I already said that if you touch him, Iʼll kill your entire family. I meant what I said.”

”Mr. Lin, donʼt be so hostile. This is a fair trade. I wouldnʼt do such a thing.”

Yushi Mitsui made a gesture, and Kenji Takayama understood. He got someone to bring Liang Jinming out.

Liang Jinming was in good condition, but his hands were tied and he was in a bit of discomfort.

”Brother Lin!” Liang Jinming said anxiously.

”They didnʼt do anything to you?”

”Not really.”

Lin Yi nodded and looked at Yushi Mitsui.

”Letʼs begin.”

Kenji Takayama brought Liang Jinming to Lin Yi.

Lin Yi grabbed one of Liang Jinmingʼs hands while Kenji Takayama held half of the box. At the same time, he let go of his other hand and completed the transaction.

Lin Yi took the scalpel and cut the rope binding Liang Jinmingʼs hands. Then, under everyoneʼs gaze, he left the banquet hall.

”Mr. Mitsui, now that youʼve obtained the goods, shouldnʼt you give me the gene sequence serum?” Eliza said.

”Of course. This was the deal between us.”

At this moment, Kenji Takayama took out another black box that he had prepared and handed it to Eliza.

The latter checked it and found that there were no problems.

”If there are no problems with this batch of goods, we might just continue working together next time.”

”Thatʼs for the best. Iʼm also looking forward to reaching a long-term strategic agreement with Black Gold Corporation.”

”Okay.”

After giving a simple response, Eliza left in a hurry with the black box.

”Boss, are we going to let Lin Yi go just like that?” Kenji Takayama asked.

”Our relationship has already broken down. Itʼs impossible to gain his cooperation,” Yushi Mitsui said.

”Thereʼs an old saying in Huaxia. Itʼs better to die than to live in dishonor. Heʼs very close to the Mitsui family now. Perhaps one day, heʼll stand on Caie Mitsuiʼs side. Therefore, itʼs unnecessary for us to keep him around. Get some people to follow Eliza. If the conditions allow, help her.”

”Help her?” Kenji Takayamaʼs expression froze. ”You mean Eliza is going to kill him?”

”Very likely.” Yushi Mitsui said,

”Weʼve met a few times over the past few days. I can tell that sheʼs filled with killing intent towards Lin Yi. Now that thereʼs an opportunity, I donʼt think sheʼll miss it.”

Kenji Takayamaʼs expression was calm. After thinking for a few seconds, he said,

”Eliza clearly knows that sheʼs not Lin Yiʼs match, so if she still dares to try to deal with him, it means she must have made full preparations. However, if Lin Yi really dies, will Huaxia blame this on us?”

Kenji Takayama also knew that he could not do anything to Lin Yi.

The main reason for this was that he had a prominent status in Huaxia.

If they touched him, they would be thrust into a world of trouble.

On the other hand, if he was killed by Eliza, the crime would most likely be pinned on them as well.

”I can only promise that I wouldnʼt kill him here. Do I have to protect him if he encounters enemies elsewhere?” Yushi Mitsui said coldly, ”Just do as I say.”

”Got it, Boss! Iʼll bring my men to follow them!”
