“It’s you guys!”

“That’s right.” Ning Che said.

“We’ve already dealt with your subordinates outside. Now, there’s only the two of you left.”

In a moment of crisis, Kenji Takayama was surprisingly calm. He didn’t panic and instead turned around to look at Lin Yi.

“Our people have been following you the entire time, but you could still tell others to come over.”

“Shoko Nakajima helped me here, so I secretly sent a message during that time.” Lin Yi supported his head with one hand and smiled.

“When it comes to schemes and ploys, you are quite disappointing.”

At this point, Kenji Takayama also knew that he was in an extremely passive situation, so he didn’t argue with Lin Yi about these useless things.

“What exactly do you want to do? I hope you won’t get involved in this matter. It has nothing to do with you!”

“Are we not allowed to act just because it has nothing to do with us?” Ning Che said, “Aren’t you too naive?”

As soon as he finished speaking, Ning Che took a step forward and stopped in front of Kenji Takayama. She chopped his neck with a karate chop and the latter immediately fainted.

As for his two subordinates, they were not spared either. They had also fainted under Ning Che’s chop.

Lin Yi realized that Ning Che looked quite thin, but she was actually quite strong.

After dealing with the duo, the three of them scurried into the room.

“Where’s Old Qin and the others?” Lin Yi asked.

“They should still be drinking there. We said that we were tired and wanted to go back and rest, so we left early.” Ning Che said.

“But this isn’t the time to worry about them. We have to think about what to do with these people. Including the ones outside, there are a total of eight of them. Five of them have guns on them, but we disarmed them.”

“They’re different from the people from Black Gold Corporation. We can’t kill them unless it’s absolutely necessary.”

Qiu Yuluo and Ning Che understood what he meant.

Although they were a group of organized hooligans, to put it bluntly, they were legal citizens of Sunrise Land. They were not like Black Gold’s people who could be freely disposed of.

Therefore, they could not kill them unless they had no other choice.

“How we are going to deal with these people is a problem.”

“I don’t want to have a large-scale conflict with them. The company’s team-building tour will end the day after tomorrow. At that time, I’ll return to Huaxia. This matter will be resolved. It will have nothing to do with me.” Lin Yi said.

“Therefore, I’ll have to trouble you guys for the next two days. Help me keep an eye on these people and not let them cause trouble.”

“That’s not a problem, but Yushi Mitsui is an old fox. He will soon notice what’s going on here,” Qiu Yuluo said.

“That makes sense.” Ning Che said, “And that woman called Shoko Nakajima is also a time bomb. Should we deal with her?”

“I knew that she wasn’t a good person. I was right,” Qiu Yuluo said.

Lin Yi smiled. “You don’t have to worry about her. I’ll handle it. Just help me keep an eye on these people.”

“No problem.”

“Then I’ll go back first. I’ll leave this place to you.”

After saying goodbye, Lin Yi left first, but his expression was not very good.

It was not difficult to keep Yushi Mitsui in the dark for two days.

However, the problem was that Eliza was still wandering about outside.

That woman was a murderous woman. He had to be wary of her.

On the way back, when they passed by the bar, Lin Yi secretly looked inside.

He realized that everyone had already left. They had probably gone back after drinking.

Lin Yi didn’t stay any longer and returned to the hotel to rest. He booked a room and slept until the next morning.

However, when he woke up the next morning to eat, Lin Yi realized that Shoko Nakajima was no longer around.

This was a little beyond Lin Yi’s expectations, but it was reasonable.

She was well aware that yesterday’s events had already been exposed, so it was only natural that she couldn’t stay by Lin Yi’s side any longer. Quietly leaving was the only sensible option.

In reality, if she had a choice, Shoko Nakajima would not have left.

But after interacting with him for the past few days, she realized that Lin Yi was too smart.

With his level of intelligence, she would not be able to deceive him at all, so she instead chose to leave.

“Old Liang, where’s your female companion? Why is she missing?” He Yuanyuan asked in boredom during the meal.

“She said that she had something to do at home, so she left first,” Liang Jinming said vaguely. “It doesn’t matter. We can have fun by ourselves.”

No one cared about Shoko Nakajima’s departure. In any case, they weren’t very familiar with each other, so it didn’t matter if she left.

However, Qin Han and the other two were looking at Lin Yi with a faint smile.

The meaning was self-evident.

About an hour later, the group finished their meal and began the day’s hike.

Although Shoko Nakajima was missing as a tour guide, it did not affect anything. They still had mouths of their own. If they did not understand anything, they could just ask others.

As usual, the group was divided into two groups, one consisting of men and the other consisting of women.

Lin Yi had been holding his phone the entire time, discussing the situation with Ning Che.

“Is it a convenient time for you to talk?” Ning Che asked over the phone.

“Fire away.”

Lin Yi deliberately slowed down and whispered,

“What happened?”

“Last night between 2:00 and 2:30 a.m., Yushi Mitsui called three times, but we didn’t pick up. After that, he didn’t call again. I guess he must be suspicious.”

“That’s possible.” Lin Yi gave his guess.

With Yushi Mitsui’s cunning personality, he would be suspicious if anything went against his expectations. It was possible he had already begun to prepare for the next step of the plan.

Now that things have escalated to this point, the events that follow may not remain as calm as they are currently.

“What do you want to do next?” Ning Che asked.

“Yushi Mitsui’s target is the ore. He will most likely come after you to achieve this. Do you need to bring the Central Guards Brigade over?”

“No need. My identity as a member of the Central Guards Brigade can’t be exposed yet.”

Lin Yi did this to preserve his relationship with Caie Mitsui.

With the Mitsui family’s international status, if anything happened in the future, he might be able to get information out of her.

The last incident was proof of this. Without the information provided by Caie Mitsui, it was have been impossible for him to find the ore.

“Then you have to be more careful.” Ning Che reminded.

“It’s possible Yushi Mitsui has already sent someone over.”

“I thought so. That’s a possibility.”

“If that’s the case, there’s no need for us to keep an eye on these people. We might as well follow you quietly, just in case.”

“Not yet.” Lin Yi said.

“The current situation is still uncertain, including what’s happening with Yushi

Mitsui. Calm down. Things are not out of control yet, so don’t panic..”
