I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 628 - 628 Revenge Operation

628 Revenge Operation

At the same time, the three of them arrived at the police station.

Lewis and Nathan’s faces were bandaged, and they looked particularly miserable.

They both looked at Lin Yi with a trace of fear.

“Mr. Lin, you’re here.”

!!
Seeing Lin Yi, Shi Shaoxing greeted him with a smile, not daring to be negligent at all.

“It’s done, right?” Lin Yi said.

“It’s all settled. The compensation has been collected.”

Shi Shaoxing picked up a bag from the ground and handed it to Lin Yi.

“Mr. Lin, the money is here. Please count it.”

“I don’t have to worry about that. I won’t bother counting it again. Isn’t there a document for me to review? I’ll sign it now.”

“Okay, okay, okay.”

Shi Shaoxing took out the documents that he had prepared in advance.

Lin Yi looked at the content and saw that it was all procedural, so he didn’t pay much attention to it and signed his name.

At this point, this matter was over.

Seeing Lin Yi sign his name, Shi Shaoxing heaved a sigh of relief.

It was rare for someone of Lin Yi’s level to be so easy to talk to.

“Did the two of you realize that you were wrong?” Shi Shaoxing looked at Lewis and Nathan.

“Got it,” the two of them said unwillingly.

“Too soft,” Lin Yi said.

“Got it!” The two of them raised their voices and stood up straight in fear.

“That’s right. If you’re in the wrong, you have to admit it. If you’re beaten, you have to stand at attention. Since you’re here, you have to abide by our rules. Don’t do anything stupid.”

Neither of them spoke, but it was obvious that they were both angry and not really convinced.

Despite this, Lin Yi didn’t want to pursue these details.

There was no point in arguing with such people.

The three of them then walked out of the police station.

“Since we have nothing to do, why don’t we go to the night market?”

“That’s a good idea. I’ve been squeezed dry by the capitalists. I urgently need to go to the night market to replenish my energy,” He Yuanyuan said.

Lin Yi glanced at Ji Qingyan. “You didn’t eat when I told you to. It looks like you were just waiting to go to the night market.”

“Hehe…”

She smiled shyly and dragged Lin Yi to the night market.

At the same time, Lewis and Nathan came out of the police station.

Upon spotting the two of them, the people standing guard outside went up to them.

“Were you actually beaten up this badly? Lewis, your father is a professional boxer. How many people were there on the other side?”

Seeing their miserable state, their foreign students were surprised and horrified.

“Don’t mention it. There was only one person, the man who went out just now. He was very good. I was not his match.” Lewis said angrily.

In his opinion, losing to a Huaxian was very embarrassing.

“Looks like that man must have practiced Huaxian kung fu. Otherwise, with your strength, defeating him would not have been a problem.”

“Alright, let’s not talk about this for now. Brandon is still waiting for me over there.”

With that, Lewis walked toward the BMW 7 Series parked not far away.

At the same time, the people in the car also got out.

The man’s name was Brandon, and he was a PhD student at Fudan University in Zhonghai. He was also the president of the Zhonghai International Students Association.

The postgraduate associations of the major schools in Zhonghai were all under his jurisdiction.

He was also responsible for handling Lewis and Nathan.

“Hey, brother, how did you get beaten up like this?” Brandon had a cigarette in his mouth. His long golden hair flowed in the wind, making him look very carefree.

“Don’t mention it. I didn’t know such a thing would happen. Otherwise, I would have brought more people along.”

Brandon nodded and looked in the direction where Lin Yi, Ji Qingyan, and the others had left in.

“I need to ask you something. Do you know who the two women who were with that man were?”

Lewis recalled Ji Qingyan and He Yuanyuan’s faces and shook his head.

“No, I don’t. I saw a woman in his shop during the day, but it wasn’t either of them,” Lewis said.

“But those two women are gorgeous. I’ve never seen a more beautiful woman, especially the one in jeans.”

“Haha, she is indeed beautiful,” Brandon said.

“If I’m not wrong, that woman in jeans should be my senior back then. She was the school belle of Yan University. It’s been many years since we last met. I didn’t expect her to be living in Zhonghai. What a coincidence.”

“Oh my, you actually know each other?”

“Of course I do,” Brandon said. “But I was stopped by a teacher in the process of wooing her. Otherwise, I would have taken her down by now. I didn’t expect to be with another man now. It’s a pity.”

“What’s so pitiful about that? Just think of a way to snatch her back. It’s very simple.”

“This senior of mine isn’t that easy to woo, so I can’t be too anxious.”

Brandon said, “This matter has caused quite a stir. Many people are discussing it online. Not only in Zhonghai, but many foreign students throughout Huaxia are also paying attention to this matter. I have to think of a way to deal with it.”

In terms of severity, what happened today was far inferior to the incident with the foreign students at the Normal University.

However, the location where it had happened was different, and the result were also different.

Zhengyang Street was a commercial street near the university city. Tens of thousands of students passed by it every day.

In addition, the students in the university town did not have a good impression of these international students. As a result, this matter quickly spread online and even became quite popular.

At this point, the internet was filled with cheers. They were feeling quite satisfied with the result.

It was precisely because of this that the students from Zhonghai were very angry. The two groups of people had already become enemies.

As a result, Brandon spent the entire afternoon dealing with this matter, but things were still looking dim.

Their resistance and speeches were quickly drowned in the sea of people and ignored.

“He’s very powerful. If we want to teach him a lesson, we have to bring more people over,” Lewis said.

“I think teaching him a lesson would be letting him off too lightly,” Nathan said.

“We have to make him kneel down and apologize to us. Moreover, we cannot let him continue to set up shop here. Otherwise, we won’t be able to survive in school and will be mocked to death.”

Nathan was a typical wolf in sheep’s clothing.

During the day, he only dared to cut the queue because of Lewis’s support.

However, after Lewis was defeated, he was the first to admit defeat.

Now that Brandon was here, he was arrogant again, but he didn’t dare to let out a fart in front of Lin Yi.

“Yes, Nathan is right! We have to teach him a lesson!”

Surprisingly, the speaker was not a European, but a yellow-skinned Asian.

His name was Shiro Ishii, and he was an international student from Japan.

Before he came to Huaxia, he was very normal. However, after he arrived here, he became a little abnormal.

That was because Huaxia girls did not like him. They would rather find a Huaxia boy who was comparatively inferior than be with him.

Because of this, his mentality became abnormal.

It was especially bad when he met those outstanding boys. At these times, the jealousy in his heart would rise to maddening amounts, such that he could not control it at all.

“Then tell me, what’s the best solution?” Brandon asked with a cigarette in his mouth.

“I think we should burn down his shop and then capture him and beat him up. We will show him how powerful we are!”

“That’s a good idea!” Nathan said. “Burn his shop and teach him a lesson!”

“I also think this is a good idea,” the other international students said.

“Nonono…”

Brandon wagged a finger and said,

“I know that you all look down on these Huaxian people, and so do I. However, if we start a fire, it will immediately escalate the matter. If it implicates other shops, we have to take responsibility. We can’t do this unless we have no other choice.”

It was not without reason that Brandon could become the president of the Zhonghai International Students Association.

At this moment, he was still rational.

“Then what should we do? Just teaching him a lesson would be letting him off too easily,” Lewis said.

“That’s easy,” Brandon said with a cigarette in his mouth.

“We’ll find a few people tonight and destroy his shop. Wouldn’t that achieve our goal?”

Lewis and the others’ eyes lit up. This was indeed a good idea.

This was because setting a fire was indeed a little too extreme. If it led to multiple shops burning down, none of them could escape responsibility.

If he sent someone to destroy his shop, there would be no such problem.

“It’s decided. I’ll make the arrangements later. Let’s go eat for now.”

“Alright! Let’s do it!”
