I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 625 - 625 Should I Just Do It in One Shot?

625 Should I Just Do It in One Shot?

“We can’t just settle it ourselves. Let’s call the police,” Lewis volunteered.

“Boss, you can’t call the police,” the girl in the shop said.

“That’s our business. Keep your mouth shut.”

Whoosh!

!!
Lin Yi kicked Lewis again.

“Why the hell are you talking to my customers like that?”

“Yes, yes, yes. I said something wrong.” Lewis was so scared that he didn’t dare to make a sound for fear of being beaten up.

“Boss, listen to us. We can’t call the police.”

“It’s fine. Justice is in the hearts of people. I’m in the right here, so there’s nothing to be afraid of.”

That was true, but the students in the shop were still a little worried.

The boss was still too young and had never experienced such a thing before, so he did not know the severity of this matter.

Not long after, sirens were heard outside the door. The police officers from the district police station walked in.

“I see the police coming in.”

Lewis and Nathan rushed over as if they had seen their savior.

“Mr. Policeman, this Huaxian man hit us and even gave us fake steak and wine to fool us. He wants 140,000 yuan from us. You have to intervene in this matter.”

The students in the restaurant who were watching the commotion frowned coldly. Things had turned out as they had expected.

These people were clearly the ones who started it, but they were actually pointing fingers now.

How shameless.

“Police colleagues, that’s not what happened.” Wang Ying stood up and explained.

“They smoked in the shop first, then didn’t listen to our instructions, so there was a conflict. Other than that, although the things in our shop are expensive, they’re all genuine. It’s only normal that they were sold for 140,000 yuan.”

“Genuine? Do you think this is a three-Michelin star restaurant?” Nathan said.

“I can swear on God’s name that the steak is fake, and so is the red wine. The total costs would not exceed 50 yuan, yet you actually want 140,000 yuan. This is too much. This is fraud. God will not forgive you!”

Hearing Nathan’s shameless words, the other students couldn’t stand it anymore.

“Officers, you can’t trust him. The boss didn’t wrong them. They started smoking first.”

“Yes, we can all testify to this. They started it.”

“Stop, stop, stop. Everyone, be quiet,” the male police officer said. “We’ll investigate this matter thoroughly.”

“There’s no need to investigate.” Lin Yi said to Lewis and Nathan.

“I called the police here to save my time so I can focus on my business. Isn’t it a little unethical for you to act one way in front of others and another behind their backs?”

“You hit me first. You’re to blame. We’re innocent!” Lewis said.

“Why didn’t you dare say that before the police came? Why? Do you think someone can back you up now that they’re here?”

“I was afraid to fight you because I couldn’t beat you. Now that the police are here, they’ll help me.”

Lin Yi was so angry that he laughed. “I’ve lived for so many years, but this is the first time I’ve met a coward like you. You actually make your excuse sound so elegant and refined.”

“There’s nothing to be ashamed of. In any case, the police will deal with you!”

Lin Yi walked over to the two police officers and smiled. “Do you know who I am?”

“I do.”

The male officer looked nervous and uneasy.

Even if we don’t know the director, we would know you!

Liang Ruoxu had already informed them of Lin Yi back when Zhou Peng came to cause trouble.

Although things looks calm on the surface, everyone in the district police station was secretly watching the developments, afraid that something major would happen.

“Then go out first and come in when I call you.”

“Alright, we’ll go ahead. Just let us know when you need us.”

After saying this, the two police officers turned around and left. Lewis and Nathan stood rooted to the ground in confusion.

They had no idea what was going on.

Why did they leave just like that?

The other onlookers were no different.

‘You sent the two police officers away with that one sentence?’

Was the police station owned by the handsome boss?

Lin Yi looked at Lewis and Nathan.

“Do you two think I should go through the motions or just do it in one shot?”

“You… you can’t do this. We’re Meiguons. It’s wrong of you to attack us. You’ll be held responsible.”

“Held f*cking responsible? Do you think I’m scared?”

Lin Yi grabbed Nathan’s head and kicked him in the face, breaking the bridge of his nose.

Nathan covered his nose and lay on the ground, howling. Lewis was so frightened that he put his head in his hands and begged for mercy.

“Don’t do it. We admit our mistake. We’ll pay you. Don’t do it.”

“What a bunch of cowards.”

Lin Yi cursed and called the two police officers in.

“Mr. Lin, are you done? Can we take them away?”

“Bring him back and continue beating him up. You can’t skip these procedures.”

“I know, I know.” The police officer wiped his cold sweat and said.

“Also, they will have to compensate 200,000 yuan for their meals and the losses my shop suffered. If they don’t pay, don’t release them.”

“Okay, okay, okay. We’ll do as you say.”

“Yeah.” Lin Yi waved his hand, “Let’s go.”

As Lin Yi had instructed, the police took Lewis and Nathan away.

The customers in the restaurant saw how awesome Lin Yi was.

When the police came here, they had to speak politely and give the boss plenty of respect. This was too amazing!

“Alright, our noon today service will end here for today,” Lin Yi said, “We’ll continue at three in the afternoon. Sorry, everyone.”

“It’s okay,” the girl said in admiration. “Boss, you’ve helped us vent our anger. I’m so happy.”

“Boss, I didn’t expect you to be so good at fighting. Do you have abs? Can I touch them?”

“Sure. Wait, why are you sticking your tongue out?”

“Haha…”

The people in the shop left one after another.

However, Wang Ying didn’t leave. Instead, she helped Lin Yi clean up the shop and wiped the blood on the ground before leaving.

There was still some time before three in the afternoon. Lin Yi took this time to enjoy a moment of leisure.

The next stage of the mission would definitely be triggered during work, so he could not stop.

At three in the afternoon, Lin Yi took down the “Closed for business” sign and prepared to receive customers.

Not long after, the store’s door was pushed open.

At the same time, there was a string of laughter.

“Lil’ Wan, let me tell you. This shop is especially popular in our university town now. Moreover, the boss is very handsome. It just so happens that I’m not busy today, so I came over to try it.”

Hearing someone enter, Lin Yi walked out of the kitchen.

He realized that the two girls who came in looked strangely familiar.

She seemed to have met the two girls in the building in the morning.

Xu Wan and Han Fei were equally surprised.

They had never thought that they would meet that gigolo here.

‘Is he the boss?’

He was so handsome.

It seemed possible.
