I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 605 - 605 Sheʼs Extremely Charming

605 She’s Extremely Charming

“That’s right. Consider it a public signal. I’m wondering how many people will fall for it.”

“It’s unlikely that they’ll fall for it. The current crop of entrepreneurs will always go with the majority, even if it might sway their future decisions,” Liang Ruoxu said.

“Therefore, if you want to use this method to convince them to try the newly developed phone system, it’s not very likely to succeed.”

“That’s why I have decided to come in and mess things up.”

!!
“I don’t think you want to come in and mess things up. You just want to throw money at people.”

“You know me best.”

“However, I feel that no one will be willing to do shift over,” Liang Ruoxu said.

“IOS and Android are too mature. There’s no need to talk about IOS here. Even Android is open-source. Who would waste their resources on something like your system?”

“I thought of the problem you mentioned, so I rejected this idea. Since I can’t work with others, I’ll do it myself.”

“You’ll have to sell the phones first.”

“No, the phone system is still a commodity. I’ll give it to whoever wants it. It’ll be free.”

Liang Ruoxu felt that something was wrong. “Why are you making this? This doesn’t seem like a way to earn money.”

“I’m not focusing on making money, so there’s no hurry.” Lin Yi said.

“As for this matter, I’ll need your help.”

“Naming rights is a small matter. My grandfather won’t even need to step in. Uncle Chen can handle it.” Liang Ruoxu said.

“But is this enough? Should I get you some additional approval?”

“Hmm? Approval for what?”

“For example, the national ‘Several Plans to Promote the Development of the Software Industry’ surrounds this field and might benefit you.”

“That’s fine. In any case, if you think it’ll help me, I’ll take as much as you can give. I don’t mind.”

“How greedy.”

After a brief chat, Liang Ruoxu changed her clothes and prepared to go to work.

She originally wanted to take Lin Yi’s car, but when she saw that he was driving a Koenigsegg RS, she gave up.

When he returned to the shop, it was already past ten in the morning.

Lin Yi organized the thoughts in his mind again.

Liang Ruoxu was right. It was impossible to get someone else to use his system, so he had to do it himself.

However, Sci-Tech produced small chips. It was still a little difficult to pivot it into the mobile phone production line.

Still, what other option did he have?

After sorting out his thoughts, Lin Yi pulled Sun Fuyu and Qi Xianzhao into a group.

He was prepared to hold a video conference and assign them missions.

“Director Lin, do you have any instructions?” Sun Fuyu said in the video.

“The source code of the new system should be as similar to Android as possible. In other words, any app that is suitable for Android should be able to be used on our new system with only a few modifications. However, we also have to maintain some technical differences so that no one can replicate it. On a technical level, this should not be difficult.”

Sun Fuyu smiled slyly. “Don’t worry, President Lin. I’ve been doing this since the beginning.”

“Are you serious?”

“I’m serious,” Sun Fuyu said. “We’re not the first to create a system, so the industry is very certain when it comes to this.”

“Take your time.”

“If you want absolute control, you have no choice but to research a brand new mobile phone system. If you try to innovate it from scratch, in this era where apps are everywhere, you’re simply courting death. No one will waste their effort to develop an app for a new system. The only solution is to make a system similar to Android. By doing so, with a few modifications, you can tweak apps to adapt to the new system, greatly reducing the difficulty of development.”

“What about risk aversion?”

“This is even simpler. Penguin has already shown us a clear path on how to do this,” Sun Fuyu said.

“In the field of online information security, the definition of plagiarism is the same code, but to avoid this, we just need to rewrite the code. Even if they sue us, we don’t have to be afraid. Our code is only similar, but not identical. Moreover, they are a foreign company. It’s nonsense for them to want to win against a local company in Huaxia.”

Hiss!

Lin Yi gasped.

“You’re a f*cking genius!”

“Hehe, thank you for your praise, President Lin.”

“Old Qi, I have a very important mission for you,” Lin Yi said. “Find a few factories. We’re preparing to enter the mobile phone industry.”

“I’ve already tried to contact a few companies. I was just waiting for President Lin to give me instructions.”

“You prepared in advance?”

“Yuanyuan told me about this when she came back. I pretty much guessed this would be the next step.”

Lin Yi nodded. Old Qi was also a talent.

“Since you’re already prepared, I’ll make it short.” Lin Yi said.

“The cost of the phone must be limited to less than 1,000 yuan, but the camera and screen resolutions cannot be lacking. These are the main features. In terms of software, we’ll use our new system. The rest is up to you.”

“Got it.”

“I’ll try to come up with a plan within the week.”

“Alright, that’s all for today. You guys go ahead and take care of it. If you encounter any difficulties or anything you can’t handle, call me.”

After explaining everything, Lin Yi got busy with the shop and started preparing the goods.

However, at this moment, someone pushed open the door and walked in.

There were three women and one man. They were dressed very trendy and seemed to be quite wealthy.

“Oh my god, look, the boss is really handsome!”

“I can’t take it anymore. I’m going to faint.”

At this moment, one of the girls in black silk walked up to Lin Yi.

“Handsome, can we take a photo with you?”

“Do I look like a panda? What photo do you want?” Lin Yi said.

“What a cold and handsome man. He’s really different from those bootlickers.”

“Hehe, I like this kind of cold and aloof type. The more he ignores me, the more I want to pester him.”

Lin Yi, “…”

What kind of weird fetish was this?

“Handsome, we want to eat,” the girl in black silk said.

“The menu is on the table. Order whatever you want.”

As if they knew that this shop was very expensive, the girls were not surprised when they saw the price.

They ordered two servings of egg fried rice, noodles, and three side dishes before sitting down at the table.

Lin Yi was about to return to the kitchen to cook when a few more girls walked in.

“Boss, three servings of egg-fried rice.”

“Sure.”

Lin Yi was a little flattered by all the business so early in the morning.

However, it was a good thing that many guests came, since this meant he was one step closer to completing his mission.

The only drawback was that he was a little too busy.

Lin Yi returned to the kitchen and started cooking.

In less than ten minutes, the egg fried rice was ready to be served. The remaining vegetable noodles were also made very quickly and did not take long.

About half an hour later, the two tables of guests left one after another, but the stream of guests did not end. There was a constant stream of people visiting.

There was even a queue forming outside in the afternoon.

Even Ji Qingyan, who was far away at Chaoyang Group, was stunned by this explosive scene.

She realized this because the payment code in the store was linked to her account.

Every ten minutes or so, she would receive a reminder to collect the money.

In just one morning, she had already received more than 4,000 yuan.

The reason why business suddenly improved was not without reason.

After a few days of fermentation, the store’s reputation had spread.

The first reason was naturally the taste. Even if it was a little expensive, it did not matter if they only ate it once in a while.

Next was Lin Yi’s looks.

It was definitely enjoyable to have such a handsome man cook for these customers.

In the end, the people who came to eat no longer ordered their own food.

They would eat whatever Lin Yi made for them.

As long as it was Lin Yi who did it.

They were here for Lin Yi, making the latter feel like a monkey.

Unfortunately, he was a busy monkey at that.

Helpless, Lin Yi called He Yuanyuan and Tian Yan and asked them to help in the shop.

He would definitely not be able to handle it alone.

About half an hour later, the two of them arrived at the store from Lingyun Group.

The customers soon saw two mature women in work uniforms appear in the shop.

The female customers in the restaurant were all amazed.

These two ladies were too good-looking.

Moreover, they seemed to be very rich because the bags they carried were Hermes bags.

“Boss, please have mercy. I still have a lot of work to do at my company. If you ask me to work here, I’ll have to work overtime at night.”

He Yuanyuan was the only one who dared to criticize Lin Yi like this.

“Let me tell you, whether a person can succeed or not doesn’t depend on how much she does at the company. It depends on how much effort she has put in after work. I’m doing this for your own good. Why don’t you understand my good intentions?”

“Look at Tian Yan. Why can she be called on without any complaints?” Lin Yi said.

“Even if I’m pooping, she can give me paper. Even if I’m in the middle of doing it, she will give me condoms. Why can’t you be the same? You’re both women. One of you is 36B, and the other is 37E. Why is the difference between you too so big?”

“You still wear condoms when doing it? How dissapointing.”

Lin Yi, “…”

Tian Yan, “???”

She now understood something.

There was a reason why some people could become President Lin’s trusted aides.

“Cut the crap and get to work. Go out and greet the guests.”

He Yuanyuan knew that she could not run away.

Even if the boss didn’t want her to do it, her senior sister would call her to help.

On the other hand, Tian Yan worked hard and did whatever the boss wanted. She was not as talkative as He Yuanyuan.

With He Yuanyuan and Tian Yan’s help, Lin Yi felt less pressured. He just had to focus on cooking.

Moreover, the dishes ordered by the customers were very simple, so it was not difficult to deal with them.

“Boss, one serving of egg fried rice and one serving of seaweed egg soup.”

“President Lin, one vegetable noodles and one bowl of pickle.”

“Boss, one vegetable noodles, one pan-fried bun, and two cups of milk tea.”

“President Lin, one serving of egg fried rice, one serving of scallion pancakes, and two servings of ginseng soup.”

“F*cking wait for a while.” Lin Yi said.

“Why is business getting better and better? And why are the orders so varied?”

“Because the girls aren’t the only ones eating now. A large number of boys are here.”

“Boys?” Lin Yi said, “Why would boys come here to eat?”

“They just came to look at the clothes Sister Yan is wearing.”

“Aren’t her clothes normal?”

“Are they normal?” He Yuanyuan said with a faint smile.

“She’s wearing a white shirt and a skirt. Her high heels are very charming, so these boys are all here to gawk at her.”
