Chapter 136 The Creator's Gift

Chapter 136 The Creator’s Gift
With the help of the Zerg blood, Lin Ye’s broken right hand began to recover slowly, and his severely damaged arm armor was also gradually repaired.

But the overall speed is much slower than the regenerative ability of the No. [-] killer.

This point makes him, who has a complete Zerg bloodline, feel ashamed.

At this time, the electromagnetic cannon on the left arm was still spewing out energy bombs.

However, the surrounding area was full of high dust, which largely obstructed his vision.

But this harsh environment is very suitable for the mutated No. [-] killer.

Under the modification of the R-type genetic agent, he doesn’t need to use the usual visual organs to catch prey.

Sounds of different frequencies, thermal induction imaging, etc., can help him quickly lock the enemy.

Just as he was thinking about it, he felt a icy killing intent suddenly emanating from the surrounding smoke and dust.

The wound on Lin Ye’s body hadn’t fully healed, but he didn’t have time to think about it, and immediately turned on the electromagnetic barrier protection, and activated [Dynamic Perception] and [Intuition] at the same time to prepare for unexpected events.

At this moment, smoke and dust stirred in the ruins beside him, and there was a sound of falling stones.

He immediately raised his left hand and blasted away in the direction of the sound.

And just when a series of explosions sounded, the same breath as before suddenly came from behind.

Lin Ye turned his head, and the No. [-] killer standing behind him at some point raised his sharp pincers and was about to chop them down.

At this moment, he immediately leaned his body back, dodging the attack very narrowly.

If he was a second slower, he might be fired on the spot.

Lin Ye straightened up, immediately picked up the electromagnetic cannon, and blasted at the killer behind him.

But at this time, there was no sign of any figure except for a circle of smoke that was still rotating on the ground.

Is this the result of combining the advantages of Zerg and Terran?

Lin Ye secretly sighed, the physique of the Zerg and the agility of the Ayre, from a certain point of view, this is basically invulnerable.

At the same time, a figure quietly appeared on the wall beside him.

Killer No. [-] squatted on the top of the wall, seeing Lin Ye searching for him, a smug smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

He leaned forward, and the smoke and dust around him began to rotate slowly, and then a group of air waves exploded from under his feet, and the whole person shot out with the impact force, and the wall he was standing on just now also collapsed.

The moment the sound came, Lin Ye immediately reacted, unfolded the electromagnetic barrier, and folded his arms in front of him.

The sharp chelicerae cut through the barrier and collided directly with the metal arm guard, exploding into a ball of dazzling sparks.

However, although the No. [-] killer’s attack was very fierce, Lin Ye could clearly feel that the opponent’s strength and speed were much weaker.

It seemed that the strong attack just now had an effect.

He forcibly swung his right fist to hit No. [-] killer’s chest. Although he paid a little price, it also affected the crystal nucleus buried in his chest to a certain extent.

Lin Ye let out a low cry, strode forward, and bounced the No. [-] killer away with his arms.

Then he retracted his hands and placed them by his side, and at the same time started the supersonic instantaneous acceleration again.

The mutated killer moves very fast, but Lin Ye, who is wearing a battle armor, moves even faster!

The particle injection device at the elbow position started to operate, the arms were covered with electromagnetic barriers, and the punch pointed directly at the killer’s chest.

The instinct of the Zerg creatures made the No. [-] killer want to retreat.

He opened his legs, wanting to escape into the smoke and dust again, but he didn’t know that the skill [Insight] had already locked him, and analyzed his escape route in an instant.

As soon as the No. [-] killer took a step back, Lin Ye flashed to him by relying on the marked route.

The fists that had been stored for a long time burst out like cannonballs.

Accompanied by the sound of breaking through the sky, a frightening aura swept over.

He didn’t know where the two light blades were thrown by him. If he could cooperate with the light blades to slash at this time, the power it would bring would be the greatest.

As soon as the No. [-] killer stabilized his figure, he ushered in the second wave of fierce offensive.

With the help of [Dynamic Perception], Lin Ye’s reaction speed is extremely fast, and the [Insight] skill also allows him to see the opponent’s weakness.

Therefore, every time he punches, he attacks the opponent from an extremely tricky angle.

Even though his physique was very strong after the mutation, No. [-] couldn’t withstand such an attack. After several confrontations, he didn’t pay attention, and was punched and flew out, and fell straight on the ruins.

Lin Ye joked: ”The R-type genetic medicine is really easy to use. Even such a powerful attack method can’t kill you. Why don’t you tell me the location of the base, and I’ll go there to buy some goods!”

Number Two sneered: ”The gift of the Creator is not for everyone!”

”Gift?” Lin Ye frowned.

He remembered the term, which Xiao Xiao had told him back then.

The so-called gift is actually about the unlocking of the gene lock of the temple and ancestral temple.

But just as this thought came to mind, he suddenly widened his eyes again.

The R-type genetic medicine seems to be similar to the function of violently cracking the gene lock to some extent.

Could it be that the ultimate goal of that mysterious organization is to unlock the gene lock?

Lin Ye immediately asked, ”What exactly is your organization going to do?”

”I’ve already said that we are only pursuing ascension!” No. [-] explained calmly.

Lin Ye sneered: ”Ascension? How many people have died in an apocalyptic catastrophe, and you still want to ascend?”

”This is the goal of the El people’s evolution. How can you, an alien, understand this?” No. [-] retorted.

”Reason?” Lin Ye asked suspiciously, and then his tone was filled with murderous intent, and his expression immediately became indifferent:
”Since you guys like reasoning so much, I will let you die with those bullshit reasons today!”

”Really?” No. [-] grinned and made a mocking expression, ”I don’t think it’s necessarily me who died here today!”

Before the words fell, he suddenly stood up from the ruins.

At this time, in the streets and alleys behind, a few figures appeared inappropriately.

Is it enemy reinforcements?
This thought made Lin Ye instantly alert.

But when he took a closer look, he found that those were ordinary residents of Area C.

They seemed to have heard the sound of fighting coming from here, so they ran over to watch the excitement.

Lin Ye was shocked. Although this place is located in Area C, it is still the most sparsely populated abandoned factory area.

However, the power of the electromagnetic vortex explosion should not be underestimated. The surrounding walls were all blown away, and the walls of many buildings were shattered and collapsed under the influence of the shock wave.

Before the two fought regardless of life and death, they completely destroyed the surrounding factories.

How could such a shocking movement not attract people’s attention?

The scene was very chaotic, and at this moment, someone noticed the shape of No. [-] killer, and immediately exclaimed:
”Look, how does this person look like a bug! It can’t be the thing that invaded the temple last time!”

Killer No. [-] was not angry when he heard this, and his thin face was covered with a strange smile.

”The Lord Creator said that gifts are for gifted people, those mediocre people can only sacrifice their cheap lives!”

Lin Ye immediately understood what the other party meant, so he immediately shouted at the crowd to get them out of this dangerous area.

But everyone didn’t listen to it. Instead, they picked up some simple stick weapons and rushed over yelling.

Oops!

His heart sank.

At the same time, the figure of No. [-] Killer disappeared instantly, and after a second or two, screams came from the crowd behind.

Then, a sharp and piercing voice resounded throughout the factory area:
”Come on, let’s evolve!”
