Chapter 134 Extraordinary Mutation

Chapter 134 Extraordinary Mutation

The situation in front of him made Number Eight unable to restrain himself from cursing angrily.

At the same time, Lin Ye completed the preparations for the electromagnetic energy bomb, and the charging has reached the highest level.

But he didn’t release it directly, but used supersonic speed to reach the sides of the two killers in an instant.

Seeing this, No. [-] immediately transformed all the surrounding spikes into thick shields, covering them in front of him, trying to block all the energy impacts.

The energy bomb fell slowly, and there was a burst of explosion sound, Lin Ye was bounced on the spot and fell to the other side of the enclosed area.

Because No. [-] was covered by a shield, he was able to withstand the first stage attack of the energy ball.

But No. [-], who was kneeling on the ground, didn’t have such good luck. Half of his body smashed into the wall curtain.

Before the aftermath of the explosion disappeared, the second stage had already begun. The electromagnetic eddy current generated at the explosion point quickly filled most of the enclosed space.

The surrounding broken bricks, broken tiles, and clods of gravel and soil were all attracted to the center of the vortex by the huge gravitational force, and melted into a viscous liquid shining white light under the ultra-high temperature.

Covering No. [-]’s body, the shield that produced a miraculous effect just now is completely vulnerable under the electromagnetic vortex.

The layered shields were melted and peeled off at high temperature, and because he lost all means of protection, he was involved in the high-speed rotating electromagnetic vortex, completely reduced to ashes, and the miserable howl echoed throughout the sealed space.

In the distance, Lin Ye inserted two light blades deeply into the ground, then held the hilt tightly, fixing himself in place so as not to be swept away by the vortex.

In this critical situation, his Zerg bloodline was also affected to a certain extent, and he couldn’t release bloodline suppression again.

No. [-] survived the explosion in the first stage. After the blood suppression disappeared, he only felt his whole body relax, and his body returned to his control.

He immediately lay down on the ground, and drilled the upper half of his body into the mud layer on the ground.

But the two legs that were exposed outside were caught in the vortex, and in just a few seconds, they were carbonized and shattered.

The electromagnetic vortex lasted for a while, lost the control of the ability user, and the strength of the entire enclosed area was greatly reduced, and the surrounding walls were shrunk a lot again under the strong gravitational force.

Then, towards the end of the second phase, the vortex begins to collapse.

This is the most destructive and lethal stage among the three stages of the energy ball.

A few seconds later, accompanied by a thundering explosion, a blinding white light burst out in the entire enclosed space, and was blown into pieces in the subsequent shock waves.

Lin Ye, who had avoided it according to the previously planned method, was not seriously injured at this moment.

Although the surface of the battle armor is full of scars of different shades, with the help of the [Self-healing] skill, it can be repaired in a short time.

He staggered to his feet from the ground, and then looked at the No. [-] killer who was blown to pieces in the distance.

That thin and tall man no longer had any chance to resist. It is estimated that he could not even complete the most basic crawling movement now.

Lin Ye stepped forward, intending to get rid of this person on the spot, but an unexpected situation happened at this moment.

No. [-] climbed up from the ruins, and the wounds on his body were healing themselves at an alarming speed.

He looked at everything that happened around him in horror, and fragmentary memories suddenly appeared in his mind.

This was the first time he encountered such a situation.

Anyway, I am also an elite member of the organization, how could I be beaten into such a virtuous place by an alien of unknown origin?

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became, and the anger surged into his heart all of a sudden, even making him a little dizzy.

I originally wanted to use this mission to obtain the precious R-type genetic medicine to supplement the Zerg gene fragments in my body, but everything ended!
He punched the ground and took a big gulp of fresh air to relax himself.

But suddenly, a breath of fear swam in his heart again, No. [-]’s hands trembled uncontrollably, and his legs involuntarily took two steps back.

This mission was actually no different from a failure, and it was delayed a lot. Not only did it give the hostile forces time to react, but it also caused unplanned losses.

He is not afraid of death, even if the so-called Lord of the Temple calls for reinforcements, he can easily kill those people here.

But what he fears the most is that he will face that weird, cruel and bloodthirsty leader of the organization.

He was extremely impressed by the means of command.

All the members of the last team that went to the surface of El Star and failed to perform the mission were sent to the biochemical laboratory.

At that time, everyone in the base was compulsorily invited to visit. He still remembers the screams of those members, the bodies that were eaten away, and the plasma splashed on the tempered glass.

Of course, he will never forget the leader’s smile full of enjoyment.

As if listening to a grand concert, the screams one after another are a wonderful symphonic suite.

Thinking of this, Killer No. [-] felt chills all over his body.

It was impossible for him to return to the base like this, he didn’t want to be sent to that horrible biochemical laboratory.

And right now there is only one solution.

Killer No. [-] looked at the astonished Lin Ye and roared again.

He only felt a strange but extremely majestic energy surging out of his body.

Afterwards, the whole body began to change, the thin and tall figure began to swell unstoppably, and tough nails grew on the surface of the body.

The limbs flipped and bent, sharp thorns popped out from the elbows and joints, and the palms completely degenerated into sickle-like sharp forelimbs.

This is completely different from the situation caused by being infected with the Zerg virus.

The phenomenon that happened to the No. [-] killer was completely a selective mutation.

Because he still retains the body shape of the Ayre people, this body shape is more flexible and full of explosive power.

The arms and legs have mutated into Zerg limbs, and the limbs covered by armor plates are extremely strong and destructive.

After a cursory glance, Lin Ye couldn’t believe what happened in front of him.

This killer known as ”No. [-]” now seemed to be neither human nor ghost.

It is simply the genetic hybrid product of the Ayres and the Zerg creatures.

But after the mutation, this person’s momentum became very strong.

This is Lin Ye’s most intuitive feeling, but what makes him even more strange is that [Blood of Zerg] can no longer control the other party’s thinking.

Moreover, the Zerg aura on No. [-]’s body is much smaller. If you don’t carefully identify it, you really can’t feel it.

The reborn No. [-] stood quietly in the puddle.

Suddenly, there was a ripple on the surface of the water, and when Lin Ye went to look again, the figure of the killer had disappeared.

In the next second, the two skills [Intuition] and [Dynamic Perception] suddenly activated on their own.

When Lin Ye came to his senses, No. [-] had already waved his sharp forelimbs and attacked his lower back.

Lin Ye subconsciously dodged the attack again, and then caught up with the speed of the opponent, and took advantage of the momentum to pack a punch, which directly hit the killer’s waist and abdomen.

It was obviously different from the previous blows. The thick armor plate on his body did provide some resistance, but the effect was minimal.
