Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 133 Taking Risks

Chapter 133 Taking Risks
The tall and thin man’s body trembled.

With a ”plop”, he fell directly to his knees in the puddle.

Then he slowly leaned down in the direction of Lin Ye to show his submission.

Although the Zerg blood can give a certain degree of coercion, the Zerg genes in this person’s body are mixed, so he cannot completely control his thinking.

So, this is the only bit of regret.

No. [-], who was standing far away, couldn’t believe what was happening in front of him. He hurriedly shouted:
”Vice Commander, what are you doing?”

Number [-] groaned, as if resisting the pressure from the high-level bloodline: ”How is it possible? My body is completely out of my control!”

”Otherwise, how do you think the Zerg race acted in unison?” Lin Ye laughed wantonly from the side.

Number [-] was shocked at this moment. He said in a trembling voice: ”You, are you a Zerg?”

”If you think it is, then it is!” Lin Ye did not give a clear answer, but the aura emanating from him at the moment was enough to prove it.

Number Eight at the side immediately understood the seriousness of the matter.

He rushed forward resolutely, and while interfering with Lin Ye’s movements with a stone cone, he quickly rescued No. [-] and brought him to the farthest wall.

After rescuing the person, he didn’t hesitate at all and directly plunged his hands into the quagmire.

Lin Ye noticed something was wrong and immediately activated the skill [Insight] to analyze the energy fluctuations on the opponent’s body.

And just when he was puzzled, the data sent back by the system showed that a powerful energy pulse signal was gathering underground, and the frequency was getting higher and higher every time, which coincided with the frequency of the energy fluctuation on the other party’s body.

Seeing this situation, Lin Ye immediately jumped up, but the surrounding wall curtains seemed to have life, and quickly rose up.

While growing, it also closed inward, and in just a few seconds, the only way out in the sky was blocked.

The surroundings suddenly fell into darkness, but the shaking still did not stop, and the muddy surface even continued to rise and fall like a rough sea.

However, before he could understand the current situation, the system suddenly issued a warning.

There are many energy bodies moving at high speed are attacking.

Before Lin Ye could react, a ground thorn several meters long broke through the muddy ground and flew towards him like a cannonball.

At the critical moment, the [Intuition] skill was activated instantly, and Lin Ye almost relied on his subconscious to dodge the next attack.

He turned over and dodged to a safe area, then gripped the light blade and swung forward fiercely.

At first he thought that the high-speed particle wave on the blade could cut it off instantly, but the next second, the strong blocking feeling from the palm told him that the hardness of these ground thorns was far beyond his imagination.

Seeing that he could not cut off the spikes, Lin Ye immediately crossed the two light blades back and forth to block it in front of his chest.

But after receiving a violent impact, the two light blades made a harsh sound of gold and stone colliding, and were almost blown away.

Fine cracks also appeared on the surface of his breastplate. Fortunately, the battle armor itself is relatively strong, and he has also learned the skill [Self-healing], so he returned to its original state in a short time.

But the attack was far from over, and there were still many ground thorns attacking from various angles.

Lin Ye didn’t have time to deal with it, not to mention that he was currently in a completely closed environment.

Even if the particle ejection device of the leg armor was activated at full power immediately and combined with the skill [Supersonic Speed], he could not escape the pursuit of the spikes.

In just a few seconds, all the spikes gathered together, directly penetrated the electromagnetic barrier covering the surface of the armor, and penetrated deeply into it.

The huge force directly rushed Lin Ye into the wall curtain at the top, smashed a deep hole, and fell to the ground again.

Those cracked ground thorns were transformed into dust again, falling back into the puddles on the ground and turning into ordinary sand.

After suffering such a serious and intensive attack, the surface of the battle armor is full of scars at this moment.

The several dents on the breastplate were even two centimeters deep, and it only needed to go a little further in, and it could immediately pierce his body.

Lin Ye, who quickly got up from the ground, immediately adjusted the computing power of [Insight] to the maximum, and at the same time continuously released the energy of the armor to repair the previously damaged electromagnetic barrier.

He looked at Killer No. [-] on the other side of the closed space, and the anger in his eyes shot out through the lens of the mask without reservation.

Is it possible to have such a powerful ability after being injected with genetic medicine?

According to the conversation between the two people just now, members of this organization called ”No. [-]” can control matter.

But even so, how could there be such a hard and flexible alloy material under the ground full of sand?
Lin Ye frowned, his face full of solemnity at this moment.

This old man who can control matter is even more difficult to deal with than the previous killer who used optical stealth skills.

It can be said that both are ubiquitous in different senses.

And the space that was not that big at the moment was constantly being filled with spikes.

Lin Ye clutched his chest and became increasingly anxious as he looked at the increasingly narrow living space.

At this moment, he was like fish on a knife, ready to be slaughtered.

Apart from that, he could clearly feel that the surrounding walls were constantly shrinking.

If he didn’t break through this barrier, he would be trapped in an iron box full of thorns, and then he would be punctured into a hornet’s nest, and finally turned into scum.

Those two killers might pack him up and take him back to the base of the mysterious organization.

While observing the situation, Lin Ye’s left arm glowed with fiery red light, and then an electromagnetic cannon was mounted on the arm armor.

The reason why he didn’t use this skill just now was because he couldn’t detect the enemy’s position. For such energy bombs without precise guidance, in that case, the hit rate was basically zero.

Moreover, it is located in an open area, and there are no restrictions on movement. For electromagnetic guns that require energy storage, it is even more of a disadvantage.

The situation is different now. Not only have the two target characters appeared, but the entire enclosed area is covered with two-meter-high ground thorns, which greatly restricts their positions.

However, although electromagnetic guns can be used, the consequences are extremely serious.

Lin Ye, who was in the same area, would also be unable to escape the electromagnetic energy ball, the three-stage saturation attack.

But now that the situation was grim, he couldn’t help but think about it, so he had to take a risk and try.

He decided to use the battle armor to bear the damage of the first stage, and then imitate the previous bald head, covering the whole body with the highest strength electromagnetic barrier to resist the electromagnetic eddy current of the second stage.

While the barrier is covering it, use the [Self-Healing] skill to repair the damage to the armor.

In the end, the speed of the electromagnetic vortex slowed down, and when it began to collapse, he used his battle armor to resist the violent explosion and strong shock wave of the third stage.

After some rough planning, he began to accumulate energy and prepared to activate the electromagnetic gun at full power.

After the electromagnetic gun received the command, the mouth of the gun barrel quickly condensed a surging energy flow, and the surrounding matter quickly condensed to a point and began to compress continuously.

The surging energy also attracted the other party’s attention.

Number [-] had been controlling the spikes. When he saw the electromagnetic gun with blue current coming out of Lin Ye’s left arm, his whole body was shocked.

Isn’t this the ability of Lao Jiu?

Coming from the same organization, he naturally understood the power of this skill, so he immediately slowed down his movements, and then looked at the No. [-] killer beside him.

”Vice Commander, Vice Commander!”

But the tall and thin man still knelt down on the ground ”devoutly”.
