Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 118 Genetic Medicine

Chapter 118 Genetic Medicine
A large number of patrol airships are hovering over Area A.

Such a scene, even through a high wall, the residents of Area B should be able to see it.

Perhaps, what happened at the Samson banquet had already spread throughout the streets and alleys.

Lin Ye took one of the aerostats and quickly headed to the outskirts of the city, where the castle was located.

As soon as he landed, he saw someone coming to meet him.

It was Rita. She had been waiting outside early, looking a little anxious.

She saw Lin Ye coming down from the cabin of the airship, and immediately greeted him:

”Are you okay, just now...”

Lin Ye put away the visor on his helmet and chuckled lightly:
”It’s okay, I’ve already solved those ones, but the process was a little difficult!”

There are still a few aircrafts on the lawn, but they should be civilian vehicles from the outside.

Seemingly noticing Lin Ye’s eyes, Rita who was standing aside hurriedly explained:
”This is the temple scientific research team called by the Commander. They were studying Zerg biological genes in the Jongmyo Experimental Base before.”

Lin Ye nodded, and before taking two steps, he suddenly asked again:

”Is that corpse alive?”

He was worried about the usual attack methods before, and there was no way to give that guy a fatal blow.

If it suddenly resurrects during transportation or sampling, it will inevitably cause extremely serious consequences.

When Rita heard this, she immediately shook her head and responded:

”That’s not true, but the condition of the corpse is a bit special!”

Lin Ye frowned: ”Special?”

Rita took a deep breath and said sternly, ”Judging from the genetic sequence, this person has genetic fragments from multiple races!”

While talking, the two of them had already followed the stone road to the medical center on the left side of the castle.

Ascending to the laboratory on the second floor, he saw that the corridor was already full of people.

In the laboratory, a group of scientific researchers were surrounding the corpse, holding special instruments and conducting detailed sampling and research on the body tissues.

The chest of the corpse had been cut open, revealing one of the dim and cracked crystals.

”What is this?” Lin Ye asked curiously, and he turned to look at Rita, ”Air people have such crystal nuclei in their bodies?”

After all, he still glanced at the other party’s heaving chest intentionally or unintentionally.

This made Rita’s face flush.

She turned around in a little panic, walked to the console, and pretended nothing happened.

The scientific researchers next to her saw this situation and immediately responded on her behalf:
”We Ayres are all ordinary life forms. Of course, there is no crystal nucleus in their bodies. Moreover, this thing seems to be acquired in their bodies!”

”What is the specific effect?” Lin Ye came up to take a look.

He was about to take out a fragment to take a look, but recalled the explosion that happened before, and retracted his outstretched hand.

The researcher placed his hands on the edge of the dissecting table and explained in detail:

”Simply put, the crystal nucleus is like a storage battery, continuously supplying energy for the body.

In addition, there are some special abilities that we are still researching.

However, since his bones were all shattered, especially the sternum in his chest, it was directly embedded in the crystal after being shattered, causing it to shatter.

The key data is insufficient, so it cannot be analyzed, and the data in some aspects may have certain errors. ”

Hearing this, Lin Ye looked slightly embarrassed. He didn’t know that such a situation would happen at the beginning. Who knew that this mysterious man looked so big, but he was beaten to death all at once...

He frowned and observed carefully again.

If I remember correctly, this burly man is called ”No. [-]”, and he is from the same mysterious organization as the bald, female assassin before.

But even if this guy is dead, his expression is extremely ferocious, as if he will come back to life in the next second.

His eyes were bloodshot, and the exposed parts of his body were covered with black and purple blood vessels.

And deep in the wound on his neck, a broken miniature receiver can be seen.

”This is the energy receiving device. When the crystal nucleus has no energy, it can be charged through this device.”

The scientific researcher next to him explained again, and at the same time, he started to peel off the flesh and pulled out a circuit wrapped in cell tissue. The other end of the circuit was connected to the lower end of the crystal.

Lin Ye took a look at the specific structure of the body, then straightened up and asked: ”This person’s body has super self-healing capabilities. Did you find anything strange during the sampling process?”

”Regarding self-healing ability, we haven’t observed this phenomenon, but his body tissue is a bit strange!”

While speaking, the researcher picked up a display device that looked like a tablet computer and handed it to Lin Ye.

Pointing to the above data, he continued: ”The data of the cells are dozens of times higher than that of ordinary Ayres. This kind of strength, even a living body that has experienced ascension like us, can’t bear it at all!”

When Lin Ye saw the branches on the screen, his expression gradually became serious.

”The other party should have injected some kind of biocatalyst!” Another researcher made a guess.

”There is a kind of potion inside the temple, which can temporarily improve the body’s ability!
However, according to the battle scene described by the Commander, that kind of auxiliary potion can’t achieve such an effect at all.

Moreover, there is no product on the market that provides self-healing ability, nor does any one have the same effect as this person’s condition. ”

Temporary increase in physical ability, similar to Blue Star’s adrenaline?
Lin Ye crossed his arms, feeling a little puzzled.

Just as everyone fell silent, Rita, who was standing by the console and observing secretly, suddenly spoke.

”In the temple, there is indeed such an enhanced version of the potion, we used to call it the R-type genetic potion!”

When several researchers nearby heard this sentence, they all turned around and said the same thing:
”This...isn’t this illegal medicine that is expressly prohibited?”

Lin Ye stood aside, like an outsider who didn’t know anything.

Of course, from a certain point of view, he is indeed an outsider now.

But since he has obtained the inheritance of the Lord of the Temple, why did he search for this information in the memory of the inheritance?
”Genetic medicine, violation of regulations? What are you talking about?” He wondered.

Rita sighed, walked to the anatomy table, and patiently explained:

”More than 20 years ago, in order to find a way to break through the Zerg army, we gathered all our scientific research strength to analyze the gene of the Zerg virus, and finally extracted the gene fragment that caused the mutation in the Zerg virus.

It can quickly transform the body of the Aiur people, whether it is bones or body tissues, it will be strengthened to varying degrees.

At first, the fighters who were injected with the R-type genetic drug tested very well on the training ground. Not only could they easily lift objects ten times their own weight, but they also moved very quickly.

But just when we were conducting the last test, which was going to Aiur, an accident happened...”
