Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 97 The First Subsidiary Island

Chapter 97 The First Subsidiary Island

The appearance of the two ore veins made Lin Feng decide to leave personnel behind.

As for the difficult problem of staying behind, it will be fine to call people to discuss it later.

Isn’t the material in his hands just for construction?

Immediately, Lin Feng made a rough plan in his mind.

”Notify everyone on the island to gather and prepare to clear an open space between the two mine veins. Just leave a small team to arrange the arrest work.”

The fame and fortune were quickly issued, and after receiving the order, everyone began to work according to the instructions.

Looking at the busy sailors, they are so obedient and hard-working, all they need to do is provide food and shelter for them.

Although this kind of management is simple, such a long-term ”abnormal” development will definitely be detrimental to future development.

The work of establishing an economic system on the island seems to be ready to begin.

But that will have to wait until he returns to his own island to start the work.

Right now, he is taking out the prefabricated ones for preparation and placement.

But at present there is not so much space to place it, Lin Feng just took it out for gestures and then stuffed it back.

”Here, here, cut it all off, and extend it another ten meters, move quickly, try to get it done before tonight.”

”If it can be done by tonight, I will ask the cook to make beef soup for you tonight.”

Lin Feng gestured to draw out the area and took out the reward.

”Yes!”

When the people below heard that there was beef soup tonight, they worked harder one by one.

The beef in Lin Feng’s hands was many times stronger than the moldy beef jerky in their hands.

When the name was mentioned again after eating it once, everyone’s mouth watered.

After Lin Feng arranged tasks for everyone, he also joined the construction work himself.

The hard work was handed over to his subordinates, and he started to build a temporary camp using the prefabricated planks prepared before departure.

Defense, accommodation, storage, cafeteria and a series of everything he can think of are arranged.

Looking at the gradually expanding camp, everyone was a little puzzled. Are they going to stay on the island permanently?

Otherwise, wouldn’t it be too wasteful for these buildings to be used for temporary residence?
However, even if they have doubts in their hearts, they will not inquire. It is their business to complete the work at hand.

It was already one or two o’clock in the afternoon when the island was discovered, and everyone was busy until the sun went down, before they managed to clear the area that Lin Feng needed.

After simply filling and leveling the reclaimed area, Lin Feng laid out the mine.

In an instant, a mine covering an area of thousands of square meters appeared in front of everyone out of thin air.

The sailors who had seen Lin Feng’s various magical abilities were no strangers to the buildings that appeared.

There are all kinds of mining equipment in the mine, but in view of the current situation of the items he can produce.

Most of the equipment in the mine are manually used equipment, such as carts, wooden cranes, etc.

However, in the mine, the equipment for extracting minerals is quite complete, and there are three mineral warehouses of different specifications for storing the excavated minerals.

After a brief inspection, Lin Feng withdrew from the mine and came to the temporary camp to discuss with the management of the team about the mining work on Liudao.

”You have also seen the two mine veins on the island. These minerals are very important to our development, but this place is too far away from the main island, so I plan to leave a group of people here to develop.”

Hearing that Lin Feng planned to keep him, everyone did not show any surprise.

After all, the mining of ore veins cannot be completed in a day or two, it is a long time job.

In addition, the buildings built by Lin Feng on the island also highlighted the problem of long-term residence.

Seeing that there was no reaction from the crowd, Lin Feng continued to speak out his planned arrangement slowly.

”I plan to leave a group of hundreds of people to mine here first. I will send a ship to take you back in a week, and at the same time, I will bring a second group of people to change shifts.”

”Change it once a week, and return with the minerals, so that you also have time to return to the island to rest.”

”At the same time, I will also leave enough food on the island, and I will also bring supplies every time I change shifts. At the same time, the food standard here will be higher than that on the main island.”

Hearing that the food standard has been improved, everyone’s eyes light up slightly.

On this closed island, apart from their daily work and rest, their biggest pastime is eating.

The food provided by Lin Feng’s personal guards had been something they had envied for a long time. Apart from Lin Feng’s occasional incentives and rewards, they had to work hard if they wanted to improve the food.

And if you stay here, you can increase your food, so where can you find such a good thing?

Looking at the expressions of everyone, it seems that they are saying to let them manage the garrison.

Seeing that everyone wanted to stay, Lin Feng also smiled and continued.

”Sooner or later, the garrison work will be your turn, but the necessary positions on the ship cannot be attended by manpower, so another deputy must be selected from below.”

Hearing Lin Feng’s words, the navigator and other persons in charge of the ship were a little disappointed. Such a good thing was not their turn.

”Of course, if you teach new students at that time, you still have a chance.”

Hearing this, everyone’s extinguished hearts were rekindled.

They are making preparations for the establishment of navigation technology learning.

According to Lin Feng’s intention, he planned to train everyone on the island to become officers, as a reserve of talent.

But it will take some time for them to teach a new batch of students to replace them.

It is estimated that by then the mining work on this island will have ended long ago, but these are all things to come.

”Here I will arrange for the first batch of responsible personnel to stay behind. Gracie, fifteen, you two will be responsible for the first phase.”

”it is good!”

”Yes!”

When they heard their names being called, the two of them immediately spoke back.

”As for the specific arrangements, we will negotiate and arrange them after the trial mining tomorrow.”

”Okay, let’s go, let the sailors have a good rest, it’s been a tiring day.”

After arranging things, Lin Feng waved his hand to signal the crowd to leave.

Originally, Lin Feng planned to let everyone study at night, but considering the high-intensity land reclamation in the afternoon, he should let them have a good rest and save their energy for mining tomorrow.

……

The night’s rest soon ended, and in the early morning of the next day, Lin Feng brought his personnel and tools to the coal mine to prepare for the mining work.

Fortunately, the minerals on the island are all open-pit, as long as they are mined round by round according to the structure of the Chinese characters, the mining work is very simple.

In addition, the personnel stationed in the mine, under the passive bonus learning of the building, their mining efficiency is extremely efficient.

In half a day, a huge pit with a diameter of 20 meters and a depth of two meters was dug out.

At the same time, a batch of minerals were also screened out during the refining in the mine.

I jumped on my mentality. There was a bug in the background and the chapter was not uploaded successfully. I went to sleep. Now I found out that there was no update yesterday, and my mentality exploded.
