Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 94 Mirage

Chapter 94 Mirage
Sailing at reduced speed provides a relatively stable rest environment for everyone resting at night.

When the orange sun rises from the horizon, it is the shift time between night and day teams.

Lin Feng, who was used to getting up early, also woke up early.

The first thing after waking up, Lin Feng clicked on the map to check the deviation of the navigation.

After slowing down and sailing, he didn’t drive very far in one night, and according to Lin Feng’s estimation, he only drove [-] to [-] kilometers.

As for the distance at this point, Lin Feng compared it and it was about ten degrees off course.

Fortunately, I didn’t sail with full sail last night, or I didn’t know where I was going when I woke up.

There is no clear direction at night, and it is understandable to deviate from such a large angle.

After a simple wash, Lin Feng began to re-calibrate the course and return the ship to a straight path.

After getting close to the light yellow treasure point, combine your own coordinates to calculate.

It is about 120 kilometers away from our own island.

This is only the position close to the treasure point, and the size of the treasure point has not been calculated.

According to Lin Feng’s estimation, this area has a diameter of [-] to [-] kilometers at least.

It seems that the search after entering the treasure point is a problem. After breakfast, we can find someone to discuss how they used to find targets at sea.

In order to ensure that every class of sailors can have hot food, the kitchen on the ship is basically manned 24 hours a day.

And in addition to the three meals in the morning, afternoon and evening, the ship Shanghai added three additional meals.

Afternoon tea, evening supper, early morning supper.

In this way, six meals a day can ensure that the sailors can eat hot food in real time to ensure combat effectiveness.

The rectification work was completed soon, and Lin Feng went to the restaurant of the shipyard to buy some food and hastily settle it.

In the past, the meals on the ship were all completed in their respective positions. Although this is convenient, it will cause a strange smell to permeate the entire cabin in the long run.

In order to prevent such a thing from happening again, the galley and dining room were additionally upgraded on the battleship.

Although the restaurant is not big, everyone left after eating, and the meal for 300 people was over in less than an hour.

After breakfast, Lin Feng called a few people to discuss the search.

”How did you search for the target you want to find at sea before?”

”Eh...” Hearing Lin Feng’s question, Greser scratched his head in embarrassment.

”We are all drifting in one direction on the sea... It’s the best if we can meet them, and if we don’t, we’ll wait until the food is almost ready before returning...”

Hearing this answer, Lin Feng was a little speechless, feeling that your exploration is all due to luck?
However, in this ocean world, the direction cannot be clearly identified, and there is really no good way to explore unknown areas.

And what he called random drifting actually had a fixed direction. Otherwise, if it was really random drifting, he wouldn’t even be able to find his way home.

”Then, if you are looking for it in an area, do you have any good suggestions?”

Lin Feng thought for a while and then continued to ask.

For this problem, they have quite a few suggestions. When everyone was discussing which one was more suitable, suddenly there was a series of hasty knocks on the door of the conference room.

Immediately afterwards, Shiwu, who was in charge of duty, ran in in a panic and said stutteringly.

”On the sea... no, in the sky, an...an island appeared in the sky?”

As soon as everyone heard this, everyone at the meeting stood up from their chairs, while Lin Feng hurriedly ran towards the door.

In the distance of the skyline on the left front of the ship, a huge floating island is above the sky.

At the same time, there are countless white water splashes falling slowly from the sky around.

Looking from a distance, the island in the clouds and mist in the sky looks like a fairyland.

Seeing such a shocking scene, everyone on the deck of the ship was speechless for a while.

And Lin Feng also quickly reacted from the shock, and quickly took out the binoculars for a ’close’ inspection.

There is a dense forest on the floating island, and there seems to be a looming castle on this island.

The scene presented in the sky was so real that the sailors on the deck were shocked.

Calculated from the size of the island, it is only about 20 kilometers away from him.

Could this be the treasure spot he was looking for?
Lin Feng was a little surprised, but if this is a real treasure... how should he land on this sky island?

But he can wait until he gets close to the ’Sky Island’ to think about these questions. The task now is to move towards the goal at full speed.

”Don’t be dazed, fully pull the rudder, and head towards that sky island!”

Lin Feng’s loud roar instantly woke up the shocked crowd, and then quickly followed the instructions to get busy.

As the battleship advances with full sail, the sky island far away in the sky should be getting bigger and bigger.

But after the battleship moved forward for more than half an hour, Lin Feng discovered something unusual.

Their distance from Sky Island seems to have not changed.

The huge sky island is still floating on the skyline, but the distance has not changed at all.

With some doubts, Lin Feng clicked on the map to check his path. Are he really moving forward?
Then why does this island in the sky still look so big?

And just when Lin Feng was wondering, there was a sudden exclamation from the ship.

”Disappeared, the island in the sky disappeared?!”

”What...what is going on? Why did it disappear?”

……

Hearing the bad news, Lin Feng quickly looked up.

The island floating in the sky disappeared completely at this moment. Against the background of the light blue sky, it seemed that the scene just now was their hallucination.

”what’s going on?”

Seeing the disappearing sky island, Lin Feng’s face was also a little confused.

’and many more……’

Lin Feng suddenly frowned as if thinking of something.

The distance that cannot be caught up, the sudden appearance and sudden disappearance...

Is it a mirage?
On the boundless sea, the situation of mirages is indeed quite big.

It’s just that the probability is so high that he can meet him on the first day of going to sea?
Lin Feng frowned and looked at the place where Sky Island appeared, thinking about something.

”Go ahead and don’t change direction without my order.”

Then Lin Feng issued new orders to everyone.

Since the mirage appeared in this direction, maybe there will be unexpected gains in searching here?
Lin Feng is also a little uncertain about this guess, but since there is no good direction at present, searching in this direction also gives him a choice.

The episode where the mirage appeared gave Lin Feng some bad premonition.

Such a real scene, when Lin Feng first saw it, he didn’t expect it to be a mirage.

Judging from the situation of the mirage, this sky island should be a bit blurry, but from the wait and see just now, this situation did not appear.

Even under the binoculars, Lin Feng could still see the trees swaying in the wind on Sky Island, and that sense of reality was not like a mirage.

But why did it disappear in the blink of an eye?
Regarding this question, Lin Feng couldn’t figure it out for a while.
