Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 84 Treasure Maps and Nautical Charts

Chapter 84 Treasure Maps and Nautical Charts

And in the lower right corner of the map, there are two strings of fourteen-digit numbers.

Looking at these two numbers, Lin Feng took two steps thoughtfully.

In the process of walking, the tail of this string of numbers also changes accordingly.

It seems that this string of numbers is the coordinates of everyone.

After a simple calculation, the accuracy of this string of numbers is at the meter level.

If you walk one meter to the north, the end of the above string of numbers will increase by one, and if you walk one meter to the south, it will decrease by one.

Going due east increases the lower string, and going due west decreases it.

After figuring out the conversion, Lin Feng looked at the fourteen-digit number and couldn’t help but fall into deep thought.

Fourteen?That’s ten trillion!

According to the single-digit calculation of one meter, this is a distance of tens of billions of kilometers? !

How does such a big planet exist?

Thinking back to his younger sister Lin Su, Lin Feng quickly sent a message to ask.

”Xiaosu, what are your coordinates?”

”00010347431207, 0002254951764”

Lin Feng compared Xiaosu’s coordinates with his own.

The first six digits of the two strings of numbers are all the same, indicating that the distance between the two is not very far.

But how much difference there is, Lin Feng has to calculate it himself.

He quickly stopped the work in hand, took out a wooden board, took some coals, and began to paint and draw on it, calculating the distance between the two.

Ten minutes later, Lin Feng drew the last one, and the distance between the two was calculated.

930 twenty-two thousand one hundred and fourteen meters!

9312.11 kilometers apart!

This distance is also a distance spanning half of the Blue Star.

But on this alien planet, this distance can be said to be ’just a stone’s throw away’.

Sending the calculation message to Xiaosu, Lin Su was a little surprised to learn that the two were so close.

In this new world, the two can still be so close to each other, isn’t this a lucky thing?

Looking at this distance, a bold idea suddenly flashed in Lin Feng’s mind.

However, this idea is not the time to think about it yet, and I will consider this matter when I have the strength in the future.

The appearance of the map has attracted the attention of countless people, and everyone has revealed their coordinates.

Seek opportunities for people who are nearby to work together as a group. After all, on such a huge planet, it is basically impossible for family members to meet.

However, independent development will not last long, and only joint development can have new hope.

But while many people are revealing their coordinates, some people with ulterior motives have already begun to collect their locations.

……

While chatting with Xiaosu, Lin Feng suddenly remembered the treasure map in his hand.

Is this thing displayed on the map?

However, in order to prevent himself from guessing wrong, Lin Feng got up and went to the captain’s cabin of the battleship.

There is a complete pen and paper recording tool here, which is definitely enough to record the precise information of the treasure map.

Get ready, Lin Feng clicks to use.

In the next second, the treasure map disappeared, and a new notification appeared in the prompt area.

[The treasure map has been used, the approximate area of the target will be displayed on the map]

Seeing this reminder, Lin Feng had a bad premonition in his heart.

Approximate area?

As for the ’surprise’ reminder, Lin Feng didn’t want to make a typo like ’fleet’.

Quickly click on the map to view it.

In the lower left corner of the map, a pale yellow circle appears in the southwest of the island.

This is the approximate area of the ’treasure’.

But looking at the distance...

Lin Feng silently calculated that it was at least a hundred kilometers.

Moreover, the area of the yellow circle is also very large. Lin Feng estimates that there are at least tens of thousands of square kilometers of sea area within this circle.

It really takes a lot of time to set off to find the treasure.

It seems that he won’t be able to go to this treasure for a while.

Turning his gaze back to the densely marked nautical chart on the table, Lin Feng seemed to have thought of something, and greeted Greser and the navigator of the ship.

Soon Grayse came to the captain’s cabin with three navigators to report to him.

After Lin Feng waved his hand to show that he knew, he asked the three of them.

”Where is your country? And how big is the territory you control?”

Regarding these two questions, the four of them looked at each other, and then decisively drew their own territory and territory on the map.

Looking at the positions marked by the four people on the chart, Lin Feng was a little puzzled, there was nothing on it, ah?
Seeing Lin Feng’s doubts, Grace quickly explained.

”This blank area is where the Principality of Sierra is located. To prevent foreigners from discovering our homeland when going out to sea, the specific location will not be marked on the nautical chart.”

”Only the captain knows the exact bearing, and we only know one specific location.”

After listening to the explanation, Lin Feng nodded slowly. In this sea area, this approach is indeed safe.

Since there is a country like them, it means that there are many existences of the same level or even higher level of civilization on this planet.

In the vast sea, protecting one’s own local coordinates is indeed very effective.

”What about the territory?”

”The battleship is within the seven-day voyage of me... the Principality of Siai.”

Grace paused while explaining and quickly changed her words.

Lin Feng didn’t pay much attention to these small details. Is the battleship within the seven-day voyage?
In this environment, a sailing warship can probably run four or five knots when the sail is full.

Calculated based on the maximum range of five knots, that means that the territory of the Principality of Siai is within a radius of [-] kilometers in this area?
Look at the scale on the nautical chart and the surrounding islands marked out.

The resources in this ocean world are... really scarce.

Within a thousand miles, there are only eighty or so marked islands.

This made Lin Feng wonder, are there other islands that have been covered up and erased?

Regarding this question, the four people in Greese also shook their heads and expressed that they were unclear.

This is the only map they can see after engaging in this profession. As for whether there are other hidden islands in the Principality, he doesn’t know.

Lin Feng shook his head, it seemed useless to ask them this question.

”Where can we find out where we are now?”

What Lin Feng was most concerned about was how far he was from the principality. After all, he captured their two warships.

These two battleships seem to be expensive, and they disappeared inexplicably at sea, which may attract the attention of the other party.

”Here, it’s about two and a half months’ voyage from the Principality.”

Grace roughly pointed a direction on the map.

Looking at this distance, Lin Feng felt much more relaxed.

The two-and-a-half-month voyage took five months to go back and forth.

If he really waited until the other party found out about the anomaly and sent someone, he should have been able to fight by then, right?
Slightly heaved a sigh of relief, her worry seemed to be too much.

After understanding the situation, Lin Feng dismissed them, and he himself began to arrange the planning and construction of the island.
