Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 69 The Arrival of the Shelling

Chapter 69 The Arrival of the Shelling
The sailors lined up neatly, before they had time to draw their weapons, were frightened by the iron spear on the tip of their noses and dared not move.

”I’m sorry, I don’t have a good solution. I just want to aggrieve you for the time being. Put down your weapons.”

Grace shrugged and said to his subordinates.

The leader of the second team looked at the sea slaves who were staring at him, and then at the people who were crowded together and couldn’t draw their weapons.
Forcibly counterattacking, I am afraid that as soon as I draw my weapon, I will be stabbed into a hornet’s nest.

After all, the bloody iron gun in front of the nose is no joke.

In desperation, he could only grit his teeth and ask everyone to put down their weapons.

Looking at the enemies who put down their weapons, Lin Feng threw out the rope and handed it to the survivors, asking them to tie it up.

”Okay, the matter is done, and I will wrong you again.”

As Lin Feng said, he signaled the people beside him to tie up Grayse again.

After dealing with two groups of landing enemies, Lin Feng did not let down his guard. At this moment, there was a warship on the sea outside, staring eagerly.

If the people on board know that the entire army on the island is wiped out, the other party will have to cover the island with artillery fire if they say no.

In order to prevent the artillery attack in advance, Lin Feng had to have some trenches dug to prevent the artillery.

Although running around the hills in the middle can avoid the artillery, but that has to make Lin Feng keep an eye on the movement of the ship.

He will have other things at this time, and he is transferring with almost 80 or [-] captives, and the speed of action is too slow.

It’s better to dig deep pits and trenches directly on the spot for shelter, and the digging work can’t be done by the remnants.

Release twenty prisoners and let them dig a hole on the spot. If they can’t dig it well, they will be the ones who die when the artillery fire comes.

After simply relaying their interests to these captives, their digging speed was faster than that of the survivors.

As for resistance?

A dozen or so muskets were aiming at them.

If there is any change, they will be beaten into a sieve.

Although the survivors don’t know how to use muskets, the opponent’s shooter will.

Threat with their lives and let them teach the survivors how to use it.

For Lin Feng, as long as the survivors learn how to fire and how to reload, it will be fine.

As for the accuracy, as soon as the fire is fired, the surrounding survivors will also enter the battle immediately, and those who have the heart of resistance will be eliminated.

After arranging the chores, Lin Feng found Grace and continued to ask for some information, so as to understand the other party’s strength.

”You did a good job just now, I thought you would ask your subordinates to resist a little bit.”

Grayse glanced at the iron crossbow in Eleven’s hand and the musket in Lin Feng’s hand without saying a word.

Lin Feng also noticed that the other party’s eyes were wandering, and said casually.

”I’ll ask you a few more questions, and if you answer them, I’ll let you go.”

Seeing that there was a chance to escape, Grace became extremely cooperative.

”Is there anyone on board stronger than you?”

Grace hesitated for a while to answer this question.

”Yes, our captain, I can barely tie with three of his words.”

Hearing this answer, Lin Feng was a little surprised. Grace’s strength and reaction speed were already terrifying.

This captain is actually stronger than him?And it still takes three of them to tie?

Looking at the plan of the people who want to disguise them to board the ship and fight, I have to think again for a while.

”Apart from the people on the island now, how many people on the ship can fight?”

”If they can fight, all sailors can participate, but their strength is not as good as these specialized fighters.”

Grace thought for a while before speaking, and at the same time continued to add.

”In addition to these, there is also a captain’s exclusive escort.”

”Although there are only ten people, their equipment is better than ordinary soldiers, and their strength is not bad. I can fight two or three at most.”

After listening to the report, Lin Feng frowned slightly.

Catching Greyse was also done with the help of the right location and timing, but it is too difficult to go to the island and enter the enemy’s den to reproduce it again.

It seems that if you want to board the ship to execute the beheading plan, you have to think carefully.

After getting a good understanding of the situation, Lin Feng stopped interrogating him and went to the side to think about how to drive away the warships at sea.

On the other side, on the deck of the sailing warship.

Alexis fiddled with the monocular to observe the situation on the island.

The island has been very quiet since a round of gunfire, and even the second team stepped in without any movement.

Is there any horrible existence on the island?

Otherwise, how come there is no movement when more than 80 people enter the island?

Putting away the binoculars, Alex thought for a moment, then ordered.

”Herald, send a signal to the island and ask what’s the matter.”

”Yes, Captain!”

Immediately afterwards, in the hands of the herald, an orange-red signal flare went up.

The people who were digging trenches on the island heard the noise and looked up one after another.

”What does it mean?”

Seeing this, Lin Feng quickly asked Greser who was tied up beside him.

”This is asking what happened. According to the regulations, I will also respond with a signal flare here.”

Grayse was also honest, and truthfully explained the usefulness of the signal flare.

”What about the signal flare?”

”It has been kept with the Musketeers, and now it should be in your hands.”

Lin Feng immediately got up and asked the adherents if they had seen this thing.

Not long after, Haixing came over with a flare gun in the style of a short-fired blunderbuss.

It also comes with three differently colored marked flare ammunition.

”Which one do you want to hit?”

”Middle.”

Looking at the signal flare with the green mark, Lin Feng glanced at Grace, then stuffed it into the sky and ignited it to launch.

”Wh-bang--”

A signal flare with a green light soared into the sky, and Alex on the ship saw the other party’s response, and his face became more dignified.

The flare pattern was correct, but it took so long to respond.

They must have encountered an accident on the island. After thinking about it, Alex immediately issued a new order.

”The gunner on the starboard side is in position, enter the combat position, at the foot of the target island, prepare for salvo!”

Suddenly the alarm bell on the ship rang, and all the sailors on the deck and in the cabin began to enter the fighting state according to their positions.

As soon as the position was completed, Alex did not hesitate to order the fire.

”Three salvos, fire!”

”Boom-boom-boom-”

Thirty-two different cannons on the right side of the ship’s side roared at the same time, and the entire battleship created waves of ripples on the sea.

When the cannon sounded, Lin Feng was startled, and immediately shouted.

”Everyone find a bunker to hide!”

As he said that, he jumped into the dug trench and dragged the bound Greser in by the way.

With the help of gunpowder, the black iron ball smashed into various parts of the island with a whistling sound.

None of the trees that were rubbed were torn open a gap, and then slowly fell down.

The accuracy of the ship’s artillery was not good, and the first round of blows did not hurt everyone.

But after calibration, the second and third rounds of artillery fire roared in quickly.
