Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 93

Chapter 93
The huge sail slowly rose from the mast, and the eight-sided white sail slowly opened from different directions.

This is what it looks like after being blown by the sea breeze.

Under the hot air current at noon, the wind on the sea was extremely fierce, and soon the battleship dragged a long wake and headed towards the treasure.

It was the first time for Lin Feng to go to sea on a sailing warship, and he was a little curious, looking around on the deck.

After all, what about that man who doesn’t like battleship cannons?

At the same time, it is also the first time to make such a large warship, which can better watch the scenery on the sea.

Although the daily viewing scene on the island is no different from that seen on the battleship, it is still quite novel from a different angle.

However, Lin Feng’s novelty soon passed away. Apart from being able to see the island far away from the tail at the beginning, there was an endless sea after that.

Lin Feng was a little bored with the same scenery, and then he went back to his captain’s room.

At this time, the captain’s room has been upgraded and divided into three rooms, the nautical meeting room, the captain’s office, and his bedroom.

After being divided from the original captain’s room, the area inside has not decreased, but has increased a lot.

At the same time, the interior is more luxurious, and the functionality of the objects is also more.

Especially in his office, he even got a miniature model of the Black Coral.

On the model, almost all the details of the entire battleship were restored. This kind of ’toy’ added a lot of fun to him on the voyage.

Back in his captain’s room, Lin Feng did not choose to rest alone, but called Grayse, the navigator and others into the conference room to discuss the detailed route plan.

During this long voyage, Lin Feng also intends to accumulate experience for the next part of the fleet to find his sister.

As a modern high-educated Lin Feng, he is very fast at learning navigation knowledge.

According to Grace, he is now able to complete the work of pilot management alone.

However, with this kind of professional knowledge, Lin Feng just wanted to understand the operation, and the details had to be arranged by them.

”The voyage this time is about 150 to [-] kilometers. According to the current wind speed, we can cover one-third of the distance before nightfall, but now the question is, do we have the conditions for night voyages? ”

Sailing at night is an important issue. If he can sail at full speed at night, for Lin Feng, this trip can be completed earlier.

But if it is impossible to sail at night, the forward speed will have to be greatly slowed down.

As the first mate of the ship, Graese, after Lin Feng asked the question, he immediately answered.

”It’s hard to say. It’s our first time to come to this sea area. We don’t know the situation on the sea. If there are no islands and reefs, what’s the problem with the smooth passage?”

”In addition, today’s weather is pretty good after looking at it. If the clear weather can be maintained at night, there is no problem in sailing forward with full sail.”

”But if there is fog, it’s hard to say...”

For this answer, Lin Feng was still somewhat dissatisfied.

If you want to test the weather and sail, you can only pray for smooth sailing along the way.

But for his ’foreign’ race, can this world give them a smooth journey?

”We can’t control the weather problem, but man-made problems must not appear. From now on, the ship will implement three shifts, divide 300 people into three groups, and have someone to rest and be on duty 24 hours a day.”

”The first group is led by first mate Greyse and Eleven. You are in charge of the time from starry night to sunrise, to ensure the safety of the night, go to rest and sleep now.”

”The second group consists of Navigator Blair and Fifteen. You hold on to the time from early morning to after noon, and are responsible for correcting the course and checking the situation of the ship.”

”The third group is led by me, responsible for the time in the afternoon and after nightfall.”

Lin Feng assigned the work one by one to ensure the safety of the voyage.

The two people who need a home page can go and lead their team to the lounge on the bottom of the ship to rest.

After the upgrade, the sailors on the ship no longer need to build hammocks to sleep on the deck, or sleep on the ground next to the naval guns.

In the lounge on the ground floor, several rooms were turned into their sea bedrooms.

Although this bedroom is public, it is much better than the previous sleeping environment.

Moreover, the lounges on the ground floor have been specially constructed with sound insulation and moisture-proof measures, allowing you to have a good rest.

However, after the battle bell on the ship is sounded, there will still be a special ’communication broadcast’ that will be transmitted to the house along the copper pipe.

In addition, the first mate, navigator, or Lin Feng’s personal guard team all have a small room of their own.

It’s not big, but not crowded with sailors.

Soon, according to the division of teams, the two teams began to enter a state of rest.

But it’s not exactly putting a team on duty, either.

The normal situation is that one team is on duty, one team is half-resting and alert, and the other team is completely resting.

In this way, two-thirds of the people on board can be mobilized at any time, so that only one team can be sent to guard.

At the end of the meeting, Lin Feng casually clicked on the map to compare the routes.

On the blue sea, a small white dot is heading towards the pale yellow treasure site.

Now the journey has just begun, and the degree of deviation is not serious. It is estimated that he will correct the path again at night.

The task of going to sea has been completed, and the next thing is the boring waiting time.

The sea voyage is monotonous and boring, but for this boring leisure, Lin Feng hopes to continue.

Because only in this way can the route be smooth and smooth.

If he starts to get busy, it means that he is in a dangerous situation.

Stay in your room, boringly browsing forums and chatting to pass the time along the way.

……

The stars were twinkling, and it was already eight or nine o’clock in the evening.

Looking at the clear sky, there should be no problem sailing at full sail tonight.

The sailors were also changing shifts at the moment, and Lin Feng came to the wheelhouse alone to direct the helmsman to correct the direction.

Half a day of sailing with full sail, originally estimated to cover one-third of the distance, has now completed two-thirds of the journey.

Seeing the treasure spot that was getting closer, Lin Feng decided to lower his sails and sail slowly in order not to miss it.

At the same time, I additionally asked the two people in charge at night to find and report as soon as possible when encountering a situation.

Before going to bed, after confirming that everything was normal, Lin Feng returned to his bedroom to rest with peace of mind.

It was the first time I slept on the sea, and this boat was also specially made. There were two special soft partitions on both sides of the bed to prevent falling off the bed when encountering big waves while sleeping.

Lying comfortably on the big bed, Lin Feng casually sent Xiaosu a good night and closed his eyes to rest.
