Starting from the Wizarding World

Chapter 149: One body, two faces, a divine scholar!Chapter 149 Two sides of the same coin, a great scholar from the heavens!
When Rorschach confirmed the target he wanted to teach, he quickly arrived outside the room of the great scholar of the God under the guidance of the spirit of the tower.

Although [Tower of Omniscience] is the name of an organization, it is indeed a building located in the central area of the Grey Tower Continent.

It is not like the [Gray Tower] in the Gray Realm that reaches from heaven to earth. Its appearance looks like an ordinary high tower building, but its interior is larger than many small worlds, and almost every room is a subspace.

For example, the High Tower Library that Rorschach often visited before was a separate subspace, which contained the largest number of books in the entire Gray Tower world group!

No, even the most books in the entire wizarding world!

Although the Ark World Group has long been able to convert books into electronic data, many truly secret books and books that can convey special value cannot be digitized.

Therefore, the reputation of the Tower Library is extremely high in the six major wizarding worlds.

It is worth mentioning that the tower has nine floors.

The highest ninth floor is where the Tower Research Institute is located. Usually, only members of the Tower Research Institute or a very small number of authorized persons can enter that floor, such as the Scholar of the University of Beasts who is in charge of the daily affairs of the Tower.

The eighth floor is the territory of great scholars.

As for the seventh floor, it is naturally the residence of ordinary scholars. All junior, intermediate and senior scholars can apply for residence here. Relatively speaking, the higher the level of the scholar, the higher the quality of the subspace that can be applied for.

Like the great scholars on the eighth floor, each of their territories is like an independent little world, built entirely according to their own preferences.

The room ’808’ that Rorschach came to at this time was the territory of the great scholar of the gods who had done in-depth research on the divine system. Before coming here, he had already applied to this great scholar of the gods through the spirit of the tower.

When the other party learned that he was coming to visit, they were also very welcoming.

Today, Rorschach is, after all, the rising star of the High Tower, and in the future he will most likely become the youngest scholar in the history of the High Tower.

Even a great scholar would not mind getting closer to such a future star, especially when the other party takes the initiative to visit him.

dong dong dong-

When Rorschach knocked on the door of Room 808, it was opened from the inside almost instantly, but he didn’t see anyone behind the door.

”Your Majesty, Father God is waiting for you inside.”

Just when Rorschach was still hesitating whether to go in directly, a voice suddenly came from in front of him, which made him slightly stunned.

When he looked carefully, he found that there was a flying creature right in front of him, perhaps ten times smaller than a fly, hovering behind the door handle.

Obviously, it was this little guy who opened the door for him, and the Father God mentioned by this little guy was most likely the great scholar that Rorschach was looking for.

So Rorschach didn’t ask any more questions, just nodded and followed.

When Rorschach was brought to the Godly scholar by the little guy, the Godly scholar was standing in front of a huge simulated sand table with a watering can in his hand, watering the simulated sand table.

This was the first time Rorschach had met this great scholar, so he had no idea what he looked like before and it was mostly just guesswork.

However, it was not until he saw the real person that he realized that his previous guesses were wrong.

This divine scholar was completely different from the other scholars he had met. He looked like a sunny boy in his twenties. If one had not seen it with one’s own eyes, no one would have thought that such a sunny boy would actually be a high tower scholar!
Driven by curiosity, Rorschach also observed the other party with the True Prison Eye:
”Name: Tenjin University Scholar”

”Race: Gray Tower Wizard, Abyss Evil God”

”Status: Five-ring Moon, medium divine power”

”Ability: God’s Domain, Gluttony Godhead”

”Hint: Although many people know that this great scholar has done a deep study of the divine system, few people know that he had already forcibly seized the godhood of the ’God of Gluttony’ based on his own research many years ago, and thus gained an additional alias of the God of Gluttony.”

……

Good guy!
Gluttony is actually around me?
Rorschach had dealt with the God of Gluttony indirectly a long time ago. At that time, he was still in the Gray Domain and had just been promoted to the Silver Level.

It has to be said that the horrifying sight of those gluttonous walkers eating whatever they saw had quite a shock to him at the time.

So much so that he still remembers it vividly when he thinks back on it now.

But he never expected that one day he would actually meet the God of Gluttony in this way, even though the Heavenly God Scholar was also a cuckoo in the magpie’s nest.

But from the timeline, when he encountered the God of Gluttony, the Great Scholar of the Gods must have been the God of Gluttony for many years.

This discovery also made Rorschach realize that there were indeed not many simple people among these great scholars in the tower.

”Greetings, Senior God.”

What he was thinking would definitely not affect Rorschach’s decision to greet people first.

Even though he was the most promising genius, he still had to observe basic etiquette. Besides, he came here to seek help from the great scholar.

”Don’t be so polite. I believe that it won’t be long before you will become one of us, and then there will be plenty of opportunities for communication.” The great scholar chuckled and was quite approachable in front of Rorschach.

”Thank you for your praise, Senior Tianshen. I am not absolutely sure about this kind of thing. I can only say that I will do my best.” Luo Xia said modestly.

“Don’t be modest. I have also read the first step of the legendary road you announced before. It is indeed very good, and is definitely much better and more complete than any other road I have seen so far…” the Tianshen scholar exclaimed.

After hearing this, Rorschach felt it was not appropriate to remain modest.

Being too modest may sometimes make people feel hypocritical. If a great scholar wants to praise him, he will just listen carefully.

However, just as he was silently listening to the praises of the great scholar, he suddenly noticed the peculiarity of the sand table next to him!
Looking into the sand table from his perspective, he saw that the entire sand table looked like a miniature continent with all kinds of landforms on it.

Moreover, there are some more mysterious creatures living in it, and their level of civilization is probably only at the Bronze Age.

The great scholar of the Heavenly God seemed to be watering just now, but actually he was bringing rain to an area. It looked like that area had been dry for a long time. When it finally rained, those mini people in the sand table knelt down and thanked God for giving them such a heavy rain.

Rorschach also noticed that these mini people in the sandbox should not be able to see the world outside the sandbox. In their eyes, the outside world is just an endless void.

Only when the water poured by the great scholars of God falls into the sand table will they see it and regard it as rain from heaven.

”Interesting, right?”

The Godly scholar noticed Rorschach’s gaze and asked with a smile.

”These creatures...were all created by you, Senior God?” Luo Xia asked curiously.

The great scholar shook his head and said, ”With my strength, I am not strong enough to create life. To be precise, these creatures should be cultivated by me. It is not easy to make them have the same wisdom and emotions as normal creatures in such a tiny state. It took me a lot of effort.”

”Indeed.” Rorschach nodded in agreement.

The size of these mini sand table figures is not actually the point, because there are creatures smaller than them in nature, but normally the smaller the creature, the harder it is for it to have intelligence.

Because a small body means a small brain capacity, and a small brain capacity means it is difficult to have much intelligence. This is the law of nature.

However, the great scholar of Tianshen changed this natural law through acquired training, which is undoubtedly extremely difficult.

Rorschach also noticed at this time that the flying creature who had opened the door for him earlier, after bringing him to the side of the great scholar of the Celestial God, flew straight towards the sandbox continent and quickly entered the sandbox.

Although the size of that tiny thing is also very small, it is much larger than the mini figure in the sandbox.

If those mini figures in the sandbox are compared to 1.5 meters tall, then the little one is at least three meters tall, and has wings that allow him to fly.

Rorschach could fully imagine the little guy’s status in the sandbox continent.

Sure enough, when the little creature entered the sandbox continent, it quickly flew to the top of a high mountain.

On that high mountain, there is a magnificent temple.

When the little guy landed at the entrance of the temple, the guards there knelt down in front of him and kowtowed in unison, saying, ”Greetings to the Messenger of God!”

The little one said arrogantly: ”Everyone, get up. Today, Father God is meeting another true god from outside the domain. I saw it with my own eyes...”

Listening to the little guy bragging to the guards about what he had seen and heard, and describing himself as a true god from outside the domain, Rorschach’s expression couldn’t help but feel a little strange.

”Hahaha, don’t mind it. This little girl Rebecca always makes a fuss like this.” The great scholar of the Gods laughed at the side.

”I didn’t care, I just thought it was novel.” Rorschach laughed.

”Let’s not talk about this for now. You came to see me specially this time, so you must have some questions for me. Tell me--” The Tianshen scholar put the watering can in his hand aside and asked Rorschach.

”Senior Tianshen has a keen eye... Let me be frank. The main reason I came here this time is to consult you, Senior Tianshen. As wizards, if we possess the power of faith, how should we deal with it?” Rorschach asked.

”Possess the power of faith?”

Upon hearing this, the Tianshen University scholar quickly thought of something, ”Could it be that the announcement of the legendary path has given you the power of faith?”

”I didn’t expect it to have such an effect.” Rorschach said with a wry smile.

This time he was not being modest; he really had not expected it at all.

“Hahahahahaha, you really don’t know how lucky you are. With the power of faith, you also have the foundation to condense the godhead. Judging from the influence of the legendary road you announced, most of your believers should be gold knights, and the upper gold ones are definitely the most enthusiastic among them…”

The scholar from the Godly University pointed out the key points in just a few words, which made Rorschach slightly amazed. He could only say that he was indeed a professional.

Just a casual analysis, it hits the nail on the head.

”Not only that, this is just the beginning. If you can go one step further and open up a complete legendary path, then your influence will be even greater than it is now, and you will gain more power of faith.”

”In addition, when some of the upper-level golds are promoted to the legendary realm through the path you have opened up, you will have believers of a higher level. Even if their beliefs are different from those of believers in the traditional sense, as long as the base number is large enough and their life level is high enough, it will be enough for you to benefit from it all the time.”

”I made a simple estimate. If you are willing to use this path to condense your godhood, you will be able to become a weak god within a hundred years, and you will have the hope of being promoted to a medium god within a thousand years. You may even have the opportunity to become a strong god in the future. You will have strength comparable to that of a six-ringed Moon Star!”

The great scholar helped Rorschach calculate every step and also told him some of the possibilities with the highest probability.

Overall, it was similar to what he had guessed, but it was more accurate than his guess, so accurate that it even gave a rough time range.

”Not interested?” The great scholar saw Rorschach’s attitude.

”I’m really not interested, and I have no intention of believing in God.” Rorschach shook his head.

”I guess you won’t take this path either.” The Heavenly God Scholar was not surprised by Rorschach’s answer. He shook his head and smiled, ”If nothing unexpected happens, you will become the youngest scholar in the history of our tower. Just based on this, your future will not be lower than that of us old guys.”

”The path of becoming a god through faith certainly has its own characteristics, but giving up the path of being a wizard for this is not worth the loss.”

”Indeed.” Rorschach nodded slightly.

”Then I roughly understand why you came to me. If you don’t want to believe in becoming a god, then you have two options.” The Heavenly God Scholar stretched out two fingers and pointed at the first finger. ”The first is to separate a clone and let the clone condense the godhood.”

”In this way, you will have an extra divine clone. Even if it is stronger than your original self, it doesn’t matter. After all, you are two sides of the same coin. There is no possibility of being attacked by the clone.”

“But the disadvantage is also very obvious, that is, your clone is easily affected by the power of the godhead. Although it is you, it may not be like you... This situation is a bit complicated to explain, you try to understand it.” When the scholar of the gods explained this, he subconsciously frowned.

If Rorschach had not observed the information of this God-master, he probably would not have thought too much about it, but since he already knew that the God-master was also the God of Gluttony, combined with what the God-master just said.

It was not difficult for him to guess that the great scholar of the Heavenly God must have chosen this path and made one of his clones become the God of Gluttony.

Moreover, even if Rorschach really condensed the godhood with his clone, its impact would certainly not be as great as that brought by the godhood of the God of Gluttony.

The reason why the Heavenly God scholar frowned was probably because he thought of some bad memories, such as the clone that was affected by the God of Gluttony...

Rorschach had seen the behavior of Gluttony when he walked, so he could easily imagine what the God of Gluttony looked like.

”What about the second one?” Rorschach asked.

”The second method is relatively simple and crude. It is to directly use the power of faith to make you enter a deeper state of meditation. Because the power of faith itself comes from the power of the mind, as long as you are willing to give it up, you can use the power of faith to enhance the effect of your meditation by a hundred or a thousand times.”

The great scholar of the Heavenly God pondered, ”Personally, I don’t recommend you to choose the second option, because it is too wasteful. Even if the power of faith is enough to make you a powerful god, if you only use it to enhance the effect of meditation, at most it will only shorten your promotion speed, and it cannot essentially increase your upper limit.”

It’s the second one!

After listening to the Tianshen scholar’s introduction to the second option, Rorschach had actually made up his mind without any hesitation.

Because there is nothing to hesitate about.

The first method certainly seems to be more cost-effective, as it provides an extra clone with medium or even powerful divine power. Few people can resist such a temptation.

Even Rorschach is the same.

But the problem is that when this time is stretched to more than a thousand years, or even longer, its appeal to Rorschach is not that strong.

Perhaps in the eyes of great scholars, a thousand years is just a blink of an eye, and even ten thousand years is not long. What is there to wait for?

But to Rorschach, a thousand years was a long time.

He did not have that much time to slowly wait for a clone of medium divine power to take shape, and even if it did, it would probably only be of the strength of an ordinary five-ring clone.

Unless he could create another clone like this right away, the first option would be meaningless to him.

The same logic applies to the second option. What Rorschach really lacks is time, and this is not a waste for him.

As long as he can become a little stronger before the Battle of Hundred Realms, it doesn’t matter even if all his current power of faith is wasted.

This was a pleasant surprise, so there is no regret in using it up.

”I choose the second option. Please tell me what to do, Senior Tianshen.” Luo Xia said immediately after the Senior Tianshen finished speaking.

”Are you sure?” The Tianshen University scholar was a little surprised.

Because Rorschach’s choice was also beyond his expectations. He originally thought that Rorschach would definitely choose the first method.

”Sure.” Rorschach said firmly.

”Okay, I won’t say much.” The Heavenly God scholar nodded and said, ”With your wisdom, you must have your reasons for making this choice. In the final analysis, the choice that suits you best is the best choice.”

The great scholar of the Godly University guessed that Rorschach would make this choice and that he must have some personal reasons for it, so he didn’t waste any more words.

Those who can become members of the Tower are not truly stupid; at most they just have low emotional intelligence.

What’s more, it’s the most dazzling new star like Rorschach.

After confirming Rorschach’s attitude, the scholar of Tianshen University directly passed on the method of consuming the power of faith to Rorschach through the ”tower terminal”, which was the super futuristic mechanical watch they all wore on their hands.

This is a product of the Tower Research Institute, or more precisely, it is the work of a top scholar from the Ark World Group in the Tower Research Institute.

All tower members can receive tower terminals of different levels for free according to their respective scholar levels.

Moreover, one can always connect with the spirit of the tower while inside, which is indeed quite practical.

”Thank you, Senior God!” Luo Xia expressed his gratitude solemnly.

”You’re welcome. It’s just a piece of cake for me.” The great scholar smiled.

No scholar would refuse the offer of a method of using the power of faith, which has no value at all, in exchange for making friends with Rorschach, a future star. The God-level scholar is no exception.
