Chapter 126 3 Blood Prison, City of Wild SandChapter 126 Thirteen Blood Prisons, City of Wild Sands
After learning more about the situation at Blood Prison Academy, Rorschach finally decided to listen to Murphy’s advice and let little David go there to study.

What surprised Rorschach was that he thought little David would be somewhat resistant to this kind of thing, but after hearing that Rorschach was going to send him to school for a period of time, little David actually showed some anticipation.

After his initial surprise, Rorschach quickly figured out what was going on.

As a child who grew up in an orphanage, what little David longed for most was to have a normal life like other children. For a child like him, a normal life meant having parents to rely on and being able to go to school like other children.

Unfortunately, little David never had either of these.

It was not until he met Rorschach that he achieved the first point. Now that Rorschach has expressed his intention to send him to school for a period of time, he has naturally achieved the second point. Of course, he is looking forward to it.

However, Rorschach made three rules for him.

The first rule is to listen to Murphy in the academy and not act naughty.

The second rule is that you must not expose ”Dabai” easily. Even when you need to use Phantom, try to only use the Shadow Crow part.

The third rule is that he must not expose his strength as a ghost walker, which means he must not fight with others easily and must not blend into the ghost.

As long as little David can do the three things Rorschach requires, there won’t be any big problems.

Of course, if there is an emergency, David Jr. can also contact Rorschach at any time through the master-slave mark between the two.

”Then I’ll leave this little guy to you for the next period of time.” Rorschach said to Murphy.

”We are all brothers, why be polite? Come on, keep drinking and stop saying such pretentious words.” Garlon answered directly for Murphy.

He had already clinked the wine glass in his hand with several people’s, drinking so happily!
……

The days of reunion are always short.

When the great wizard Jiying exiled himself to the outer realm for a thousand years and the incident of the Urko family came to an end, Rorschach and the others also became busy.

Garlon officially joined the [Legion of Sin] and became a member of the ’Original Sin Brigade’, which ranked first among the ten brigades, which made him very excited!
Because the Original Sin Brigade has always been the strongest force in the [Legion of Sin], and its captain is even stronger than the deputy captain. In the entire [Legion of Sin], only the captain can suppress the Original Sin captain.

Garlon has never wanted to live under the shadow of his parents, but his parents are both ridiculously strong, which makes his mentality easily unbalanced.

Joining the Original Sin Squad this time is a good result for him.

Murphy also successfully joined the [Blood Prison Academy] as an assistant teacher. If he wants to officially become a mentor, he must at least get three rings of Morning Star to have a chance.

However, both Murphy and Garlon are top talents in the Eighth Blood Prison. Plus with the strong accumulation brought by the Eighth Blood Pool, there will be no obstacles at least before the Moon.

It is only a matter of time before you are promoted to the third ring.

*********
”Alice, why don’t we wait a little longer? The teacher might have been delayed by something, so he hasn’t come back yet.” The young man, who looked very elegant and noble, was persuading the girl next to him.

The elegant young man is called Kuro, from Pompeii. He is a mid-level wizard apprentice and can be considered a genius-level wizard apprentice in Pompeii.

Because he is only 130 years old now, which is undoubtedly very young among the mid-level wizard apprentices. If nothing unexpected happens, it is almost certain for him to become a high-level wizard apprentice.

As for the girl Alice next to him, she is a junior wizard apprentice and also his junior sister.

But Alice has another identity, that is, the daughter of her teacher, and her teacher, Wizard Connor, is actually a Morning Star Wizard!
Pompeii, as the third largest city in the Mad Sand Region, has a total of two First-Ring Morning Stars, and his teacher, Wizard Connor, is one of them!

As for where they are at this moment, they are outside the City of Mad Sand, and the reason they came here is to secretly find out the news about Wizard Connor.

More than two months ago, Wizard Connor was invited by an old friend to visit the City of Mad Sand.

Normally in situations like this, Wizard Connor would return to Pompeii after staying for a few days, with the longest stay being no more than half a month. And if he had to go back late, he would notify his family with a one-time communication device.

However, this time, Wizard Connor has not returned to Pompeii for more than two months, and no message has been sent back during this period.

This is undoubtedly a bit strange.

Alice felt something was wrong, so she took Kuro with her and planned to sneak into the City of Mad Sand to get some information.

In case something really happens to my father, I can take some measures to deal with it.

However, Kuro was obviously a little worried about this, because if something really happened to Wizard Connor, it would mean that there were enemies of Wizard Connor in the City of Mad Sand, or there were other dangerous situations.

What’s the point for them, two wizard apprentices, to go there?

However, he couldn’t refuse Alice’s invitation, for fear of leaving a bad impression on Alice. After all, Alice was the daughter of the Morning Star.

Although Wizard Connor is most likely to have encountered some unexpected situations, Kuro still doesn’t think that a Morning Star Wizard would get into trouble so easily. What if he rejects Alice now, and Wizard Connor returns to Pompeii and knows about this, how will he deal with it then?
So, even though he was extremely reluctant, he still followed Alice here.

Alice heard Kuro’s persuasion, but shook her head firmly and said, ”Even if my father really has something to do and can’t go back for the time being, it’s impossible that he doesn’t have any news at all. Brother Kuro, if you don’t want to go, you can go back to Pompeii first. At worst, I can go alone.”

”How can that be? Who do you think I am?” Kuro immediately expressed his dissatisfaction upon hearing this.

”I knew that you, Senior Brother Kuro, are the best!” Alice smiled when she heard that.

”Cough, cough, cough!”

An untimely cough suddenly sounded, and then they heard someone behind them ask, ”Excuse me, is the City of Wild Sands here?”

Upon hearing this, the two men immediately turned around nervously, only to see a huge mount that looked like a rhinoceros behind them. It had come closer without them knowing when, and there were two men on the back of the huge rhinoceros.

One of them had an untidy beard and looked a little decadent and had a look of despair on his face.

The other one looks more friendly, with long silver hair draped over her shoulders, giving people a very gentle feeling.

This was the person who had just asked the question.

Alice was stunned for a moment after seeing the silver-haired young man, and then she said in a low voice with some uneasiness: ”Yes, yes.”

This scene almost made Kuro’s nose crooked with anger.

Because he knew very well that Alice’s expression at this moment was clearly a sign of love, and Alice looked the same when she first saw him.

He didn’t expect that he took such a big risk to accompany Alice to the City of Mad Sand, and Alice actually fell in love with another man in front of him?
How could he not be angry!
If it weren’t for Alice’s identity, he would have wanted to turn around and leave now to avoid this bullshit!

However, this thought was just in his mind. He still couldn’t bear to part with Alice, or to be more precise, he couldn’t bear to part with Alice’s identity as the Daughter of the Morning Star.

But this made him dislike the silver-haired young man opposite him even more.

Although this had nothing to do with the other party and the other party was just asking for directions, Alice was still attracted to him.

Kuro didn’t have the courage to get angry at Alice, so he could only find a way to get back at the silver-haired young man. So he only heard him say coldly:

”Don’t you even know to come down to ask for directions? Don’t you think you’re being rude by being so condescending?”

When Alice heard Kuro’s impolite words, she quickly said, ”Brother, don’t say that. It’s not that serious.”

Hearing Alice say this, Kuro’s heart suddenly became more furious, but what he didn’t expect was that the silver-haired man didn’t seem to mind it at all. He took the initiative to jump off the mount and smiled at the two of them:
”I’m sorry, I was a little tired after traveling a long way, so I didn’t pay attention to those details. If you really mind...”

”No, no, no, we don’t mind!” Alice said hurriedly, ”Speaking of which, we are also planning to go to the City of Mad Sands. Sir...”

”Rorschach... that’s my cousin Pierre.” The silver-haired young man smiled and pointed at the bearded man on the rhino who still looked hopeless. ”His fiancée ran away with someone. I accompanied him to the City of Wild Sands to find his fiancée. That’s why he looks so hopeless.”

When Pierre in Ah Dai’s body heard Rorschach’s framing of him, he couldn’t help but roll his eyes and turned his head away without looking in this direction.

As someone who just wanted to be a lazy guy to the end, he was dragged here by Rorschach because Rorschach insisted on taking that kind of high-payoff meritorious mission. It would be strange if he was happy.

Although he had repeatedly told Rorschach that as a guide, he had no obligation to help Rorschach complete other tasks, and even if he followed along, at most he would just be a human encyclopedia for Rorschach. It was impossible for him to help, not in this lifetime.

However, this did not affect Luo Xia’s acceptance of the mission, and they came to the Thirteenth Blood Prison this time to complete the meritorious mission of [Prison Court].

It is true that [Prison Court] is the ruler of Blood Prison Island, but it is also the ruler of the entire Blood Prison world group!
Regarding this point, just by looking at the fact that the eighteen prison masters are all from the [Prison Court], it can be seen that the [Prison Court] has absolute control over the Eighteen Blood Prisons!

Therefore, the prison lord’s mansions of the Eighteen Blood Prisons can basically be regarded as peripheral organizations of the [Prison Court], and the core members of these prison lord’s mansions can barely be regarded as peripheral members of the [Prison Court].

Of course, they are definitely half a head shorter than the trainee prison guards.

However, the reason why the [Prison Court] has a tight control over the Eighteen Blood Prisons is not simply because of a fight for territory, but is related to the responsibilities of the [Prison Court]. When some special situations arise in the Eighteen Blood Prisons, the [Prison Court] is also responsible for dealing with them, just like the current City of Mad Sand.

After noticing something strange in the City of Mad Sand, the Thirteenth Blood Prison’s Lord’s Mansion also sent people to investigate, but they ended up losing contact.

In a situation like this, the Thirteenth Blood Prison’s Lord’s Mansion might not be incapable of handling it, but since the [Prison Court] has a mechanism for trainee jailers, it is designed to deal with special situations like this.

Otherwise, the Eighteen Blood Prisons are so large, and all kinds of special situations may occur every day. Can we expect the eighteen prison masters to clean up the mess?

This is of course unrealistic.

Therefore, the special situation of the City of Mad Sand eventually became a meritorious mission of the [Prison Court] for the trainee jailers to accept on their own.

When Rorschach was looking through the list of meritorious missions, he saw this mission in the first row and took it immediately.

Although there is a hint at the end of the mission that more than one Two-Ring Morning Star has lost contact in this incident, it does not affect Rorschach’s decision to take on this mission.

Of course Pierre was not willing to do this, but there was nothing he could do as he was now a partner with Rorschach.

If he didn’t come along, it would mean that his mission as a guide would fail. Although it would only be equivalent to a loss of 10 merit points, it would break his 997 unbeaten streak.

As a patient with long-term obsessive-compulsive disorder, he refused to accept this imperfection.

After arriving at the Thirteenth Blood Prison, for safety reasons, they did not use the space magic array to teleport directly to the City of Mad Sand, but chose to travel a long distance to get here.

With Ah Dai’s current speed, it took him less than a day to bring them here, and they happened to meet Alice and the others.

After hearing Pierre’s ”tragic experience”, Alice looked at him with a hint of pity, then looked at Rorschach again and said:

”Mr. Rorschach, if you guys are also planning to go to the City of Wild Sands, you can come with us. We are also going there next...”

Having said that, Alice also briefly introduced herself, of course including Kuro who was beside her.

However, there was no mention that she was going to find out about her father.

But she would never have thought that the reason why Rorschach stopped and asked them was because he already knew that they would go to the City of Mad Sand.

No, not only did they know that they were going there, they also knew that the wizard Connor they were looking for was likely also involved in the special situation in the City of Mad Sand, which is why there had been no news from him for more than two months.

In addition, what Luo Xia found most interesting was the relationship between this pair of senior and junior brothers and sisters: ”A young genius, he became a disciple of Morning Star, and was even relied on by his teacher’s daughter. Tsk tsk tsk... This is a perfect template for a pseudo-protagonist.”

Thinking of this, Rorschach couldn’t help but feel a hint of sympathy when he looked at Kuro.

Because usually people with this kind of template don’t have a good ending.

As luck would have it, Kuro also noticed the sympathetic look Rorschach gave him, and thought that Rorschach was deliberately using this look to provoke him because he had gained Alice’s favor.

This made him feel hostile towards Rorschach in his heart!
If Alice hadn’t been there, he would have probably taken action right away!

As for Rorschach’s strength... he couldn’t sense any spiritual energy from Rorschach at all, and there were only two possibilities in a situation like this.

Either Rorschach is not a wizard apprentice, but just a blood knight, or Rorschach is a formal wizard, which makes him unable to sense the existence of the wizard spirit.

Of these two possibilities, he chose the former without hesitation.

Because he did not feel the dignity of a formal wizard from Rorschach, and he was unwilling to believe that such a possibility existed.

Rorschach was not interested in guessing what Kuro was thinking. After agreeing to Alice, he sat back on Ah-Dai’s back and let Ah-Dai follow behind Alice and the other’s mounts.

”Aren’t you bored? You have to act young in front of those two brats.” When Rorschach returned, Pierre couldn’t help but pout and complain.

”What do you mean by pretending to be young? I’m not older than them.” Rorschach said with a smile.

”No way, how old are you this year?” Pierre was stunned.

He really had never paid attention to Rorschach’s age, but in his opinion, since Rorschach had already become the Morning Star, even if he was younger, he must be at least several hundred years old, right?
”Let me think... I should be thirty in two years. Time really waits for no one.” Rorschach sighed and shook his head.

”...”

Pierre suddenly felt like he didn’t want to communicate with Rorschach.

You know, he is already a three-ring morning star, and even among the one-ring morning stars, he is considered young, only more than three thousand years old.

One thousand years of this time was spent as a guide.

He thought he was exaggerating enough, but Rorschach was not even a fraction of his age!

Do you have to be so discouraging, you bastard?

Feeling insulted, Pierre didn’t want to talk to Rorschach for the rest of the journey. He just lay on Ah Dai’s back like Ge You, as if he was recalling his ”failed” life.

A few hours later.

The group of four finally arrived at the City of Wild Sand.

In order not to attract attention, the four of them jumped off their mounts and began to line up to enter the city with the crowd entering and leaving the city.

I have to say, judging from the situation at the city gate alone, everything is normal in the City of Mad Sand.

There was no obvious difference between this city and any other city Rorschach had visited before in the Eighth Blood Prison, except that it was only slightly different in scale.

After a while, they entered the city smoothly.

”Mr. Rorschach, have you decided where you want to stay? If you have never been to the City of Wild Sands, I know a very nice hotel at a very reasonable price.” After entering the city, Alice took the initiative to ask Rorschach.

”Is that so... Then let’s go together, it’ll be good for company.” Rorschach said with a smile.

”Okay.” Alice was very happy to see Rorschach agreed, and said in an excited tone, ”It’s over there, not far away.”

As she spoke, she had already started to lead the way.

All this fell into the eyes of her senior brother Kuro, who naturally became even more unhappy with Rorschach and the others. He wanted to kill this pretty boy Rorschach with his eyes!
But Rorschach didn’t have time to care about what he was thinking. He just walked slowly to Pierre’s side and asked in a voice that only the two of them could hear:
”Did you notice anything unusual?”

”Not yet.” Pierre looked normal, but he was always observing everything around him with his own unique reconnaissance method.

But just as he said, nothing was found.

However, Rorschach had already sensed that something was wrong with the city when he entered it!
