Chapter 127 The Unmentionable Prisoner!Chapter 127 The Unmentionable Prisoner!
Rorschach was not surprised that there was a problem in the City of Wild Sands.

If this was not a problem, then there wouldn’t be a situation where even a two-ring Morning Star sent by the Lord’s Mansion of the Thirteenth Blood Prison had lost contact, and it would be even more impossible for a meritorious mission to be directly posted on the [Prison Court] and accepted by him.

What really surprised Rorschach was that Pierre didn’t even notice the problem!
The reason he asked Pierre that question just now was not to get any useful information from Pierre, but to see whether Pierre, the Three-Ring Morning Star, was affected by the City of Mad Sand.

It turned out that his concerns were correct and Pierre was really affected!
This proves that the special conditions in the City of Wild Sands may be more dangerous than this mission appears on the surface!

Pierre also noticed that Rorschach frowned slightly after asking him the question, and he was obviously a little doubtful about his answer. He reacted faster than Rorschach expected, and immediately asked in a low voice:
”Am I affected?”

Rorschach raised his eyebrows, not expecting Pierre to be able to guess it.

If he had been caught up in some kind of influence and failed to notice any problems, his reaction might not have been as quick as Pierre’s.

However, seeing that Pierre had already guessed it, he immediately nodded and said, ”Not bad.”

”Don’t tell me what’s going on yet. We’ll talk about it later.” Pierre didn’t show much emotion when he heard this. He just nodded.

It seems that this is not the first time he has encountered this situation.

This actually made Rorschach a little unprepared.

After following Alice and the others to the hotel she had mentioned before and checking in, Pierre leisurely came to Rorschach’s room.

But he took out a pitch-black stone and placed it on the tea table in the room. Then, a layer of black light curtain was seen gradually spreading outward from the pitch-black stone until it covered the entire room!
”You can tell me now.” Pierre sat aside.

”Didn’t you notice any problems when you entered the city?” Luo Xia no longer concealed the truth and asked directly.

”When we entered the city?” Pierre recalled carefully.

But after thinking for a long time, he still didn’t feel that there was anything wrong, so he shook his head and said, ”I really didn’t find anything. Tell me -”

”During the entire process of our entry into the city, no one left here until they disappeared from our sight at the city gate. Do you think this is normal?” Rorschach stared at Pierre.

”What’s so strange about this? Now that you’ve come here, why would you still want to leave...” Pierre paused halfway through his words. After twitching his brows twice, he let out a long sigh and said in a deep voice, ”Sure enough, you’ve been affected.”

”It seems that you have already gotten out of that state.” Rorschach understood that Pierre’s previous reaction was influenced by something, so there was a problem with his cognition and he did not notice such an obvious abnormality.

As the core of the Mad Sand Domain, the City of Mad Sand’s status is similar to that of the Black Bone City in the Dark Bone Domain, or the Happy City in the Happy Domain.

Places like this in the heart of a region are always crowded with people.

This is true even for a place as gloomy as the City of Bones or as perverted as the City of Joy.

At first glance, this City of Wild Sands was no different from the other two cities. There was a crowd of people at the city gate, and it took them half a day to enter the city.

But that’s where the problem lies!

This is a city where you can only enter but not leave!

When Rorschach first noticed this, he just thought that maybe it happened that no one left during that time period. However, from the entire time they entered the city until they were far away from the city gate, not even one person left during such a long period of time. This was definitely a situation that Rorschach had never seen before!

Considering the several Morning Star wizards who lost contact as soon as they arrived, and Alice’s father who had no news for more than two months, it was not difficult for Rorschach to come to a conclusion - all these things were connected!

After noticing this, Rorschach immediately asked Pierre if he had noticed anything unusual, but Pierre said no.

This made Rorschach realize that Pierre might have been tricked as well.

As for why he himself was not affected, he was not surprised, because when he entered the legendary realm, his will had already left a mark in the depths of Purgatory.

If you want to influence his cognition, unless you can also influence the mark he has left in Purgatory, it will only make him realize the problem faster.

Fortunately, it seemed that this was not the first time that Pierre had encountered this kind of situation. Even though he was not aware of what was wrong with his cognition, he had rich experience in dealing with it.

After Rorschach pointed out the problem, he finally succeeded in changing his cognition with his own will and witch power.

”Oh, I knew I would encounter this kind of shit as soon as I came out. Why can’t you just stay quiet for a while, at least wait until my guiding mission is over.” Pierre rubbed his nose and became hopeless again.

”So you already know what’s going on here?” Rorschach heard what Pierre should know.

”What else could it be? Another member of the ’Ghost Tribe’ has escaped.” Pierre slumped down in the chair like Ge You and said weakly.

”The Wei Clan?”

Rorschach realized that this was probably another concept he had not yet encountered.

Pierre was not surprised by this. After all, he was Rorschach’s guide, and Rorschach didn’t need him to know everything. So he looked at Rorschach and said, ”You should know the duties of the [Prison Court], right?”

”You mean the Watcher?” Rorschach asked.

”Yes.” Pierre nodded. ”The Boundless Blood Prison, or the entire Blood Prison World Group, is essentially a huge prison... and from us trainee jailers to the chief warden, we are all the guardians of this huge prison. I think you should know this.”

Rorschach nodded again.

”So why do you think this huge prison exists, and what is held in it?” Pierre continued to ask.

”You mean, the people imprisoned are from the Gui tribe?” Combining the context before this conversation, Rorschach immediately guessed what Pierre meant.

However, in response to his guess, Pierre said something that left him a little confused: ”Yes and no.”

”?”

”The Gui clan is indeed imprisoned there, but only as a side effect. The one who is actually imprisoned in the Boundless Blood Prison is an unspeakable terrifying existence.” Pierre said in a deep voice.

”What do you mean by unmentionable? Can you explain it clearly at once? There are only two of us here. Are you afraid of being heard?” Rorschach said.

”It’s not that I didn’t make it clear, but that I couldn’t make it clear.”

Pierre said helplessly, ”The reason why it cannot be mentioned is that even the name of the imprisoned horrible being has been sealed by the Boundless Blood Prison. Except for a very small number of wizards with high enough status, others can no longer remember its name even if they knew it originally, and will forget it even if they hear it.”

Rorschach had realized by now that Pierre was not keeping him in suspense, but that he himself did not know more.

All we know is that there is a horrifying existence being imprisoned in the Boundless Blood Prison, but we know basically nothing about the specific information about that horrifying existence.

”What does that have to do with the Gui tribe you just mentioned?” Luo Xia asked again.

”Of course there is, because the Gui clan is a clan that was born from the dream of that terrifying existence.” Pierre’s tone was very heavy.

”A clan born...in a dream?” Rorschach was shocked.

Along the way to today, he has seen too many incredible things, and even he himself has stepped into the Morning Star and become what he once saw as incredible.

But when he heard what Pierre just said, he still had an unimaginable feeling.

What kind of terrifying existence must be imprisoned in the Boundless Blood Prison, with the entire Blood Prison world group becoming part of the prison, and even its name cannot be remembered and is sealed together?

Even their dreams can give birth to a race!
”In fact, the influence of that terrifying existence is far more than that.” Pierre continued.

”for example?”

”For example, have you ever thought about why, among the six major wizard world groups, only the Blood Hell world group has ubiquitous weirdness?” Pierre asked.

”Is the ghost also related to that existence?!” Rorschach was shocked again.

”Well, if the Gui Clan is the embodiment of the dream of that terrifying being, then Yougui is the synthesis of its dissipated power.”

Pierre revealed the biggest secret of the Blood Prison to Rorschach, ”The most insignificant scattered power will become dangerous-level ghosts, and the relatively largest power will become world-destroying ghosts, that’s all.”

”So what you mean is that whether it is the ubiquitous ghosts and monsters in the Blood Prison world group, or the ghost tribe that was sealed by the way, they are just the ripples caused unconsciously by that terrifying existence?” Rorschach concluded.

”Yes.” Pierre nodded. What does it mean to be so horrible?
This is what we call horror!
Rorschach has always used ”so terrifying” as a joke, but when Pierre revealed the biggest secret of this bloody prison, he really couldn’t think of a better way to describe it except ”so terrifying”.

As for the mysterious existence, Rorschach always thought it was a natural product.

Because although the ghost is scary and has immortal characteristics, the ghost itself has no self-awareness.

It does seem like the embodiment of some rules.

However, Pierre’s words overturned his cognition, and it was not until then that he understood why only the Blood Hell world group would give birth to ghosts.

It turns out that all this is related to the horrible existence that is imprisoned!
”What about the unknown-level ghost?” Rorschach suddenly remembered little David’s ’Dabai’ and asked immediately.

”You really think I know everything.” Pierre rolled his eyes.

Luo Xia was a little embarrassed: ”Okay, okay, let’s not talk about this, let’s talk about the Gui people.”

Pierre continued, ”The situation of the Gui Clan is somewhat different from that of the Yougui. Although they were also born from that terrifying existence, they have self-awareness, which is why they are called a clan.”

Rorschach nodded and motioned for Pierre to continue.

Pierre added: ”Although the Gui Clan was born in the dream of that terrifying being, they can escape from the dream and appear in reality for some unknown reason. Sometimes they can use the power released by that terrifying being to escape from the area where that terrifying being is imprisoned and come to the outside world!”

Rorschach said, ”You mean they escaped through the ghost?”

”That’s right.” Pierre nodded and said, ”They will merge with the power emitted by that terrifying existence and escape to the outside world. After the fusion, they will become the ghost’s brain!”

”Isn’t this similar to the Phantom Walker?” Rorschach said.

”The ghost walker can only transform into a semi-ghost form at best, and the power it can exert may not be stronger than the ghost before it was contained.”

Pierre shook his head and said, ”But the Gui Clan is different. They were born because of that terrifying existence, so there is no obstacle for them to merge with Yougui. Not only can they perfectly control everything about Yougui, they can even exert some power that Yougui itself may not be able to exert!”

”And the most important point is that ghost walkers will die. Once they are temporarily separated from the ghosts they contain by external forces, they can be killed, turning the ghosts they contain back into ordinary ghosts without their own will. But after the ghosts merge with the ghosts, they become ghosts again!”

”This is the biggest difference between them and the Phantom Walkers.”

When Pierre said this, he couldn’t help but sigh again, ”Now you understand why I reacted like that before, because these ghosts are really troublesome. As long as they appear in the outside world, they will try every means to destroy everything in the Blood Prison World Group, just to release that terrifying existence.”

”So... if you can get rid of a member of the Gui tribe, the merit points should not be low.” Luo Xia suddenly asked after listening.

”So all my talk to you is in vain. With such a troublesome thing, what we need to do is to find a way to leave this city and seek help.”

Pierre said unhappily, ”Once the existence of the Gui Clan is confirmed, there will naturally be official jailers or even higher-level members of the [Prison Court] coming. This is their responsibility, not ours. Can you please stop courting death?”

”Don’t worry, I know my limits.” Rorschach said with a smile.

Pierre could tell at a glance that Rorschach was trying to fool him, and he immediately became even more troubled. He could only say, ”I can tell you, once I confirm the existence of the Gui people, I will immediately flee regardless of everything. If you want to die, I can’t stop you, but don’t expect me to die with you.”

”Got it. Can you stop being so long-winded?”

Rorschach shook his head and smiled.

Of course, he was just trying to please Pierre.

If the trouble in the City of Mad Sands was caused by some powerful wizard, Rorschach might indeed consider retreating first.

The imprisoned horrific being indeed overturned many of Rorschach’s previous perceptions and brought him great shock.

However, this does not mean that he will be afraid of the Gui clan.

His current strength enables him to defeat the two-ring Morning Star like the Black Bone Wizard, but he also understands that there is still a big gap between him and Pierre.

But when it comes to dealing with the ghost, even if Pierre is an abyss wizard with three rings of morning stars, he is probably not as good as him.

Because the most troublesome thing about ghosts has always been their rules, and Rorschach is best at breaking the rules!
Even if the Gui Clan can transform into ghosts with their own will, the source of their power is still ghosts. This is the source of Rorschach’s confidence!

But he couldn’t tell Pierre these things, because it involved the True Prison Eye, which was a secret he would not tell anyone.

”Let’s go, let’s go and find out what the situation is with that guy who is suspected to be from the Gui tribe.” Pierre stood up and put away the black stone.

Rorschach nodded and said nothing more.

Because he also understood that in a situation like the current one, Pierre must have much more experience than him.

What he needs to do at this time is to learn more from Pierre’s approach.

……

A quarter of an hour later.

Pierre brought Rorschach to a tailor shop and said to him, ”The number of members outside the [Prison Court] is actually far beyond your imagination. Many of them are not even Morning Stars and have never been to Blood Prison Island—”

As he spoke, Pierre had already opened the door of the tailor shop.

”Welcome. Would you like to order custom-made dresses?” A little old man with half-white hair came over with a smile.

He looks like the owner of this tailor shop.

”We are coming from the Prison Court. Please close the shop. I want to ask you something.” Pierre said to the owner of the tailor shop.

The tailor shop owner was stunned for a moment when he heard this, but then he showed great excitement and responded repeatedly: ”Yes, I will go and close the shop now!”

Before he could finish his words, he trotted off to close the shop early.

This crude way of communicating made Rorschach speechless. ”So this is how you usually introduce yourself?”

”What else?” Pierre asked as a matter of course.

”Is there no secret code or something?” Rorschach asked.

“Why do you need to do all that messy stuff? Who in the Blood Prison dares to pretend to be someone from the Prison Court?” Pierre shook his head. “Besides, even if there really is such a person, can the guy just now keep a secret in front of them? He will have to confess everything with just a little bit of trickery.”

”...”

Although he thought it was a bit simplistic and crude, Rorschach had to admit that what Pierre said made sense.

The tailor shop owner just now was just a mid-level wizard apprentice. A random Ring of Morning Star would make him reveal the names of his ancestors. There is no way he could hide any secrets.

Rorschach was simply influenced by some ideas from his previous life, which is why he thought there was such a thing as a connection code.

”It turns out that the [Prison Court] has not forgotten my Werner family. I wish my father could see this scene!” The tailor shop owner had also turned back by now, and was still as excited as before, almost in tears.

”Alright, alright, stop talking about those useless things. I’m going to ask you something and you just answer truthfully.” Pierre said to the owner of the tailor shop.

”Sir, please tell me!” the tailor shop owner immediately said respectfully.

”How long has it been since you left here?” Pierre asked.

”Leaving where? The store?” asked the tailor shop owner uncertainly.

”Who asked you this? I meant how long has it been since I left this city of mad sand?” Pierre continued.

”Isn’t the City of Wild Sands good? Why should I leave here?” The tailor shop owner’s answer was exactly the same as Pierre’s answer to Rorschach before, as if an automatic dialogue mechanism had been triggered.

It’s just that Pierre at that time quickly changed his cognition, but the tailor shop owner in front of him could not do it.
