Starting from the Wizarding World

Chapter 134 Enter the genius scholar Luo Xia!Chapter 134 Enter the genius scholar Luo Xia!
”If I wanted to know, would I still ask you, Lord Segura, the all-knowing one?” Rorschach was in no mood to play guessing games with Segura, so he slapped him again without hesitation.

Segura just fell for it, and said with satisfaction: ”Although I definitely can’t do it, I can still understand some of the principles behind it. The reason for this should be that the adult has connected all the people in your world together in some way, so that the ’luck’ has become constant!”

”Make ’luck’...constant?”

”To put it simply, consider all the people in your world as a whole, and whenever some of them unfortunately die, their ’luck’ will be transferred to the remaining people. Moreover, the stronger they are, the more ’luck’ they can get!” Segura further explained.

”In other words, the more head replacements one has, the more benefits one will gain after the death of others?” Rorschach said in shock.

”That’s it!” Segura nodded.

”Doesn’t this mean raising poisonous insects?” Luo Xia said subconsciously.

”Raising Gu? What does that mean?” Segura was a little confused, obviously he had never heard of this term.

After Luo Xia explained the meaning of raising Gu, Segura suddenly understood and nodded, ”It is indeed similar to the concept of raising Gu you mentioned!”

When Rorschach heard this, he didn’t know what to say.

Because he suddenly realized that if the replacement could be compared to an alternative way of raising Gu, then he himself was actually the biggest beneficiary, no doubt about it!

If a Gu King must be chosen for this Gu breeding competition, then it can only be him.

”Not only have I been so successful as a Purgatory Knight, I have also encountered almost no obstacles on the road to becoming a wizard. Is it because I have the greatest share of ’luck’?” Rorschach recalled his past.

Of course, many of his encounters had nothing to do with luck, such as his True Prison Eyes, and his acquisition of the Purgatory Blood and becoming a Purgatory Knight.

The former was available to him before he became a replacer, and the latter was also an opportunity he had when he was still a rookie replacer.

If you think about it carefully, even if he benefited from what Segura called ”luck”, it was only when he left the Gray Zone that it became truly obvious.

If you look closely, there are indeed some cases where he is extremely lucky, such as meeting Segura and being planted with the Seal of Segura by him, which allowed him to achieve rapid promotion by refining the blood toad dolls that had accumulated in Segura’s body for many years, breaking through from a lower-level legend to a higher-level legend in one fell swoop!
This speed of progress is exaggerated even when looking at Blood Prison Island.

”But I think you don’t need to worry too much, little Rorschach. From what you said, your existence should be unconventional. Since that master arranged the Battle of Hundred Realms as the finale of his experiment, it proves that the overall strength of these small worlds is not too different.”

Segura was obviously also intrigued by the topic raised by Rorschach, and he became more and more excited as he spoke, ”The upper limit of the small world is there, and it is almost difficult to accommodate power above the Morning Star. So even if there are strong people in those small worlds, they must come to the six major world groups to make further progress and break through the Morning Star...”

”But even if they have the blessing of ’luck’ in their own world, I don’t think they can make faster progress than you, little Rorschach. I bet that you may have encountered an unexpected situation that even that adult didn’t expect!”

I have to say that Segura is worthy of being an original blood beast comparable to the Five-Ring Moon. At least in terms of vision, there is absolutely nothing to say.

Because this is actually what Rorschach judged.

If this bug didn’t exist, the original top replacers like Gustav would definitely have gained more ”luck”.

It is even possible that a very small number of them have already broken through to the Morning Star and become official wizards.

But that’s it.

The road after Morning Star is not so easy.

Even with the blessing of a small world’s ”luck”, it is not easy to continue cheating on the Morning Star Road.

Therefore, under normal circumstances, when the so-called Hundred Domains War begins, it would be an ideal result if there were several First-Ring Morning Stars among the replacers of the Blue Water Star, and this number could probably be counted on one hand. The ”luck” of a small world is not enough to support too many Morning Stars.

Then on this basis, further estimates can be made.

Just as Segura said, since the ’Star Throne’ is going to carry out the so-called Battle of Hundred Domains as the finale of his experiment.

Then the overall strength between these small worlds would not be too different, and there would not be a situation where there are several First-Ring Morning Stars on the Blue Water Star, while other small worlds directly have several Moon Great Wizards.

If that were the case, there would be no need to conduct the Battle of a Hundred Realms. We could just hold a Blood Hunt like the Eighth Blood Prison. There would be no need to make it so complicated.

Therefore, unless there is an unexpected hard-working player like Rorschach in other worlds, it is unlikely that anyone can be stronger than him.

”Thank you for your guidance, great Lord Segura.” Rorschach, who had figured it all out, bowed and smiled at Segura.

“You’re welcome!” Segura’s chin almost reached the sky. “Actually, I think this isn’t a problem for you, but an opportunity for you!”

”Ok?”

”With that gentleman’s level, even if there are some unexpected situations in this experiment, it is still a gain for him. If every experiment is completely predictable, then the experiment itself will have no value!”

Segura analyzed, ”So, when he said that those who survived the Hundred Domains War would receive supreme glory and the opportunity to evolve, it was definitely not just empty talk!”

After being reminded by Segura, Rorschach realized that his concepts had not yet changed.

In his original concept, there was a ’mastermind’ behind the replacement itself, and this ’mastermind’ was called ’Star Throne’.

Well, if there is a ’mastermind’ behind this, there must be a conspiracy, which is why so many people died on Water Blue Planet.

But what if this ’mastermind’ has no conspiracy?

Be it the Blue Water Planet, or any of the many other small worlds like the Blue Water Planet that have been chosen as targets, the creatures inside them are like lab mice to the ”mastermind” behind the scenes, or even smaller than lab mice.

Do scientists care about the life or death of a certain bacterial colony in an experiment?
Even if an accident occurs and all the bacterial colonies are destroyed, it will not be a loss to the experimenter. On the contrary, the accident that causes the experiment to fail may become one of the experimenter’s gains.

The analogy may not be entirely accurate, but that’s the point.

The problem he has been worrying about may not exist at all.

As the saying goes, those who are involved in the matter are often confused, while those who are not involved in the matter can see things clearly. As a bystander, it is not difficult for Segura to understand this truth.

”So, as long as I can make sure I survive to the end of the Hundred Domains War and make the people of the Blue Water Star the final winner, I will have a good chance of getting the reward from the ’Star Throne’?” Luo Xia pondered.

”I can only say that the possibility is very high!” said Segura.

”I see.” Rorschach nodded to show that he understood.

Although it was only a possibility, it made no essential difference to him, because it was impossible for him to accept being killed.

The only difference was that he might not have cared that much about the overall situation of the entire Blue Water Planet, and just wanted to protect people he was familiar with. Because he didn’t actually have such a strong sense of belonging to Blue Water Planet. After all, he was not a Blue Water Planet native. But if leading Blue Water Planet to victory could bring greater benefits, he didn’t mind playing a big game!
Just as Luo Xia was still thinking about how to prepare for the upcoming Hundred Domains War, a voice called him:
”Rorschach? I’m looking for you.”

Before that voice sounded, Segura had already floated back onto Rorschach’s shoulder and continued to serve as his shoulder mascot.

As for the voice that called out to Rorschach, it came from a very gentle-looking female wizard named Nicole, who was right behind him.

It is worth mentioning that Rorschach now has another identity, that is, an intermediate scholar in the [Tower of Omniscience], and this female wizard named Nicole is also an intermediate scholar, similar to him.

Rorschach chose to join the [Tower of Omniscience] first because it was indeed different from any force Rorschach had ever seen before.

As one of the most famous wizarding organizations in the Grey Tower world group, the organizational structure of the [Tower of Omniscience] is extremely special.

Its internal level division is not based on strength, but on the degree of knowledge mastered in different paths.

From the lowest junior scholars, to the middle scholars, then the senior scholars, the great scholars, and the highest members of the ’Tower Research Society’.

Moreover, this is a semi-open wizarding organization.

In other words, even if you are a member of other wizard organizations, and you don’t even need to be a wizard from the Grey Tower world group, you can still join the [Tower of Omniscience]!
For the [Tower of Omniscience], there are only two barriers to joining: one is that you must be a formal wizard, and the other is that you must pass an exam.

The exam content is not about strength, but about the degree of mastery of knowledge on different paths.

Of course, the higher the level, the lower the possibility of weak people appearing.

Because unless he is truly a rare genius, the difference in lifespan and life level alone is not so easy to make up.

The more powerful the wizard, the richer his life experience is, and the deeper his research is in different paths.

Therefore, there may be two-ringed or three-ringed morning stars, and even very rare moon stars among junior scholars, but two-ringed morning stars are rarely seen among intermediate scholars.

Not to mention the two-ring Morning Star, even the three-ring Morning Star is rare.

For example, the wizard Nicole who just called out to Rorschach is a three-ringed Morning Star, and she is actually considered a genius scholar among intermediate scholars.

Because most of the intermediate scholars are four-ring Moon Stars, and there are even a very small number of five-ring Moon Stars, the number of intermediate scholars of three-ring Morning Stars may be only slightly more than that of five-ring Moon Stars, and Nicole is relatively young among the three-ring ones.

Before Luo Xia joined the [Tower of Omniscience], she had always been known as the youngest intermediate scholar.

Until Rorschach, the ’uninvited guest’, with the body of a second-ring morning star, quickly reached the level of an intermediate scholar!
This made her feel lost for a while.

It was not until she adjusted her mindset that she made a gentleman’s agreement with Rorschach to see who could become a senior scholar sooner.

After a while, the two became friends.

However, what she didn’t know was that Rorschach, as a hard-working player, was now an intermediate scholar not because he could only be an intermediate scholar!
With the True Prison Eyes, Rorschach seems to have cheated in terms of the speed at which he absorbs knowledge and his understanding of many rules.

If he wanted, he could apply for the senior scholar test now, and he would most likely pass it.

I didn’t do that simply because I didn’t want to attract too much attention for the time being.

However, Rorschach did not feel any ill feelings towards Nicole, or the same could be said for most members of the ”Tower of Omniscience”.

The reason is very simple. Although the [Tower of Omniscience] is a semi-open wizard organization, most of those who are willing to stay here are real scholar-wizards who are not interested in fighting and killing.

Nicole is a typical example.

It’s hard to hate this kind of person even if you don’t like him.

Looking at Nicole who was walking towards him, Rorschach asked, ”What’s wrong, Wizard Nicole, what do you want from me?”

”It’s like this, I remember you seemed to say that you have friends in [Gray Tower Academy], right?” Nicole asked.

”Yes, that’s true.” Rorschach nodded.

”That’s right.” Nicole said with some distress, ”Gray Tower Academy has sent us an exchange invitation, and they need some junior and intermediate scholars to participate. At that time, they may let us try teaching there for a while, but you also know the situation here at the High Tower. No one is interested in such things. But the teacher gave me the task of finding people.”

”So you thought of tricking me?” Rorschach looked at Nicole with a smile.

Nicole couldn’t help but feel a little embarrassed when she heard this. ”I just remembered that you, Wizard Rorschach, have a friend over there, so we can meet him by the way...”

Nicole’s voice became lower and lower, and by the end it was already weak and tinny.

Because she herself knew that this excuse was really bad, but she really couldn’t find anyone willing to go.

Although the [Grey Tower Academy] will certainly give some rewards, who among the intermediate scholars of the [Tower of Omniscience] would be short of such a small amount?

She has approached several people, but they all turned her down.

She looked for Luo Xia because she happened to see him, so she came to give it a try, but she had no confidence that it would work.

”Okay, I’ll go with you.” Rorschach said.

”It’s okay. You don’t have to go... huh?” Nicole subconsciously thought that Rorschach had rejected her, but she quickly realized that something was wrong. She looked surprised and asked, ”You agreed?”

Rorschach smiled and said, ”Yeah, that’s what you said, I can go meet my friends.”

”Great!” Nicole was so excited when she heard Rorschach agreed. ”It’s decided then, you can’t regret it!”

”As ordered!”

Rorschach stood still, like a soldier receiving orders.

Nicole blushed again because of his annoyance. She knew that she might have lost her composure because she was too anxious. She immediately apologized and left quickly.

However, Rorschach’s agreement finally made her feel relieved.

Next, she only needs to find another mid-level scholar. As for junior scholars, it is much easier to find them because there are the largest number of them.
