Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 489: Ultimate Breakout (4)

On one hand, Almond, Lily, and Admiral Rudra were focused on mastering Voiderran and also steadily increasing their Trinity Force.

Daily, Regalons would extensively search for the most difficult Grimverse Trials that had maximum reward, and would notify the trio immediately.

Whenever a mega event or raid appeared that spanned across all seven realms, at least the top 17 spots were pre-determined in the ranking, belonging to Regalons.

Eega-class events, challenges, and raids rewarded the top 100, and top rewards were always taken away by Regalons.

Ten days later, Almond and Lily were at 99% while Admiral Rudra was at 95%.

Their Trinity Force was close to 100k.

It was only a matter of days until they mastered Voiderran and reached 100,001 Trinity Force.

”Master, they are going to reach their goals very soon! I can feel the speed at which their realm is devouring my energy. Those three are very close to mastering Voiderran to one level above my limit.”

”And they will have 100k Trinity Force in a day or two at most.”

”Master, how long will it take for you to seal me?”

Grimworld Tree knew this wasn’t an easy matter. The project would be destroyed as its Master planned to wipe out everyone except for the individuals he chose from the list.

But Grimworld Tree feared its master might not succeed if he didn’t hurry.

...

”Alright, I relayed to the Master that we’ll be ready to make a move after three days.”

Levi looked at the trio. ”We’ll have a total of 24 hours to act.”

Nobody except for a few people knew that things would go undergo extreme changes soon.

One day later, Almond and Lily successfully mastered Voiderran.

Right after that, they went out into the Grimworld and sparred with each other.

After seeing them sparring for five hours straight and still showing no signs of retreating, the strongest of the familias once again joined forces, an attempt to take the topmost Nightmare+ bounty.

”Tomb...tomb...tomb.”

”Thanks, Tombman, for announcing the obvious for all those hopeful ones.”

”I’ve been watching their sparring, in the hope of getting some improvement myself. I can feel they are stronger than ever, and I totally don’t think they can be defeated, no matter how much they try.”

[ Bettig pool opens soon! ]

”I am betting the Reiehore Familia will get annihilated first in the first wave of attacks. Please, God Almond and Goddess Lily, destroy them first and make me rich.”

”This will end the fastest. Those two are sparring seriously enough to cause constant damage to the very fabric of reality.

Almond and Lily were honing their crafts to the max by seriously going all out against each other, incorporating Voiderran in everything, and fully making it a part of their core power, as that was a must if they wanted to break out of this Grimworld Tree.

BOOM.

An attack from a full alliance of seven top familias, armed with hundreds of god-crafted artifacts, crashed down upon them like a divine thunderstorm.

But all that light, all that fury—

Disappeared.

Erased.

A single blink from Almond’s Eyes of Truth dissolved the mirage of strategy layered in dimensional traps and parallel strike-folds.

Lily’s Axiom of Weakness wrapped around the enemies like threads of predation, nullifying all the ’invincible’ protections they so proudly wore.

Before the clash could escalate into a true raid...

Spiral Edge Intent detonated from Almond’s heel as he stepped forward once.

Space twisted.

Time coiled.

The vanguard of the Yilthos Familia—forty battle-saints equipped with [Epoch Nulling Suits], specifically to resist against Almond’s exotic spatial-aided techniques —evaporated, each of them sliced into sub-particles before their minds could register pain.

”Too slow,” Almond muttered. He hadn’t even drawn his blade armament.

Lily raised a single palm. From her fingertips surged Dreadspire Sanguine Art, layered with Blooming Ruination. A crimson fractal sigil bloomed, pulsing with loss, terror, and magnificence.

Thirty-seven elite archmages from the Reiehore Familia tried to counter with dual-casting arrays, unleashing their preparation in order to seal Lily. They died, consumed by Eidol-Blood Dreadlain, their souls crystallized into howling ruby shards that evolved some of her Dreadlings.

Suddenly, three hundred powerhouses arrived to join the battle, all of them preparing to unleash their full power into Triumslaugher Circuit Formations, fusing into an Overlord Avatar Formation resembling a massive phoenix-mantis armed with three exotic cannons, eight glaives, a hundred giant feather blades, and a divine trinity aura.

It screeched.

It lunged.

It detonated before it reached them.

Almond’s fingers pinched at the same time.

”W-What the fuck happened?”

”A blackout. The entire overlord avatar formation that was said to be the most powerful projection of power, passed down to the public from the previous one of the seven thrones, just got devoured by a flicker of black light that enveloped it and made it vanish.”

”So, he really just pinched that to oblivion?”

”Fuck...how can they be so strong?”

Tremor surged through the air, not from the ground, air, or atmosphere, but from reality itself. Fibers of space unraveled. Time jittered. The sky pulsed like a failing heartbeat.

The storm of divine artifacts, the clash of thousands, the ultimate formation crafted from bloodline secrets and sacrificial rituals—

Vanished.

Not broken. Not countered.

But...

Erased.

A single flick from Almond’s hand—two fingers pressed and released—and an entire war-construct, housing centuries of cultivation, technique, and legacy, folded into a sliver of null and was consumed.

Silence followed.

No wind. No voices. Even the screams of dying spirits caught mid-curse had been clipped away. Just the shimmer of ruined space.

Then came the bloom.

A sigil of ruin outward from the Lily’s palm, interwoven with the purple-darkness of Voiderran.

Filaments, like threads from some unholy loom, pierced through dozens—then hundreds—each thread wrapping around organs, memories, legacies, and hope.

Then it tightened.

Sound returned.𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

With a crackling wail, dozens of elite powerhouses close to 100k Trinity Force, all belonging to X-rank Geneline familia—were torn inside out. Their blood vaporized, but their souls remained, twisted into crystalline horrors that sang in chorus.

Another surge approached. This one came not with reckless confidence, but cold, mechanical intent. Formations flickered into layered mandalas in the sky—gears, eyes, lances of compressed disasters. A massive mechanized golem construct formed, dragging with it the collective essence of hundreds, linked in body, mind, and technique.

It dove.

Reality caved.

It never touched the ground.

It was swallowed—devoured mid-motion by a flicker of anti-light that looked like a slash in the horizon, leaving no echo, no scream, not even a mark where it had been.

Thousands watching froze.

Not in awe.

In horror.

Just how strong were they now?!

Last time everyone saw them in action was fourteen days ago, but the difference was massive.

Everyone felt they were several times more powerful.

The two figures in the center didn’t even seem tired.

A single motion of Almond’s arm and the entire hills in the distance imploded. Hundreds of powerhouses, who had hidden behind makeshift defensive citadels, were caught in the ripple. They turned to glowing dust. Their artifacts sang with a high-pitched screech as they shattered one by one.

Another wave tried to scatter, split across dimensions, vanish into folded planes.

It didn’t matter.

A lance of dreadlight speared across the sky. Not light, not darkness— but loss. A formless absence made visible, a streak that dragged behind it everything: past glories, future dreams, the very idea of resistance.

For Space, Almond kept them in radar, giving the reach Lily needed, and once affected by Lily’s powers, mainly the stack of debuffs, there was no escaping it.

The end was extremely pitiful for the others as all plans and schemes were torn apart and scattered like dust.

Almond and Lily continued their sparring.
