Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 459: The Grand Annihilation Plan (3), Absolute Obliteration

”If so, allow me to make a move. If even a single of you managed to survive, I’ll kill myself.”

As soon as he finished speaking, an arcane oath contract manifested and burned up, sealing his oath.

Almond stretched his hand forward before darker colored streams and sparks of gold, silver, black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, and as they whirled, his veil that was streaming with all the energy of enemies he had severed and gathered infused.

Instantly, a heavy sword stretching 100 meters long and 10 meters wide manifested his hand, at the core of which was his Regalon Weapon—Loneveril.

However, the reaction of all the hundred Supreme Emperors facing him puzzled many as their expressions turned ugly.

’What the fuck did he just say?!’

’Fuck this shit! We won’t even die because of this arena, and even if it wasn’t for that, our main bodies are in the third layer, and we are merely controlling them like puppets. He is not going to kill us, goddamn it!’

’He is going to fucking die and we won’t even get to assimilate his Geneline!’

The reaction of Big D and others who knew about the truth was also the same.

’What the hell is Almond doing?!’ Kexell exclaimed in shock. ’He already knows they are descenders, so why did he make such an oath?!’

’This is puzzling, indeed.’ Krala frowned. ’Arcane Oath won’t spare him if he fails, but how will he succeed.’

Admiral Rudra turned to Big D. ’What the hell is going on with Almond?’

’Don’t ask me. I don’t know. I don’t even know how strong that brat is anymore. All I know is that he is a fucking monster who is impossible to kill and survive against...unless he kills himself, like by an arcane oath.’

The three of them saw Big D cluttering his teeth and were speechless.

Even Big D’s mind was fucked as he relayed to Almond. ’Brat, what the hell?!’

Meanwhile, the audience was also dumbfounded.

[ What’s going on? Why aren’t any of them using defensive skills?! ]

[ Idiot, this arena was going to revive them in the first place, but King Regalon made a stupid oath. ]

[ Yeah, what the fuck is wrong with his brain? ]

[ Fuck...what kind of joke this just became? Is he going to die by his own stupid arcane oath? ]

Even the people on the third layer who were watching were laughing and mocking him, mostly the people who were watching him the first time.

After all, everyone who was within the 11th to 100th floor was seeing him for the first time. Only some people from the top 10 floors had watched him previously via the streams due to their authority, but many of them were also puzzled by this oath.

Three seconds passed by in silence before Almond pointed his sword downward, holding its handle with his two hands as he faced the group, his eyes flickering with a ✾ symbol in each as all hundred Supreme Emperors facing him suddenly felt their soul trembling as Almond, for the first time, focused on these one-hundred individuals.

”Make no mistake,” Almond began speaking, his voice utterly calm yet resonatingly icy. ”The arcane oath I made meant your utter death.”

”A death that this arena cannot revive. A death...that will reach your true souls in the third layer. A death that cannot be avoided.”

Almond pointed his sword forward. ”Make your defense. Use everything in your arsenal. Squeeze every drop of your blood and soul in this defense, for this is coming to take your life in the truest sense possible.”

”Get ready.”

At that moment, all one hundred Supreme Emperors facing him felt an intense fear of them, their soul screaming in danger.

Even if they felt doubt, that didn’t stop them from going all out in their defense.

The other hundred descenders and clan leaders frowned.

’That cannot simply be possible.’ Bralamir clan leader firmly spoke, yet the words of Almond felt like a decree of absolute.

’Of course, it’s not possible. Humph, it also looks like he knew about this plan, yet he made such a stupid oath.’

’But...why would he do that if he didn’t have the confidence to do that.’

’Yet, how the hell what he said is that even possible?!’

Meanwhile, the audience of the second layer was also confused.

[ The fuck, are these people from the third layer? ]

[ I don’t get it. But I want to fucking see the action now! ]

[ Yeah, I feel like King Reglaon is going to turn into ash...because how the fuck can he break the Grimworld’s laws?]

[Then why are those hundred Supreme Emperors going all out in their defense? I don’t get it anymore...]

[ Why isn’t he attacking yet?! Their defenses are fucking stacking. ]

Almond simply looked at them in their various defensive phenomenons, as everyone practically used up all of their energies in defense while drinking potions to recover and creating another layer of defensive before drinking potion again as a whole five seconds passed by.

[ Fuck, he is deliberately waiting to let them have their best defenses! ]

[ What the fuck? ]

[ I know what’s going on! His wife is nowhere to be seen, so something must have happened to her, maybe she died or something, and now he also has a death wish. ]

[ Nice theory. -10 out of 10 ]

”Almond, I did say you have to show off, but what the fuck are you doing?!” Big D shouted, his hair standing and failing as he hissed, stress maximum.

”They are stacking defenses, alright.” Kexell speechlessly watched. ”All of them had created enough defense until they can’t control them anymore. Some have four defenses, some have five...”

”Those ten have controlled six defenses,” Krala muttered. ”They all suddenly went all out as if death whispered to them.”

At that moment, Almond finally spoke, his eyes sparkling with black-white. ”It looks like you are ready.”

In the next moment, Almond swung the massive sword without moving.

It made a horizontal slash a hundred-meter-wide ruptured space as a golden-black stream appeared.

Astral Aurelith, his exotic element, burst out while the massive sword dimmed and vanished.

”Sever and scatter,” Almond uttered, his voice resonating with space, his will that paired this attack provoking the Grimworld’s laws.

Exactly one hundred blades shot out from the golden-black rend and vanished.

In the next moment, every single Supreme Emperor of one hundred, regardless of how powerful and versatile their defense was, felt a sharp pain and a single sound of a piercing sword stacked a hundred times at once.

All those watching saw a sword struck into every single person’s forehead.

For the first time, everyone sensed Almond’s aura as it surged, expanded, and roared out above in a silhouette of an unknown beast with sword-like fangs and eyes that defied and rejected all that blocked him, all that limited him.

Every single person present in the stadium shuddered with an involuntary scream of fear their souls issued.

The world froze, literally.

Thousands of eyes manifested above. The laws took the shape of vines as they clashed against Almond’s aura.

Almond looked up, his entire body cracking as he fought against the Grimworld’s laws that he sought to break with this strongest attack infused by his unbreakable will.

Those hundred Supreme Emperors were already dead. Almond not only severed their connection with these crafted bodies in an instant but before he severed that, he traced that connection as the utter annihilating force of those swords was reaching for their souls in the third layer via the very connection they had made to come here!

Layers of rifts had formed, breaking the absolute barrier between the third and second layer as those swords hung through to reach their souls while the Grimworld’s Laws resisted him.

Almond’s body began cracking, indicating that he was losing the bout against the Grimworld’s Laws.

An overwhelming sense of hopelessness bore onto him as thousands of eyes pressured him, covering his senses.

A power so strong that it bloomed a flower of despair in him. A sense of utter weakness was assaulted with clear intent as if no matter what he did, there was no breaking this law.

But amidst the darkness that veiled him, a silhouette formed. Dim, hazy, dreamy.

A pair of eyes lit up in this abyss, utterly defiant and stubborn.

A sword in the figure’s hand rose.

And then, the figure howled,...a roar of rebellion resounded, shattering the darkness weaving around.

The eyes looked up and the hand moved the figure waved his sword!

’You shall not break my will!’

Almond’s soul brightened in the defiance, shattering all the pressure surmounted him as his tenacious will called forth, breaking all restriction, all limits, erasing all of which sought to bind him!

And in the next moment, the world resumed.

The sky cracked, and the entire arena formed cracks all over as the one hundred Supreme Emperor’s bodies suddenly scattered into motes, streaming towards Almond.

The rifts in the sky shook the whole space in thousands of kilometers as the entire Arcadia Spectrum trembled and began to break due to the intense space quacks as the layer had to fill in the gaps broken by Almond.

In the third layer, the one hundred Supreme Emperors who were controlling the bodies suddenly opened their eyes.

But before a single one of them could issue a cry or even a peep from their mouths, their bodies glowed with countless cracks, and their souls were scattered. All of them shattered into sparks and vanished, forcefully getting absorbed into Almond as his true spirit in the second layer.

In the arena’s center, he sat on his throne as one hundred different streams of sparks absorbed into him.

He looked up at the sky, at the silent comment box as his voice rang out. ”I am Almond Regalon Crowshade and I am coming there to take the ultimate throne.”

”And I will ally myself with the deity familia that has the highest contribution in the destruction of a certain Myriad Stars Alliance situated on the 75th floor.”
